Big Five Stars to H&J
What a company! What a terrific service! And knocks the socks off the competition in specialised holidays. We wanted a bespoke safari in Okavango Delta(Botswana), and had received a poor experience with a rival company. We phoned Hayes & Jarvis and were immediately impressed by their sales executive Chris Cook. He couldnât have been more enthusiastic and his intention to help us and his efficiency made us feel confident book , what for us was a trip of a lifetime. Once booked, you are allocated an overseas trip consultant who looks after all the details to make sure the trip is a totally unforgettable experience. We had many WhatsApp videos with her and she becomes part of your holiday experience. Iâd have no hesitation in recommending to my friends (actually have already done so!), and we hope to book another trip with H&J again in the future. Itâs definitely a Big Five (stars!) from us. Thank you H&J Team.

Excellent travel company
Excellent travel company. They listened carefully to what we wanted in our trip to Canada and they didnt disappoint. Whilst we were in Canada, we got caught up in Air Canadaâs strike. Our local representative did an amazing job in letting us know there was a problem early in the morning and what our options were in getting a flight home. They managed to find alternative flights and got us home. Disappointed that our holiday was cut short but at least we didnt get stuck for days trying to find flights home. My only issue with the company is that it is impossible to speak directly to managers when issues arise. Everything has to be directed through the local rep. Managers are very shy and seem to be afraid to talk to the customers directly preferring to hide behind their representatives making communication very difficult, particularly when there are big time differences due to the local reps location.

Dear John,
Thank you for your 5-star review and the detailed feedback on your holiday to Canada with Hayes & Jarvis. It is truly wonderful to know that you consider us to be an excellent travel company, and that your Trip Coordinator expertly provided alternatives when challenges arose.
I am genuinely sorry to hear about your difficulty in trying to get in touch with a manager. Your input on this matter is extremely valuable, and we will certainly use it to support our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.
I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to gain a clearer understanding of your overall experience. Please feel free to reach out to me at matthew.doidge@hayesandjarvis.co.uk to discuss this further.

A friendly expert to answer all your questions and offer a tailor made itinerary.
Carys joined us in a video call, initially for an hours discussion of our desire to visit Sri Lanka for the first time (at 70).
She sought details of our preferred holiday style then put together a two week tour, with a great variety of sightseeing, with enough time at each stop to avoid âliving out of a suitcaseâ. This was all tailored to our budget and done with just three months leeway, in high season.
She was very knowledgeable and quickly built up a friendly rapport.
