Whilst I did not stay at Holiday Inn Offenbach, I have to give some high praise for the outstanding customer care provided by their Guest Service Team, in particular Jessie Fisher, Eric Einschütz and Yannick Fournell. They had to deal with various administrative difficulties: they helped me to book a room for my elderly mother (who does not have a credit card) with my own card from abroad. The booking was tied to a court appointment my mother had to attend in Offenbach, which was postponed multiple times and then eventually cancelled. The Holiday Inn Team patiently changed the booking multiple times, and upon cancellation helped me with a refund. Unfortunately the card the booking was made with was not valid anymore, which caused additional complications. The Guest Service Team resolved all issues efficiently and with prompt and very friendly communication. Many thanks again!

I have been coming to the hotel for long and both staffs go extra mile in doing their jobs. They are both an asset to IHG.

Holiday Inn Fareham. 15 January 2024. Everything seemed alright until I woke up for a shower and found strange bugs scurrying around in the bathroom, on the floor and in the bathtub. This hotel clearly needs fumigating and should not be renting rooms out in this state. Will never use this one again. Have not received a refund and fobbed off, despite asking for refund and getting name of night manager and hand written note too. Have photos to upload if possible here.

New Year’s Eve 2023. Absolutely the best we have beeb to .Pre drinks and canapés. Followed by 4 courses pre booked from a good choice menu. Plus tea/coffee and a tray of after dinner chocolates. Very accommodating with allergies ect
The DJ was more than excellent . He got to know everyone before we went for dinner and therefore the dance floor was packed. Then more food at 2.00.
Definitely booking for this year. A big THANK YOU to John and all the team at Wakefield junction 40 for accommodating the crowd from Roundwood Road. Look forward to seeing you again

The service from all the ladies on display, whether on reception, the bar or restaurant has been exemplary. I have deliberately waited to post this review as was waiting to see if the standard slipped, but no it didn’t. Absolutely faultless. A big thank you, and a special mention to Lucy Smith. My first experience staying at a Holiday Inn was 5 days over Christmas at the Holiday Inn North just outside Norwich airport. Altho next to the airport there was no noise and the hotel had a very relaxed restful atmosphere. I was part of a coach party (Skill's) and we were incredibly well looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The cleanliness all around the hotel was noticeable and as there were one or two disabled guests it enabled us to see how caring the staff were. Full marks to all the staff from the kitchen and laundry to the front of house.

Parking scam all across the UK. I Stayed at Holiday Inn in Filton, Bristol. The hotel and it's services are good, breakfast was average -

BUT Unfortunately like most of the Holiday Inn across the country they have partnered with a parking scam company called Parkmaven. Parkmaven has horrible reviews online (mostly ZERO) and I think a reputed company like Holiday Inn must break the alliance with Parkmaven or change the way they charge for the parking. Also the staff at reception are not helpful in this matter. The signs are not obvious, the whole system is designed to dupe people in to getting a PCN, and the receptionist will not tell you or remind you how to pay for parking despite registering the vehicle reg number at the reception.

Holiday inn Rotherham went last night for aldis Christmas party best night ever, food came on hot plates the staff were amazing, DJ tried to play all requests compare was his usual charming self, will be booking for next year for definitely

Absolutely terrible service, took money for a free cancellation night and now having to chase many different departments for over a month.

Holiday inn, Guin Alabama. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, brilliant staff, very helpful. The food was very good. Would highly recommend this venue

Being put in a joining room next to strangers, its very noisy and an uncomfortable experience, I was not warned or asked as I would have not agreed to this. Mediocre rooms nothing to enjoy about them and rusty shower heads

Holiday Inn - Glasgow Airport. First the good- great location, food was good, cleanliness also good. Unfortunately let down by several points- AC not working on hot day of the year and maint had gone home. Clearly, ongoing issue, as fan in the room (with non opening windows). Still 80+ degrees. Also, TV was non functional, even after power off/on reset. Phoned reception to be told no spare rooms and “we’re sorry” was only mitigation. Final straw, down for dinner to be told restaurant fully booked, eat in bar - which was fine, but tables covered with dirty dishes & glasses uncleared due to busy bar staff. For expensive hotel, need to try harder to please your guests and at least offer something other than apologies.

Very poor service….bathroom with mould and door is not closing properly.Lots of spiders in room with filthy air conditioner.When you turn on…only dust is coming…I will inform the authority.It’s a scam….pay money for rubbish location.Room very poor clean.For every word I will provide photos.Avoid even is for free….

This is the letter i sent to many of their team, in fact all the email addresses i could find on IGH /Holiday inn websites.

Dear Sir / Madam

My Name is Jayesh Patel and this is regarding an ongoing issue with my reservation 67788359 which never been answered by any of your staff on number of occasions that I called in including Ipswich hotel as well as Guest Relationship team.
Issue is that I did make a mistake of booking to wrong hotel (Ipswich) instead of Norwich (Ipswich road) on 18th July at 7:07pm for stay on 27th to 31st July.
As soon as I did reservations and receive confirmation email and I realised that I made a wrong booking, I made a call to 0800 028 5880 and explained the whole situation as what happened and requested to cancel the reservation, the lady on the phone was helpful and she tried to call Ipswich hotel to make the cancellation done but she was unsuccessful to get through after about 20 minutes she tried, she said she is going to make 24 reservation for the Norwich hotel that I aim to stay at and asked me to call the Ipswich hotel after 1pm next day. Next day, I did call to Ipswich hotel after couple of transfers I did reach to the right person (I thought), his name is Ace and he said he has cancelled the reservation but 1 night cancellation charge that he will try to refund and will call me back in next 24 hours about the refund. I did wait 24 hours, in fact 48 hours but I did not get any call from him or his team and when I checked on your website I saw my reservation is still showing active and not cancelled. I made few calls on 21st July and could not get through to anyone but Meeting room team who tried to help me but they couldn’t as they could not get through the reservation team or Guest relationship team, a lady asked me to call back in after 1pm which I did but I still couldn’t speak to anyone, in fact once I did go through reception desk who rudely put phone down on me as he was busy and he didn’t have answer for me. I did not know what to do as I have made so many calls and not getting any answered, I made booking for my Norwich hotel which I meant to stay at and got busy with getting packing done and stuff done. On 27th I saw on my credit card app that Ipswich hotel has charged me full amount of stay £490.92 and I was shocked and felt so helpless, angry and robbed. i was already on my holiday in Norwich, on 28th at Yarmouth beach what I did was called again on 0333 320 9330 to get to bottom of this, after few transfers I did get through Guest relationship team, her name wa Allie (she said). I spent more than an hour and she could not get through Ipswich hotel for cancellation again (unbelievable), on the beach I was on phone with her, so annoyed and angry. She said she will give me call after all the investigation done, she gave me case number 10526116953. Here is the screen shot of the call history on my mobile.


It has been 3 workings days already and I have still not heard anything from her or her team.
I do not know what to say and do but this has been most horrendous experience I have ever had and still my £390.92 hanging. Please can somebody please, please investigate this and get back to me and refund my full money?

I still haven't received anything, contacted them again many times and they know nothing about it. my screenshot are not here as you can copy/paste here.

They have in fact removed my reservation report, so i can not make complain through their customer care portal.

I lost almost £400.

Just advising you to not book with them at all.

I see your ad on TV is focused on every ethnicity except the white male,well guess what I'm a White male and you can shove your cheap racist crap hotels right up your racist backsides

The Holiday Inn in Virginia Beach was HORRIBLE! The room smelled old and musty and the carpet was disgusting! The bathroom was barely OK. NEVER AGAIN!!!! Oh and the breakfast was nasty as hell. YUCK! I’m done with Holiday Inn! 😡

The motel was under renovations they charged 220 a night worst room ever , mild in the bathroom the door would not shut properly, I wish I could share pics wallpaper peeling off the walls worst experience ever !!!! We told the manager no respond not even try to make it better not a happy costumer!!
