Money-grubbing Airlines with poor customer service
DEEPLY DISSATISFIED with Jet Airways policy
I booked my flight for 6th July 2017 through Make My Trip and had to cancel on 15th June 2017 because of change in plans. There was a connecting flight (from Dehradun to Bangalore via Delhi), so they applied cancellation charge once for each flight instead of applying it once for each passenger.
Because it was two of us travelling, we needed to pay double the cancellation charge (that's 2 extra cancellation charges...I did not ask to be flown on two airplanes, that's the airline's responsibility)
Earlier I had cancelled a flight on Make My Trip from Mumbai to Delhi (via Ahmedabad) which was Indigo. They only applied cancellation charge once per person. Kudos to Indigo!
Shame on the money-grubbing policies in Jet Airways. You guys should really be embarrassed of your customer-UNfriendly policies.
I communicated this to their customer service, and all the responder had to say was 'It's airline policy.' When I stressed about Indigo, he reiterated 'Every airline has a different policy. This is our (cheats-its-customers) policy.' He offered no solution or apology at all.
Missed my connection at Mumbai
Missed my connection at Mumbai. Totally my fault. I didn't keep track of the time and then went to the wrong gate. An extremely helpful and understanding member of Jet Airways ground staff ensured I made it onto the next outgoing flight and at no additional cost. Excellent customer service. Would use again.
Worst airline ever (especially for special diets and allergies): Indian customer service at its worst
I booked my whole Indian holiday with Jet airways: out of 6 flight, only 1 was on-time (international had 5 hours delays while other companies for same destination were all on timeâŠ)
Forget about special diet, they have 2 choices: veg and non-veg. For the rest theyâll apologize a lot but youâll never get your special on any flights. I traveled for 8 hours on 1 apple and a plate of fruit. Crew promised upgrade as compensation for next flight but it never happened.
Staff ignores you, maybe because they donât speak good English?
Ground staff are useless as they canât help with connecting flights. Neither will partner companies.
Toilets are filthy, with pool of liquid on the floor, sinks are flooding. They have never been cleaned once throughout the flight.
In-flight entertainment is not relevant or old. Vintage movies and 10 year-old TED talks are the best you find.
Do yourself a favor, book with any other company than jet airways, anyway price is the same.
Amsterdam-Ahmedabad return
Bad food. Traveling for my Company on work. Transfer in Mumbai fly to Ahmedabad canceled go over vardodara and from there with bus. The bus dont go to the aerport in Ahmedabad No its stop with some hotel in midle of the City and then you Can stay on the street there... return from Ahmedabad to Mumbai toine to late.. in Mumbai 2 h to late and whe miss the KLM flight to Billund. Newer more with Thise unproffessional Company.
Awful - Not even worthy off a 1 STAR
The airline have no common sense or any urgency.
Lack off information as will as miss leading information regarding their connecting flights.
Went to check in and they have a massive queue, stood in the queue to check in for over an Hour with only two check in desks available. Only after 50 minutes they decided to open another check in desk.
The flight was delayed from the UK .... I wonder why...hmm
MAYBE be more efficient and check in people effectively.
Got to Mumbai and their connecting flight and their website to continue my journey states it's an internal transfer YET. My baggage was take out and I had to drag and carry my baggage around and check in yet again. What an earth is that all about.
When I book a flight and you provide an internal transfer I expect my baggage to be transferred over automatically, never have I come across such a backwards airline who do not know what is going on and sell you miss leading information.
AVOID THIS INCOMPETENT AIRLINE, pay a little extra and you will have a much better experience and service.
NEVER AGAIN WOULD I EVER CONSIDER AND NEVER WILL I EVER RECOMMEND THIS HORRENDOUS AIRLINE TO ANYONE.

Worst experience ever
We had a flight from Paris CDG to Mumbai on 31st Dec, 2016. The boarding was delayed by an hour first. After boarding, the passengers were kept inside the plane for 3 and a half hour with very little information of what was happening. The air hostess were rude and unresponsive. We were given a cup of water and a packet of cookies. After that we were asked to get off from the aircraft, the flight was not cancelled until then. It was 5 hours after stranding us at the airport that we were told about the cancellation. There was no plans whatsoever, the ground staffs lied to faces of the passengers. They were just engaging the crowd by promising lots of unnecessary activities. We were told that we would be placed on 11 am flight the next day, which actually took off at 9 pm. On top of that, we had to wait for thr crew to arrive for nearly 2 hours after pre-boarding at the gate. I think this is the first time in aviation history that passengers waited for the crews. I am never flying with jet airways ever again.
Good service
Recently, I flew on Jet Airways from USA to Hyderabad via Delhi IGI airport. I had booked the flight through Indian eagle travel agency. The international segment of my trip up to Delhi was very smooth. The crew members of Jet Airways were polite and courteous. I had a nice flight by Jet Airways.
Awful airline and even worse service
Flight was delayed by over 25 hours from London Heathrow to Mumbai. The staff ignored us entirely, we were unaware of what time our flight had been rescheduled for and even when we were brought back to the airport the following day we were made to wait with no explanation as to why, and still, no flight time. Even when we finally got onto the aircraft we were waiting for 2 hours before the aircraft moved. Not one member of staff was able to help, we would be referred to Heathrow staff members who had no idea what was going on. We were on a transit flight to Goa (stopping in Mumbai) and the staff in Mumbai were equally as unhelpful, nobody could tell us when we would reach our final destI nation of Goa. Despite having heard great things about Jet Airways, I would never fly with them again because when things went wrong nobody from Jet Airways was helpful at all, and instead of answering any questions we had or reassuring us they walked away and completely ignored us.
Jet Airways is good
First of all i must tell you guys it was first time with Jet airways.
So... i booked 2 international flight with JA from Dubai to Singapore and return for me and my girlfriend.The flight are almost not directly they had hubs on Mumbai or New Delhi.
The planes are almost new and the crew are very good.The food is somewhat good but i think this is based on nationality.For me as european was ok ,not great but ok.
The only "complain" was about headphones and touchscreens for movies which is always by your luck to working properly.
They are very organised between transfers,very.
The email support is great let me explain, after one month i request the miles for my trip an they answer very fast.

Ik had een vlucht geboekt met Jet Airways van Bangkok naar Brussel, met tussenstop in Mumbai. In Mumbai ben ik van de trap van het vliegtuig gevallen en heb ik de gewrichtsbanden van mijn enkel gescheurd. Het personeel van Jet Airways heeft mij niet geholpen. Ik kreeg geen dokter te zien, ik kreeg geen rolstoel en ik kon op de volgende vlucht mijn voet niet omhoog leggen. Eens in België diende ik klacht in bij Jet Airways. Zij hebben mij geantwoord dat het ongeval volgens hen nooit gebeurd is. Dat is werkelijk schandalig. Vlieg met Jet Airways en je wordt behandeld als een hond!!!
Jet airways not fit for international travel

I booked jet airways on LHR-DEL-ATQ route for 20th nov.The flight was delayed by 23 hours and no accommodation & food were offered to the passengers.They didn't rebook us for onward destinations from New Delhi.The passengers had to rush to jet airways customer services counters at the (DEL )domestic airport with their luggage to rebook them .
They were meant to rebook us automatically but they decided not to do so.I even called their call centre on 20th and 21st nov but they replied that we need to do so at the LHR.At LHR there was a complete chaos on 21st nov as first they told passengers who were travelling further from delhi to queue up separately and then later on they took our details on paper and were told to contact Jet Airways at delhi airport .In new delhi as usual the delhi jet staff had no information and passengers had a hard time.
The food choices were not passed to the flight staff and i was give non veg food instead of veg food despite telling the check in staff to make sure that i get the right food.The in flight crew was very helpful and apologized for the problems.The stewards in DEl-ATQ route were exceptional as they were assisting elderly passengers very well.
The ground & call centre staff of Jet is totally useless,uncaring and lazy.They could have rebooked us on onward connections but they decided not to do .
They didn't care if person is travelling with children as all passengers had a hard time at LHR and DEL for rebooking their onward connections. They keep us moving in at the different part of the LHR to control the crowd and in this process one of my colleague lost his camera and people with kids had really hard time.
I paid extra 180 pounds to travel out on sunday but they refused to return the fare difference and no money for hotel or meals.
Why to pay 200 pound more when this airline can't even get the basic things right like giving hotel in case of long delay and vege food.It is better to go with Air India as it is cheaper and at least offer 3 star hotels in case of delay at LHR.
