Staff sympathetic, kind and helpful

I would wish to express my thanks to all the staff at LCS. They have shown professionalism at all times, with a courteous and compassionate attitude.

Their help in creating a will is sincerely appreciated in what is not an easy task.

I found their fees totally acceptable and excellent value for money. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you

I needed to make modification to my existing will at short notice, and the guys at LCS could not have been more helpful....they turned it around in record time, and all with super positive customer service and a very fair fee.

Complete contrast to the typical high street legal firm approach to providing legal support.

Considering the challenging dynamics between the two sides of the family, Legal & Contract Services Ltd handled our late father's will with patience, discretion, and compassion. We always found them to be polite and professional with us. Mostly, we communicated with Sam. She always returned our queries and explained things in layman's terms, when we didn't understand. When you have lost a loved one, it is a stressful time, and all the ins and outs of the law can be difficult to grasp, we had to go back and ask for step-by-step instructions with a few things, like putting the house in trust but we never felt it was a bother and were supported throughout.

So, my father used their services to write his will. Upon his passing, nearly a year ago now (bar ten days), we still aren't very far forward in getting this completed. His estate btw is the easiest there is, nothing contentious and all very straight forward. Since his passing we have had at least three separate people (possibly four), attempt to write to the various entities and sort things out. Today I rang up the latest person a person called Sam. She was all very friendly (at first) and twice before I was about to lay out my concerns to her I stated (the phone call I'm led to believe is recorded); "I am not having a go at you". But she then goes on to interrupt me and put the phone down on me! Stating "Yes you are." I was nothing but polite, calm and level headed. So, I thought I'd phone their general enquiries number as I wanted to let a manger know what had happened and find out what is going on with my father's estate. Something btw I phoned three weeks before and was given an update. Anyway, upon attempting to find a manager I was informed she is away for another week plus (on holiday) and there is no one standing in for her! I am my father's only son and I am very concerned for my elderly mother's care and health as I feel their dealings with my mother are average at best. Before Sam put the phone down on my she attempted to state was it possible to speak to my mother, I mean really? A firm that has been paid to deal with his estate is asking her son hundreds of miles away. So, in summation, you can probably guess my recommendations for this firm. I will be emailing the firm's manager about this incident and as we all know, it cannot be slander or libel if it's true.

Over the last few months it became clear to me that the long standing WILL, that I had written about twenty years ago, needed a deep review following changes of attitudes towards me by my family. My WILL had been prepared for me by Legal and Contract Services Ltd. in Dawlish, so I contacted them again and explained my predicament.

I was pleased with their immediate response and within a few days I had an extended meeting with their expert in WILLS, Rosemary CLEGG BSc (Hons) Finst.Pa RGN. What a professional !

She lucidly explained all aspects of the relevant laws, warned me about 'challenges' and what to expect. We discussed 'Grandfather's Rights', a topic on which I had no knowledge. I was also given the option of accessing their 'Ultimate' package, which means that I pay a low monthly fee now, and my EXECUTORS continue with that when I pass on. The back up team of a well-trained office staff worked on my new WILL, which under the package, I can adjust whenever I decide to do so.

An all round top quality firm, headed by an accomplished professional, which I am happy to confidently recommend to others.

Terrible service,said they could sort out my late father’s estate and charged my mum over £1000 and didn’t do what they said they would do and told my mum she would need a solicitor after paying them to do the job that they should have done.Never use them
