I bought a Chelsea model in oak which was advertised as being the top quality. As I received the item, there was a strong smell of chemicals. I called the seller who suggested the smell is some varnish applied by the manufacturer and would go in a week. My wife and I couldn’t sleep with that smell so I took the headboard downstairs to the garage to let the headboard degas. More than a week later it was still stinking as strong. I called the seller to arrange for a return within the return period. He argued the smell would go and I wouldn’t be able to “find a better headboard elsewhere”. Needless to say he wasn’t open to entertain the idea of a return, Several months have gone since and the headboard now resides in the garage in front of an old car until I find a solution to get rid of it. I’d rather sleep head against the wall than have that smell.

The headboard we bought was placed on Headboards UK, but actually made by a factory in the midlands. When it finally arrived it was encased in very substantial packaging. Making to order may well be the norm, and if so be prepared to wait around 5 weeks to finally receive the item. However, the Duchess head board we ordered, for a 4ft 6 inch bed, was well worth waiting for and the quality was exceptional. The colour is, as expected, a perfect match for the rest of the bedroom furniture.
Excellent communication from this company. Promised delivery was adhered to and the headboard is beautiful. I have no hesitation in recommending Headboards UK.
We purchased a crushed velvet and Swarovski Crystal headboard from this company 2 years ago.
There has been significant staining where my husband sleeps on the headboard, where his head rest
against it, my husband is bald, and does not wear any sort of cosmetics. I rang the company and explained my problems, the response from the customer service I spoke to, was that they have never had a problem with this fabric in the last six years and it was there most popular, however, although they have been using it they have now discontinued using this now, and therefore the problem that has developed was not a problem with the manufacturing or the material.
I did try several times to explain that we had picked this headboard which was advertised as very good quality and was expensive ( £825), and had believed that this would last a lot longer. However, the company kept repeating the same thing over and over again it was not their problem , they clearly do not take Customer service seriously, and are so unhelpful in trying to resolve customers problems .
I certainly will not be buying anything else from them and would not recommend this company.

Very positive experience. We ordered samples of the faux leather before ordering. We then chose and ordered the Helena Curved Headboard in dark brown faux leather.
4 to 5 weeks later Mike called to say it was ready for delivery which was arranged for the next day. The headboard arrived very well packaged with no damage and it’s exactly what we wanted.
We had no problem with the wait. We would definitely order from headboards uk again. Thank you.
I ordered a bespoke wall mounted Heritage leather headboard (made to measure) for our box room at home. I am a mild DIY fan at best so had lots of questions. Mike was brilliant - he sent us samples of the leather, advised us on how the headboard is mounted to the wall and kept us up to date with the order. The headboard arrived and looks excellent, it is solid and a perfect fit. Very happy.
We were able to call into Mike's workshop to view the product before ordering and get a sample of the woods available. We ordered a headboard made in the UK by Cotswold Caners. 8 week delivery quoted and it came within that time frame. Very well made, good craftmanship, it looks great. Very pleased to be able to buy British made goods.

I recently ordered a king sized grey faux leather headboard and am really delighted with it. The quality is fabulous and the protective packaging used for delivery was excellent.

I ordered the headboard that we wanted from the website. This is the only place you can get a white solid board in the design we want. I placed the order and paid on 25th March with an estimated delivery time of "4-5 weeks or sooner". At around 4 weeks I telephoned for an update but had to leave a message on the answerphone, requesting a call back. Not having received a call back I phoned a few days later and spoke with the sole proprietor who after a lot of paper rustling said he would call me back - which he did within 5 minutes. I then got a long explanation about the manufacturer etc etc. and was told it would be about a couple of weeks. (I was thinking he had forgotten to place the order). After 2 weeks I called again and got the same rambling explanation about the manufacturer and that it would be another two weeks. Eventually, the headboard arrived in the ninth week, which meant that we could at last move into our refurbished bedroom. My advice is if you can get it somewhere else, do so. If you can't, prepare for a long wait. Customer service is an anathema to this outfit.
Paid £19.99 for delivery with 3-5 days. Came within 72hrs. Had time slot via text. Came on time. Product as described. Good quality about 30% cheaper than nearest comparable product from other companies. Very pleased.
How do u get I touch with this company I ordered mid July & was told my order was delayed it's now 6th August & cant get an update on my order I've sent emails & tried to phone them but number on website is invalid getting worried now as I've paid a lot of money to them

I was fortunate enough to purchase a Brighton headboard from Headboards UK. From ordering to delivery I cannot praise too highly the service I received. Would not hesitate in recommending this firm. British made of brilliant craftsmanship and materials.
Like many I was dubious of buying online a high expensive item, I spoke to Jan the office manager who was truly refreshing to deal with couldn’t help enough. Once I received the samples through I ran over all the options with Jan and ordered 3 beds given the comfort of the service. I was updated with suitable delivery dates, Delivery was on time. I paid to have the beds put together, one of the helpful chaps worked in the workshop in case there was any issues on site. They too followed the polite and professional service received thus far. I am currently ordering fabric to match the bed so my curtains can be made to match.
Nothing has been too much trouble, I truly recommend the services and product they beds look fantastic and everyone asks where did we purchase from .... 5*

I rang to confirm availability of super kingsize headboard. My call was handled courteously and efficiently. I followed up with an online order. The headboard was dispatched the next working day with a delivery timescale of 2-3 working days. I was delighted to take delivery of the tracked item ONE day after dispatch. It had been carefully packed and protected, arriving in perfect condition. Additionally, the same item was available via other UK online stores at a higher price. So, for value, good service and speedy safe delivery, I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

not normal for us to review but the service from Headboards UK was a sheer delight from begging to end very personal service spoke to the same gentleman every time M**** and we got a up to date delivery time although it was a bit early and we were on holiday when it was ready to be delivered, but they held on to it and delivered it when we got home. Very good customer service and communication. Would recommend.

I am absolutely livid... Where is my order that was supposed to be Delivered within 3 days? I was then given a day it would be delivered by yourselves. Then i was to be called to be given a window. No such call my email stated it would be delivered Thursday 5-6th Nov 9-5pm. It is now Friday the 6th Nov 15min to 5 pm and I've not heard a word. No card, no message nothing. I waited in all day yesterday with no call. I'm so angry, this is a very busy weekend for us with the bonefire night and carnival. I expect my order ASAP and some sort of reinbursement/compensation for the run around. I do not want a discount for your store as I will not be using your services again after this. I would like money back or I will be reporting this to trading standards agency. This is unacceptable customer relations and services. Sort it out.
