the dresses are beautiful, affordable and accessible sizes, any small issue is dealt with professionally by the customer services team.

My dress was not delivered by Royal Mail, I sent 1 email and Rachael at Lavish Alice customer service dealt with everything!!! She kept me up to date with what was happening and made the whole process a breeze!! New dress is now in the post to me!! Excellent customer service, thank you.

I have been a loyal customer of Lavish Alice for over five years and have never experienced anything like this before.

I placed an order for five dresses that were advertised as outlet/final sale items. What should have been a simple purchase turned into a two-month nightmare.

I had to place my order four separate times because every order ran into the same issue. Instead of receiving tracking information, I would receive emails from Evri demanding approximately $200 in customs fees on top of the nearly $500 I had already paid for the dresses. When I contacted Lavish Alice customer service, I was repeatedly told that my orders had been “lost” and that refunds would be issued within 10 days. Each time, I was encouraged to place a new order.

Not only was I constantly waiting for refunds, but I was also carrying multiple charges on my credit card and paying interest while trying to resolve a problem that was not of my making.

The most frustrating part was the lack of transparency. On my final orders, Lavish Alice told me not to pay the customs fees because they were investigating the issue. However, when I checked Evri’s tracking information myself, it showed that the packages were being returned to the sender. Despite this, customer service continued telling me the packages were “in transit.” The information I was receiving simply did not match what the carrier was showing.

Eventually, after multiple failed orders, refunds, and endless back-and-forth emails, Lavish Alice issued a gift card and advised me to reorder yet again. This time I decided to pay the customs fees just to see what would happen. Unsurprisingly, that was the only time I actually received the dresses I originally ordered for a wedding—almost two months later.

Now for the most concerning part. The dresses I purchased were outlet/final sale items. Anyone familiar with outlet merchandise knows that once an item is marked as final sale, it typically does not return to the website at a significantly higher price. Yet after finally receiving my order, I noticed the exact same dress I purchased for $97 was relisted at $322, then advertised with a “20% discount.” I also noticed price increases across many other dresses on the site.

As a customer of more than five years, I am shocked by how this situation was handled. Poor communication, misleading information, customs issues that customers are left to resolve themselves, and questionable pricing practices have completely destroyed my confidence in this company.

If you live in the United States, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before ordering. My experience was stressful, expensive, and incredibly disappointing. Unfortunately, after this ordeal, I will not be purchasing from Lavish Alice again.

I have always used Lavish Alice and been very happy . They have even used our photos on their socials . I am very disappointed with my experience today . I ordered a dress and contacted customer service straight away to explain that I needed it for a specific event the following day. The website did not provide me with an option to upgrade to next-day delivery, so I asked if this could be arranged as my order had not been dispatched at this point and even offered to pay the additional delivery charge.

Despite being aware of the urgency, I was told that the only option was to purchase a second dress with next-day delivery and then return the original order. This was not a realistic solution, as I could not afford to pay for the dress twice. The dress was then dispatched using standard delivery, even though customer service knew it would not arrive in time.

I appreciate that delivery policies exist, but I feel there was a lack of flexibility and customer care in this situation. I am now left without the dress when I needed it most and felt my concerns were not properly considered.

Avoid at all costs!!!

Sizing runs drastically small. When you return the item you then don’t receive a refund, they say they’ll look into and get back to you and then they don’t. Your left with no option but to get your bank involved for a refund. Wish I’d seen their reviews before ordering as I would have avoided completely. Such a shame as the dress was absolutely stunning.

I purchased a dress, didn’t try it on for two weeks and when I removed from the box it was faulty. I contacted customer services they refunded me and I was able to reorder. No problems or hassle

First time ordering from them, their customer service are very quick and my dressed was shipped on the same day I ordered it. Hopefully, the dress fits and is of good quality.

Amy in Customer Service was super helpful when I had an issue. I have been using LA for years and the quality of their pieces is always brilliant. Even with a slight issue that Amy sorted, my confidence was not lost in the brand.
