Took ages to get served by robot like till operator who seemed to be looking for ages on his screen. Expensive product, much cheaper at Travis Perkins.
No help with loading. Loads of staff “busy” on their computers in the office.
Overall a negative experience I will never be repeating.

Really refreshing to go into these branches and people come straight up to the counter to serve you. Way better than Buildbase who finish their non-work chats before they deign to serve you.

Took my order and money yesterday and offered a delivery slot today. Didn’t deliver and despite what they say on their website couldn’t be bothered to let me know. Won’t be using these cowboys again.

I must say that Liam Keenan is one of the most patient and politest workers I have ever come across and this company are lucky to have him .

Tried to sell me a pack of Indian sandstone for £1080 , went home and bought them off thier website from jewson same pack came from same yard for £628, also got letter saying free bag of red sand to new account openers , they would not honour, said It was too late not really impressed with em

Dave from Jewsons Bedford branch just dropped off a lot of loft boards. Our drive isn't the easiest and rather than just dropping them anywhere, he was really considerate to spend a little more time placing them out of the way.

I can not tell about the quality of service of this company, but there is something I need to tell, as it is in public interest.
About two weeks ago their delivery truck entered the road ignoring the sign "No construction traffic past this point". The sign is large and clearly visible. Further down, the road becomes a bridleway with a few private houses. The driver entered the bridleway, that is way too narrow for the truck, damaged a standing car and drove away without stopping and leaving his details. Two weeks now, the car is still damaged and not safely usable, so rental bill is getting bigger. More to it, their trucks keep coming and doing the same thing, apart from damage. They ignoring the sign, and attempt to drive on this bridleway, leading to dead end. They are trying their luck to use non existent shortcut, ignoring the signs to reach building site, that is located on the parallel street and signs with directions are clear. But this company is way too ignorant to bother with signs and keep putting people and property in danger by driving where they are not supposed to.

I ordered some paving blocks online last week, and was charged £20 delivery (fair enough).

I was given a delivery date of 2nd August, so took the day off work.

As I hadn't heard anything, yesterday I contacted the depot shown on my confirmation and was told it was actually being delivered from another depot a little closer to my home. I asked if they had any idea of a time and was told "You're 1st drop. Between 08.00-09.00."

So, I got up early to get my jobs done so as to be at home between 08.00-09.00.

At 10.30 I called the depot ask "Where is my order?" and was told "I would have it by lunchtime." I checked and lunchtime is 12.00.

At 12.38 I called again to ask where was my order, and was told "It was on its way. First drop is actually 09.00 - 17.00!!!!" I wonder when 2nd drop is???

I was then told "You shouldn't have been given a delivery time. It's something that we never do." The fella at Jewson's assured me that he would call me back to let me know what's happening and where the driver is, and guess what? OF COURSE HE DIDN'T.

As far as 'm concerned - you didn't deliver when your employee told me you would. You have wasted an entire day of mine.

How on earth has this shambles managed to stay in business for so long if they treat customers so badly?

Finally..... The driver that delivered my order was fantastic. Then only person who has provided the service I had hoped for - so Thank you to him.

We just wanted to say thank you to Mick from the West Wickham branch. Mick delivered our order, and then went out of his way to help my partner carry the goods from the truck, up our front steps.

Asked for a quote on items for an extension. Got back to me to say they would do it.
Heard nothing. Contacted them to ask for quote but still nothing.
Obviously really busy and don’t need the business.
I will go elsewhere for prices now.
As they have just lost a potential few grand order.
