Purchased a Haworth shower tray and glass screen from Jewsons Torquay.
Although Jewsons delivered the wrong screen they did soon replace it and their service was reasonable.
However my main complaint is about the Haworth shower tray, utter rubbish.
We have it as a wet room tray and the water came over the back of the tray. We called the installer back to check everything was level, and it was.
The installer fitted a rubber bar at the back of the tray to hold the water back which worked to a degree. We found the water was building up again and we had to remove the drain cover to let the water escape quicker. We can only use the shower at low power, and without the drain cover.
Overall very disappointing, our options now are to fit a full enclosure or replace the tray. Would not recommend the Haworth shower tray to anybody.

Jewsons Chesterfield - the staff at this branch are the most polite and helpful team I have encountered in a builder's centre.

I made an online enquiry for a machine hire - the response was very swift and Chris was very helpful and clear in demonstrating the use of the machine and helped in loading it into my vehicle. The staff on return were equally efficient and pleasant.

Jewson’s Chorley store are excellent. I telephoned after looking online to ask about hiring a demolition hammer and the advice I got was brilliant, as advised I called into the store to look at what tool would be best for our job and was given a range of different machines to choose from, the equipment and assistance were second to none with a very fair rental price. Huge thanks to Steve and team they are the best.

An order for walling blocks was placed on line on the 13th May. Delivery was due to arrive 7 working days direct from Marshalls.
To cut a long story short Jewson had deleted my order as the information on their website was incorrect. The problem is they didn't bother telling me until it was too late to correct and I had to ring them!!! It's now way too late to get the order which was wanted for this bank holiday weekend.
Also, why is it they take your payment the same day but it takes 5 working days for the payment to be refunded.
I will never trust them again.

Unhelpful warehouse persons & need outer signage moved at Sedgefield

Don't use this company, they let their drivers bump into your car, and even though they will have footage of it, they deny it, what a dishonest company.

Not a good welcome. Directed for piece of wood to be cut. Asked if I had made appt. No customers waiting. Staff standing around. Cutter said "going on lunch soon" at 12.45pm. Not the best experience. Felt a nuisance

Easy to order, very helpful and lovely home delivery guy. Would use again.

Waited in today for a delivery and called them at 12 to find out where it was. I went outside when still on the call and saw the big tonne bag of stones. Later found out the driver had been up, reversed the lorry up the hill and dropped it off over the wall where I was looking for it to be dropped off. Brilliant. Didn't even hear the lorry. Must be electric. :) Thank you.

The male manager there has a problem with women.
He thinks only men can be in the building trade.
Jewsons please send him on an awareness course ASAP !
Positive points ,staff on the counter very knowledgeable.

Upon visiting the Falkirk branch, I took my chosen item to the counter, namely a 6mm thick sheet of MDF. The assistant went to his desk to process the transaction & eventually came back & said the price was £16.76. When I queried the price, I was then advised that online prices were exclusive of VAT & because I did not have the facility there & then to check, I paid the £16.76. However, later that night I checked the receipt & realised I had been charged for a plywood sheet & was blatantly lied to regarding the addition of VAT to web prices. I have e-mailed head office & await their reply but such incompetence is unacceptable as is the blatant lying. Jewsons should hang their head in shame at employing such an assistant, especially a front of house one. My advice to potential customers - go elsewhere !!

I normally shop at the Cromer branch of Jewson as the store is local to me. I always have good customer care, and have noticed that they have had a new guy working there now for a few months who makes the visit to the store more great than it already was. You can have a good laugh with him while having your order dealt with in a polite way. thank you Jewson for making the trip more worthwhile.

Jewson Wadebridge - excellent customer service. Dave in the yard showed us exactly what wood we needed for our job, Andy at the counter sorted our order out with ease and offered next day delivery. Driver Andy turned up next day at 8.30 am after texting with an eta. I asked the driver for all the names so I could name them on the review. Cannot fault the service or quality of products 👏🏼

Jewson staff are all very helpful.
My disappointment is with their website. They say Hanson sand and cement mortar mix is grey but it is very terracotta coloured. It is a great product to work with and doesn’t leave a white powdery residue like another cheaper brand but the colour is nothing like grey. I’ll have to buy a different brand.

We are building an extension and have opened an account with out local Jewson branch.

Since we started the work the team at the branch couldn’t have been more helpful, and the delivery driver, Martin, goes above and beyond to try and get the materials dropped where we want them.

The prompt and reliable supply of materials has really been welcomed during our build.

And having opened an account with them I get a very useful trade discount.

One of my guys as just gone into Jewsons in Croydon to be met with the rudest branch manager he’s ever come across.Lee who loves to tell you how important he is “I’m the branch manager ” is all I could get out of him over the phone when trying to make a payment then he decided he didn’t wasn’t to talk to me anymore so started a rant on how rude I was being “listen to the call area manager and decide for yourselves” he’s not what you need front of house and does like the sound of his own voice. Me or my associates will never use his branch again

I ordered 10 gravel boards from the Andover store to be delivered, thought the price was a little steep but I was in a hurry. A week later I ordered the same boards from Sydenhams and they were £100 cheaper. On writing to the branch, the reply I received was that if I was an account holder there would've been discount applied. So the business model is rip off the guy who doesn't need to have an account. To be clear they were double the price.

Easy website, good communication via email and messages and delivered when they said they would.

I ordered online and got a delivery date which was two days away Free delivery unfortunately they could not deliver on the day.,but they arranged for next day it came afternoon cannot express how helpful the delivery driver was he went out of his way to accomodate (Maidstone Branch) Jewsons are lucky to have him.
