We were sold a holiday which wasn’t suitable for us so we had no choice but to cancel it and now we have to wait for a full refund without knowing how long we will have to wait for it!!
We should be refunded immediately as you took the full payment immediately!!
Hays Travel say 3 to 5 working days for our refund to complete!! That’s just not acceptable!! This was a Debit card payment which is cash instantly taken from our account so it should instantly be returned to our account!! There’s no acceptable reason on this planet why it should take that long except they want it to take that long for their own reasons!! We are waiting for this cash in order to book another option and it’s about time the government stopped companies from holding on to peoples cash in this way!! Again, I say, absolutely not acceptable!! Where is the protection for consumers in this country??
Hays Travel DID keep their promises so well done to them, our refund is complete!! Shame this whole situation occurred in the first place!!

Prompt attention to us as soon as we entered the store; focussed listening to our holiday destination choice; courtesy throughout the whole booking process. We have travelled through Hays Travel in the past and will do so again.

As usual Hays travel never disappoints for service. I already had an idea of my preferences and Morgan was so friendly answering my questions regarding cost of cruise, grade of staterooms, travel insurance, validity of my passport and coach travel arrangements. Following payment of deposit and travel insurance she printed off all relevant documentation and went through it all again in detail underlining holiday payment due date. I had asked about easy payment plan and she worked out monthly cost too so I’ve got options to consider. A very polite and knowledgeable member of the team. Thanks Morgan for all your help booking my 2027 cruise.

My wife and I were looking to book our honeymoon and the staff were excellent, so helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we got the best deal that suited our needs, took the time to make our transfers from airport to the resort smooth and easy. We're very pleased how fast and easy it was to get everything booked and we know we're in good hands. We can't wait to go away on our honeymoon!

The travel assistant went above and beyond beyond of what we hope for when booking . Morgan was professional and helpful at all times. Nothing was a problem for her and we found the holiday we wanted .

Have always used Hays travel. Kellie from Metro centre branch is my go to as she is extremely efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend her and Hays to friends and family. Amazing people skills.

We were greeted by a warm welcome from Joanne who was very helpful , she found a great holiday with every thing we asked for went through every thing to make sure we understood a big thankyou to her from us

Steph did it again!
Once again Steph looked at many hotels and resorts for us until she found us our ideal holiday. Nothing is too much bother and she is extremely pleasant and professional throughout.
She really understands everything we want and makes sure she checks absolutely everything until she knows we're completely happy.
