No 1 THE GLEN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE OF A BOOKING
Booked this caravan for short break after reading the reviews,
Arrived just after 1500 and left 1630.
The caravan is so run down itâs in need of a full refurbishment, the cupboards are badly painted with a beige colour paint and missing handles, the bed has a cut down piece of foam under the mattress protector, we sat down on the sofa and it collapsed inwards, the drawers are filled with junk including a vape that the daughter found everything in cheap a second hand by the looks of it, toilet seat doesnât fit, the sealing around the bath is coming away and black mould in the corner.
Outside on the decking the furniture is old rusted and has holes in the seat, I would not use it as it looks very unsafe, weeds on the decking?.
The kitchen sink emptied out under the caravan were there is they have stored junk and old furniture and also the fold down bed ? Just left out there ?, the water and junk is attracting flies so main door needs to be closed.
The patioâs doors donât open, why ? The key hole is covered up with gaffer tape, overall the accommodations is in a really poor and we feel unsafe condition,
They charge £583 for 4 nights and we stayed just under two hours.
Donât book the caravan especially if you have kids !
We found out through digging through previous reviews that these conditions have been reported before and nothing done to resolve them.
PLEASE, if you want a nice clean caravan at seaton sands book anything but this disaster.

Hi Stephen,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Weâre really sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay and understand how disappointing this must have been, especially after travelling and expecting the accommodation to meet a certain standard.
As Last Minute Cottages is a booking platform and does not directly manage the properties listed on our site, weâre unable to investigate or resolve property condition issues ourselves. However, feedback like this is extremely important and we would encourage you to raise your concerns with the property manager directly so they can investigate and address the points youâve raised.
If you need any assistance in ensuring your feedback reaches the relevant property manager, please contact our support team at support@lastminute-cottages.co.uk with your booking details and weâll be happy to help.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
