My parents were suppose to fly on 2nd Oct through their airline but, were not allowed to do so on medical grounds which was incorrect. They could fly with another airline. I am waiting for refund for a month now and it is completely unacceptable. I have been calling their support Center for a month now and every time they ask me to wait for 10 days and that refund did not happen due to technical glitch. I am fed up and completely irritated by this delay and lame excuse. Horrible airline and horrible experience:(
Appalling Customer Service
Offered me no help at all after an unfortunate visa incident has left me stranded in an airport I am unfamiliar with. I understand the company policies but sometimes these companies must be open to flexibility, given that I am stranded between cities, with no money and no means of getting home. I am being sent in circles between them and the agency and no reasonable solution is being offered - despite spending over â¬1,400 with them and the agency, it's a joke really.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. I arrived at Mumbai airport this morning to find Jet had overbooked and my business class seat was not available. I asked to transfer to the next flight to Singapore departing 2 hours later with Sing airlines. The representative told me they had tried that but business class was fully booked. I rang my travel agent who told me business class seats on that flight were available. I asked jet again to change me to the Singapore flight. This time they pretended to walk across to the Singapore desk and said it was closed )sheer lies). I bought myself a new ticket on Singapore and cancelled the Jet flight - at a high personal cost.
When I boarded the flight there were at least 8 free business class seats, so clear that Jet just didnât want to bear the cost of transferring me. I will never ever travel with them again.

I have been trying to get an answer âŠ
I have been trying to get an answer about the amount of baggage allowance for an international flight to Delhi from Heathrow , and for 3 internal flights in India, all week .
The web site is rather confusing, so in order to get the right information, I thought that I would contact Jet airways as I have heard they are very strict about baggage weight.
I have given them the flight numbers, dates and times, but I am still waiting for the information.
After looking at the reviews,not looking forward to the flights.
Forgettable Experience
I travelled on Jet Airways 9W118 from Mumbai to Heathrow on the 13th of Sept 2018
The flight was a very pleasant one but the infighting service a terrible experience
The flight left 12.50 local time and it was well after 2.40 that we were served meals. Tea (if you can call it that came a good 4hrs later. I understand Jet is cost cutting but on case one is suffering from diabetes and require meals at reqular intervals it is a nightmare !
The flight attendant Amanda was very rude and did not attend to us even after repeated buzzes !
.Headphones didn't work and the toilets were not clean Used to be a regular Jet traveller but seriously doubt I will do so again.!!!!!

Avoid JetAirways!
Very bad experience with JetAirways.
We had booked a trip through Expedia, from Denmark to Toronto with a transfer in Amsterdam. All flights were handled by JetAirways.
Due to some issues with our papers, we were unable to get on the plane from Amsterdam to Toronto until 20 minutes after. We thought that we would just find another plane and be done with it, but we thought wrong. According to JetAirways, ALL of our other flights would be cancelled as well, unless we booked a new flight through JetAirways AND pay a 900 EUR fine. This would total a minimum 2600 EUR, which is completely outrageous since the trip originally cost 2200 EUR including hotel and everything.
If they would have just let us keep the remaining flights which were payed for, there wouldn't have been a problem, but instead we were stranded in Amsterdam for 10 hours before heading back home to Denmark by bus.
Besides that, the customer service was awful. We called 3 different offices and were told that they coudn't do anything and that the flights were cancelled without refund...

I recently booked a couple of tickets for my elderly parents from London Heathrow to Baroda .I booked this particular flight so there is minimum Transit at Mumbai.
Received a text 4 hours before the flight that Due to Operational Issues flight has been cancelled and rescheduled . Contact numbers given were for INDIA, the connecting flight from Mumbai to Baroda has over 4 hours Transit period.
No news on Compensation or offer of anything else.
I will leave the readers to make a Judgement.
Children with allergies - Avoid at all cost
Flew London to Mumbai and back. Informed the airline about my sons nut allergies and requested European meal. Onward, not honoured. Air hostesses went out of the way to get a meal from first class. She advised that I call for return leg to avoid repetition.
On return leg, called twice, offered to buy meal at airport even and finally checked at check in. Was told itâs sorted. No non-Indian meal again. Air Hostess again arranged for meal from first class.
Whilst taking the incident report I told her how emirates and BA (our preferred a/line) do it. She actually said to me, itbwill take airlines like theirs a few decades to reach that level of professionalism.
One day they are going to have a mid-air incident when some poor kid asphyxiates. I really really hope this does not happen.
Be warned.
My wife and 1 year old son were seated separate from me and my 4 year old daughter. To top it off some dirty guy was sitting next to my wife and breathing over my son. In the end my wife sat in daughter's seat whilst both kids sat in our laps. So we were made to pay for a seat that we never used. Will never use this dirty airline again. I hope u do go under as u got no respect for the basics. Bunch of idiots.
Very unfriendly seating policy
We family of 4(2 adults + 1 child and an infant) and travelling from London to Bangalore with Jet airways.
We have been allotted a bassinet seat for me as I am travelling with infant, but there is no option to get the other family members seated next to each other.
These days Jet airways have amended their seating policy, they charge for seat selection on international flights. Even after paying a good money, they cannot guarantee to have the family seated together.
If family with children seated apart then it is an inconvenience for us and other passengers too.
I flew with Jet airways many time and never faced any issues, this has made me to buy ticket from them straightaway.
But introducing such stupid policies will impact their reputation very badly!! Please be aware of these guys.
WORST AIRLINE EVER!!!!
This airline is without a doubt, the WORST airline I have ever travelled with. Absolutely awful customer service. Both my wife and I got sick from the food. We had a quick connection getting on our flight home and we asked the staff if our luggage had made it on the flight - which they confirmed it did - only to find out our luggage did not make the flight with us. We waited in our arrival city for almost an hour before they actually figured out our luggage was lost. They offered us absolutely nothing in terms of compensation for the lost luggage and toiletries we would have to replace. We had to email to ask for compensation - which put us in an endless loop of emails that we can only assume are being responded to by some sort of robot. It is now 3 months after returning, we still donât have any compensation from them, and they are even pretending like they donât even have record of previous correspondence. If you value your sanity, donât ever travel this airline. Save a little extra money and travel with an airline that actually values its customers. If anything goes wrong, you will never be taken care of.
Never had such a terrible customer service
Flying from London to Mumbai, there was an overbooking, and they were looking for volunteers willing to leave on a later flight in exchange for a compensation. This problem turned into a blessing for me, since I was leaving for a long holiday and was not short of time, but it could have been an incredible nuisance. But, from the start, Jetairways presents itself as an airline with inconveniences.
The real problem started on the way back. I was due to fly from Kathmandu to Delhi on Wedensday 2nd May, on the 09.55 flight, on the 9W263, and then i had only one hour connection before boarding the VS301 at 12.55 from Delhi to London.
The problem started in Kathmandu, where without any explanations we left with around 50 minutes delay. As a consequence of this, once we arrived near Delhi, we were not given the clearance to land as there were other flights scheduled to land at that time. As we couldn't fly for too long waiting for the clearance, given that the fuel was about to finish, we were diverted to Jaipur, where we waited for more than an hour, on the planbe, finally returning back to Delhi at 3 pm. By this time we had only been given the usual light breakfast on the flight, and nothing else.
On arriving in Delhi, Jetairways personnel took me and the other people directed to London to the transfer area, and they gave us a sandwich and a small bottle of 200 ml of water. It was 3.30 pm. In the transfer area there is a tiny bar that only accepts rupees, and none of us had them, as we were not supposed to stop in Delhi for long, and we couldn't go out the transfer area to change any money. The Jetairways representative, Anuj, didn't give us any news whatsoever on what was happening, always remaining quite vague. I asked what form of compensation they would have provided us for this problem, and he rudely answered that there was NOT going to be any compensation, that it was not a Jetairways problem if Delhi airport had not given them clearance. I told him, and I repeat it here, that not getting clearance was a CONSEQUENCE OF Jetairways delays in leaving, so the problem started with their unexplained delay. He then said that it was not Jetairways problem if there had been bad weather in Delhi, and it was the first time I heard this excuse, at around 5.30 pm. Nobody had mentioned bad weather until then, and when we were above Delhi it was around 11.30 am, and there were no signs whatsoever of storms or bad weather in general, so I told him that I didn't accept this explanations either.
At 6 pm I started being thirsty, and asked for some water, and I was told to go and drink it from the fountain near the toilet. Having had 3 bouts of diarrhea in my month in India, I don't trust Indian water anymore, and I told him. He didn't even reply. There was a lady working with him and she also didn't offer any help.
At 7.30 pm I asked for some food and again something to drink, and he mumbled that we first had to get the boarding passes and then we could go to a restaurant. But the boarding passes were going to be obtained only 3 hrs before our possible departure, so at around 10 pm. This means that at 7.30 pm we still had no idea IF and AT WHAT TIME WE WERE GOING BACK HOME.
I told Anuj that I was too hungry and they couldn't let us wait until 10 pm to eat, after providing us with a small sandwich at 3.30pm.... I was begging for food, and that is already inhuman, but what is worst is that he kept saying he couldn't do anything. In the end, a man who was there at the transfer area and saw me crying for the frustration bought me a tea and a slice of cake. I had to rely on a stranger's kindness because Jetairways completely left us down and seemed NOT TO CARE ABOUT US IN THE SLIGHTEST.
Then, Anyj and the lady left together, giving no explanations and staying away for more than an hour, taking the lack of care to a totally new level. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE. THEY HAVE AROUND 15 PEOPLE WAITING TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN WITH THEM, AND THERE IS NO ONE TO TELL US ANYTHING OR TO GIVE US ANY FOOD? Absolutely ridiculous, totally unprofessional, unacceptable and inhuman! WHERE IS JETAIWAYS DUTY OF CARE? They have a legal obligation, if not a moral one, to ensure the wellbeing of their clients!
I went back several times, joined by the other customers, asking to the personnel of Air India, who was there, to call a General Manager or someone to talk to. Around 9pm, Gagan Deep Bhagria from Jetaiways arrived, and it's easy to understand how he had to deal with a bunch of people who by then were really angry for the total lack of DUTY OF CARE THAT JETAIRWAYS SHOWED FOR US. We inquired about the food, and he said that it was on its way.
We eventually got our dinner at 10pm (with no cutlery), and at 10.30pm I was personally finally told on which flight i was going to be (BA142, Delhi-London, leaving at 01.50 am on May 3rd) while other people have been less lucky than me and didn't have any news still by the time i was taken to the boarding gate.
Finally, to finish the whole disaster, i was shown a photo of my luggage taken from the Kathmandu flight and put on the British Airways one, to confirm that they had taken the right luggage, and i discovered that they had lost my rucksack cover.
In conclusion: 13 hrs delay, they lost my rucksack cover, and they did not provide us with any food or water for 7 hours.
To finish it off, they refuse any compensation. Let alone for the missed work on the day after (400£ for me), at least refund me for the lost item!

Overall not bad really , BUT the seats in the economy section are appalling. Sooooo uncomfortable on ones bum !
No seriously, they are not good and after 2 hrs into a 9 hr flight itâs like sitting on park bench.
So take heed folks, take a cushion or two but thatâs not the answer really , is it ?
Worst Flight and Baggage Experience
This is the worst airlines that you can ever fly. First they cancelled a flight at Amsterdam and then got almost 200 odd passengers stranded in the airport with no exit visas or hotel rooms booked for anyone. People were stranded for almost 14 hours without any food, alternate flights or rooms to stay at. Finally they re routed me to Mumbai instead of Bangalore but as i expected the missed my baggage. It has been 5 whole days now since i landed and their customer service has no clue as to where my bag is. I have been calling them since the last three days and they give me the same story as to it is out for delivery. This is just ridiculous as these people don't seem to understand the importance of your luggage. Please do not book your tickets with these people because they wont be responsible for anything that belongs to you

through the scanner 3 or 4 times because of some coin hiding in some corner gave me the inkling that I'm gonna miss the flight.Carrying a hand baggage and a heavy purse I was galloping with a heavy breath walking down the 4 kms. to reach my gate.Upon reaching the gate,I got the shock...the flight has left though acc.to my watch ,I was 20 mins before the flight time.As I was thinking what to do,two God send people named...Neha Sachdeva and Rahul Saxena acted quick to make arrangements for me on another flight within 10 minutes,I'm grateful to them till this day,from the bottom of my heart.God bless the two kids with all that they aspire for.This is what airlines should do instead of landing in arguments.I appreciate Jet Airways and its employees for rendering great service .
Budget Airline but the planes are OldâŠ
Budget Airline with mostly old equipment. Jet Airways seems like a good deal for Business Class flights but except for just one leg of the flight from Saudi Arabia to Bangkok and return it was just a bigger seat and not much more than you would expect in Economy Class. The planes were old and had no working in-flight entertainment and that's a problem on 10 hours, in the air, trip. The cabin crew were great and very attentive but lets hope everyone likes spicy Indian food? No USB charger which more airlines have even in economy, but the business lounges available in Jeddah and Bangkok were good. I would use them again but we can only hope the get newer aircraft before that? Note: Not Jet Airways problem, but the Mumbai Airport stop over is a joke. New Terminal run by Idiots who are set in the old ways.. Security CLOWN writing (by hand) boarding pass numbers as you pass through transit security. Rude Staff and very little signage.
Horrible experience with Jet Airways
Horrible experience with Jet Airways, my wife and kid went to airport 50 minutes before departure time and Jet airways refused onboarding and said they are late, however it was mentioned that counter is closed 45 minutes before departure.
My kid was sick but they didn't care. These guys has no humanity or ethics, i would not travel in Jet airways anymore.
You won't get any support from jet airways customer care, they simply say your ticket is gone book new ticket if you want to travel, they are not even ashamed of their doings.
Highly recommend not to travel with Jet Airways, there wasn't "0 star" they don't even deserve "1 star"

Terrible service. Changed my flight schedule twice in spite of me paying a premium cost for my flight. The inconvenience caused is not their PROBLEM... it was just my mistake for booking with them.
