Wheel repair
Took car in for new wheel and wheel hub, took 2 hrs and they managed to repair the wheel hub saving me ££. Very polite, efficient and genuine people :)

Quick and easy
Quick and easy. Reasonable prices I think. Very helpful, even put my spare wheel back under the van even though it wasn't one of the tyres they replaced.

Good job overall. Took a little longer than expected and tyre was over inflated which I corrected at home.

Automated response stated I would be contacted to confirm which of the dates would be suitable.
Heard nothing for 4 days so I rang. I was told there was a note on the booking that I had been advised neither of those dates were available. Nobody had rung or left a message.

Dear Mr Howell
Thank you for your review of your experience at our Hedge End site, and we're sorry to hear you experienced an issue.
The Centre has looked into this to try and understand a little better how they can improve next time. According to your review, you mention your booking on the 18th October but the Centre can only see a booking made for tyres in September. They assume that would be the one as it shows as 'customer cancelled' on the booking.
HiQ Hedge End are not quite sure what happened here as the booking was made on the 25th September for fitting on the 27th. All of the Centre's tyres are fitted on a while you wait system so there shouldn't have been a reason to say they didn't have any availability, unless they were unable to source those tyres in the time frame requested (which is very rare). The Centre states that they can get almost any tyre within 24 hours (worst case scenario) so this one seems strange. The process Hedge End follows is that when the order is received, they order the tyres for the date requested and update your booking via a text. A second text is also sent when the tyres arrive on site and confirms your booking. They're hopeful we have your correct mobile number, but maybe this is where the issue may lie.
When you called to chase the booking, you should have been advised that they offer a while you wait service and offered to drop in later that day or the next morning, whichever was convenient. If this didn't happen, they can only apologise. The Centre have spoken to the team today to reiterate our customer service levels need to be at the top of our expectations, just in case we see a similar situation to what you have described in your review.
Please accept the Centre's apologies again, and we do hope this doesn't deter you from visiting again should you need us for anything.
