I would strongly advise not staying…

I would strongly advise not staying here!

We checked in at the Holiday Inn at Glasgow Airport ( we booked car parking and a night’s stay through Holiday Extras)in the early hours of the morning only to be told that check in was from 2pm so they didn’t have a booking for us on the day we arrived and were advised we should’ve booked for the day before even though we arrived on the correct day…… weird! Staff very unhelpful, admitted this issue had happened before but weren’t able to swap the booking as they had no authority to do so and the Holiday Extras office closed at 8pm.
We ended up having to pay £84 for another room which ended up being unacceptable. In the morning we noticed that the bathroom was very substandard, hairs sticking on the tiles, holes in the grout, rusty bin in the bathroom, scum around the bath and dirt on the walls behind the shower…….which meant we were unable to use it!
On asking reception to contact Holiday Extras in the morning to try and rectify the double payment the reply we were met with was, “ it’s not our problem, you’ll need to take it up with them yourself “….very poor customer service! Breakfast was another let down….very poor quality! The £24 breakfast reduction for the state of the room was a disgrace….a full refund should’ve been given and I would’ve fought harder for a full refund had I known that neither Holiday Extras or Holiday Inn were going to refund me for my second room payment.
Holiday Extras have taken since the 10th April to decide that no refund is being offered for the remaining balance as the date discrepancy sits with the booking rather than them and the Holiday Inn won’t refund the money as it wasn’t cancelled in line with their cancellation policy!!!!

My advice is Avoid, Avoid, Avoid both businesses at all cost!

The Holiday Inn Lancaster uk

The Holiday Inn Lancaster uk is nothing like all the nice pictures advertised on Expedia. The corridors are painted in battleship Grey, as well as the carpets. The food is low quality and way over priced. The night desk manager was very rude to me when I asked if there were any vending machines to purchase a drink, but was told no there weren't any. The only place to get a drink was the bathroom sink. Oh speaking of which. My wife was on the loo and noticed black mold running along the sealant connecting the counter top to the sink basin. This was disgusting and dangerous to our respiratory system since we both suffer from asthma. Then there awas the abundance of flies in the room. My wife spent alot of time squatting them. I raised my concern with duty manager, she was willing to relocate us to another room and offered 2 x drink vouchers for the inconvenience "great", but we don't drink alcohol. All in all i rate this hotel with a zero.

I would strongly caution anyone…

I would strongly caution anyone considering a timeshare with Holiday Inn to think twice before signing anything. What initially seems like a great vacation opportunity quickly turns into a frustrating and stressful experience.

Communication has been extremely poor—getting clear answers about account status or ending services feels nearly impossible. Despite repeated attempts to resolve issues, I continue receiving bills and statements without any meaningful response or resolution. It feels like once you’re locked in, customer support becomes very difficult to deal with.

The entire process has been far more complicated and drawn out than it should be, and there’s a serious lack of transparency. What was presented during the sales pitch does not match the reality of trying to manage or exit the agreement.

Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend entering into a timeshare agreement with this company.

Sucky stay

They put us in a room that the air conditioning was on the Fritz and the ice machine was right outside our door, the bathroom had blood splashed on two walls, one of the bed spreads had blood on it, the tub had so much hair in the drain that it wouldn’t drain and the person at the desk during the day had a snide attitude. They refused to move us to another room saying that they were booked up but a house keeper inform us that they weren’t. 😖

Totalt crazy

Totalt crazy. We are sitting in the lobby at 2:12 in the nicht waiting fore our room. We cant get it as their system is resetting each nicht. So we have to Wait to the system been reset. Welcome to it systems 1930.

Nope, I wouldn't.....

We stayed for 1 night at The Holiday Inn and Gunwharf Quays. Whilst check in was easy, and the staff were very accommodating, I would not recommend staying here. The hotel room is extremely dated. We stayed in room 318 and it was if the bed was man made! We both slid into the middle of the bed, and it creaked with a slight move. Both of us hurt from head to toe in the morning (with only an hour or so sleep). I made a complaint to the person on reception who simply said "sorry about that" and moved onto other matters. I have written a complaint email, no response and have also tried to follow a complaint process with IHG. Both emails came back as failed delivery. When you pay £117 for one night you expect a level of service and a decent room. They were lucky to receive 2 stars and that is only because of the night staff and breakfast staff!!

Fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Telford

Fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Telford, able to check in early, and the hotel has nearly finished a very nice refurbishment .
Staff helpful and friendly.
Brilliant breakfast.
Plenty of free parking on site.
Short walk to shopping centre , and with good eating places nearby.

Yesterday

Yesterday, a cockroach appeared in my room—Room Number 520—at the Holiday Inn Lucknow. Despite my complaints, no staff member came to inspect the room. Furthermore, when I requested water for the room, it took an hour to arrive; I had to call them four times before it was finally delivered. Their service is extremely poor.

I have had a very frustrating…

I have had a very frustrating experience with Holiday Inn Club Vacations and their timeshare program. What initially seemed like a good opportunity has turned into a huge financial burden for my family.

When we realized the timeshare was no longer something we could afford or wanted to continue, we reached out to ask about options for ending the agreement. Unfortunately, the company has been very unhelpful throughout the process. Getting clear answers has been difficult, and we have not received much support in trying to resolve the situation.

Timeshares are a major financial commitment, and it is disappointing that there is little assistance available for customers who need to get out due to financial or personal circumstances. I hope the company improves how they handle situations like this in the future and offers better support to their customers.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering a timeshare to fully understand the long-term financial responsibility before signing.

Holiday hotel Harlow what a joke staff can't even talk to you I'd rather fighting the police

Staff have known knowledge of the area they are clueless to what they're actually serving to the customers are the small problem with a machine for soft drinks and it's backs that took five pounds of change oft of me me I found the machine three or four times just to retrieve my change and the staff come over instead of helping called the police what I joke I was shall be putting this on my blog so future reference of void it's a it's a joke

Disappointed in Holiday Inn

We have had a very disappointing experience with Holiday Inn's timeshare services. Customer support has not been helpful and has only offered resolutions we cannot accept. We have ceased paying for something we have chosen not to use and it has wrecked our credit. Asking for the cost to get out of our commitment has only been met with non-acceptable terms.
In total, our experience has caused mental anguish and frustration and we would not recommend their services to others. Hopefully in the future their customer care might have a heart to understand the plight of older buyers who made a mistake and offer reasonable solutions for the good of both the customers and Holiday Inn timeshare membership..

Prima kamer, maar het boekingsproces was vreselijk

De kamer en het ontbijt waren helemaal prima, maar het reserveren ging zeer stroef. het duurde heel lang om te boeken (terwijl we al bijna gearriveerd waren in het hotel), ik moest aan een Amerikaanse mevrouw veel Nederlandse info spellen, wat moeizaam ging, en zodra ze iets opzocht, ging ik in een soort wachtstand waarbij je dan nooit wist of ze je nog hoorde, of de call nog in stand was en of ze dus nog terugkwam. zeer irritant. Het boeken was een vreselijke user experience. Bovendien een hotel met verborgen kosten, 9 euro parkeerkosten terwijl ze voor de deur helemaal genoeg ruimte hebben ! ook slechte user experience..

We wanted to stay at the Holiday Inn…

We wanted to stay at the Holiday Inn Eindhoven airport. It was overbooked so we had to go to another hotel. We pre paid so they still deducted the amount of our credit card and refuse to provide a refund. Stay away from this hotel as it is acting fraudulent! They were also very unfriendly when they informed us that they were overbooked!

I had a terrible experience with this…

I had a terrible experience with this timeshare company and would strongly recommend staying away.

Since purchasing the timeshare, everything has been stressful and frustrating. The maintenance fees kept increasing, booking vacations was extremely difficult, and many of the benefits that were originally promised either changed or were not available when we tried to use them. Customer service was also very disappointing — getting clear answers or real help felt nearly impossible.

What was supposed to be a fun way to travel turned into a financial burden and constant headache. I regret purchasing and would never recommend this program to anyone.

Save yourself the stress and avoid this timeshare company.

Parlons en de votre hospitalité ! Ma petite fille bloquée à New York à cause de la tempête de neige a pris une chambre dans un de vos hôtels. Jusque la tout va bien, 200 dollars la nuit. Au matin de la première nuit on l’avertit que compte tenu de la demande le prix de la chambre est passée à 500 dollars la nuit! C’est quoi cette attitude de voleur, de profiteur ! Elle est jeune et a quitté votre hôtel sans réclamation et pendant la tempête de neige. Vous auriez eu affaire à moi, j’aurais fait un scandale ! C’est honteux ces comportements. Sachez que le papa de ma petite fille possède un agence de voyage et que c’est fini, il ne recommandera plus votre hôtel à ses clients. Votre attitude est identique à celle de voyous. Messieurs, mesdames, attention à cette société !

I had a booking at Premier Inn and paid…

I had a booking at Premier Inn and paid the highest rate just to ensure that I could cancel if needed. However, I found out that cancellation was not allowed. When I called customer service, I was connected with someone in India, and it was difficult to understand her accent. She was also quite rude and impolite.

I was informed that I should have cancelled by 1 p.m., which is two hours before the 3 p.m. check-in. I attempted to cancel at 2:10 p.m., but the system wouldn't allow it. After that, I called customer service for assistance, but they were not helpful at all. The representative even suggested a different rate, a standard one, instead of helping me book the same rate I had already paid. This would have resulted in a loss of money on my part.

In the end, we lost £100, but Premier Inn lost a customer forever.
