Great customer service! Took great care of my problem and made it right!

I despair of ever being helped
Bought a plane which failed on first (soft grass) landing tried to get a refund no joy was offered parts free but these have never arrived - £200 totally wasted and no recourse through any means - Paypal protection also totally useless
Initially acknowledged parts ordered but now my claim has been cancelled
I am hoping this review might achieve some action

I ordered a plane and tried to cancel, but the cancellation wasn’t accepted. I returned it immediately, yet it took six weeks and several reminders to get my refund — and I still haven’t received the shipping costs back.

Very poor customer service. I won’t order from Hobby King again unless there’s absolutely no other option.

Ho comprato da loro un aereo blixer e tutto l'occorrente per volare radio batterie caricabatterie.
Durante il primo volo l'aereo è andato in fuori radio e da solo ha dato comando a picchiare e ho distrutto tutto l'aereo.
La radio era una turnigy veramente roba di poco valore ho buttato via 180 euro....
La garanzia chi la fa?
Ovviamente nessuno.....

Hobbyking est injoignable: essayez le chat, il est inaccessible, envoyez un mail, vous n'aurez pas de réponse, chercher un N° de tel, il n'y en a pas.

Metto una stella perché meno non si può sono anni che compro da loro e ben quattro volte ho ricevuto pezzi rotti e bruciati infine ultimo acquisto che è in super ritardo contatto più volte l’assistenza e mi scrivono che hanno problemi che non sanno cosa fare offrono solo sconti e coupon ma alla fine i problemi rimangono inoltre e due giorni che cerco di avere un contatto con qualche responsabile che non si degna di scrivermi sebbene mi era stato promesso che sarei stato ricontattato intanto sono ben 10 giorni che loro hanno preso i miei soldi dalla carta e ho non ho ancora in mano nulla quando scrivono spedizioni in 4/7 giorni lavorativi.
Che dire pessima azienda pessima assistenza e anche se i prodotti sono buoni la merce arriva sempre rotta o in ritardo !!!!!!

A finales de Marzo de 2025 compre un avión pnf ready to fly voltigeur lo recibí a los 10 días de comprarlo hasta ahí todo bien.
Me pillo que tuve que marcharme fuera por motivos laborales y hasta hace un mes que volví a mi domicilio no pude empezar con el montaje de mi nuevo avión, cual fue mi sorpresa que cuando abrí la caja para montarlo las dos semialas venían de la misma mano lado izquierdo y que faltaba dentro de la caja la varilla de carbono para poder montar el estabilizador horizontal un desastre.
Entiendo que han pasado 6 meses después de la compra pero ellos dan 1 año de garantía en su tienda online, pues bien ya han pasado mas de tres semanas y no me dan ningún tipo de solución es mas no tan siquiera se dignan a contestarme, soy miembro platinum de su tienda y llevo comprando en esta tienda desde hace mas de 20 años de cuando se llamaban United Hobbies pero dudo mucho que siga confiando en ellos porque me han tratado muy mal y no me dan ningún tipo de soslución, si compras en esta tienda si te sale bien no tendrás problema alguno pero como te salga mal estarás totalmente desamparado NO RECOMIENDO QUE SE COMPRE EN ESTA TIENDA YA QUE SU SERVICIO POTS VENTA DEJA MUCHO QUE DESEAR.

Motors they recommend aren't and haven't been in stock, two of the China junk planes are bad quality.. when I'm stock the batteries and servos are ok...

I placed an order for three lipo batteries that seem to have been lost in transit. I have been in communication with HobbyKing for over two months and they have just kept me waiting and waiting while I am out of pocket over £100

Shocking customer service!!!

My return went as promised. My only issue was that instead of getting a refund on the shipping cost they gave me a credit vs. $$

Everything I have ever purchased worked great. Very good battery selection in addition to RC planes. Very good cutomer support as well.

J'avais de gros doutes sur ce site, je voulais faire l'acquisition d'un RC chez eux, mais mon Fils en a un très mauvais souvenir, après concertation des avis, je préfère ne rien commander et aller voir chez des revendeurs plus sérieux !

Stand 2025 kann man Hobbyking getrost vergessen.

Das war mal vor 10Jahren alles anders. Da hat man tonnenweise Zeug bestellt, wusste ganz klar welche Qualität es hat, aber die Qualität hat zum Preis gestimmt. Damals wurden auch noch LiPo Akkus ohne großen Stress aus China geliefert.

Stand heute: nicht einmal Hobbyking weiss mit welchem Logistiker sie die Akkus verschicken können. Der Shop ist so undurchsichtig, dass mir vor einer Woche direkt die Alarmglocken hätten leuten müssen.

Die Bestellung inkl. Akkus hing aus unbekannten Gründen fest und konnte nicht ausgeführt werden. Lagerbestände hatten gepasst aber ich konnte kein Versandunternehmen auswählen.

Dann hab ich die Akkus aus der Bestellung genommen und alle Waren auf EU-Warehouse abgeändert. Siehe da es konnte ein Versand mit GLS angeboten werden.

Bestellung ausgeführt und auf einmal der Knaller:
EU Warehouse = UK
Super, dann kann ich ja direkt in China für 20% weniger bestellen oder hätte die Bestellung bewusst auf unter 150€ gesetzt um wenigstens den Zoll zu sparen.

Dann ist man nicht in der Lage mir klar eine Tracking ID zu geben, die die das System mir nennt hängt seit Wochen mit dem Hinweis "Versand angemeldet, Ware nicht übergeben" fest.

Klar, den Betreibern aus dem Fernost kanns egal sein. Für die ist EU=Europa=UK ... mir nicht.

Naja war eine bittere Lektion, dass sich die Zeiten eben geändert haben.

Bestell ich mein Zeug halt eben für 20-40% mehr über Amazon oder deutsche Onlineshops. Spart mir eine Menge stress.

Ware am 3.8. bestellt, sollte am 7.8. geliefert werden, mein Sohn hatte hier Geburtstag. bis heute, 15.08. keine Lieferung und vom Support 0 Reaktion!
