I honestly couldn't recommend Emily Dunne highly enough. She has been absolutely amazing throughout the process of both selling our current home and purchasing our new one.
I will say that the onboarding process with the firm was quite difficult. It took just over a week to actually get mistakes updated that had been made on the onboarding forms and it was quite frustrating.
However, once everything was passed over to Emily, the experience completely changed. She has been incredibly helpful, responsive and reassuring whenever I've had questions or concerns and has always taken time to explain things clearly.
Thank you so much, Emily, for all of your hard work and for making what could have been a very stressful process feel so much easier.

Very slow progress in purchasing my first property -over 5 months. Difficult to communicate with the solicitor allocated to my case and very limited guidance throughout the process from her side.

As a first time buyer I’ve had zero issues with solicitors, they seemed great at communicating and answered any questions I had. Would definitely use again.

It was a long drawn out process but we got there in the end. Overall we were pleased with the service. Things could have progressed slightly quicker perhaps and communication could have been a little better, but never did we feel that we would be let down or left out of the loop. Well deserved 5 stars.

Just had a bit of trouble with communication as different people were involved. It would be nice if only one person could have taken over the case.
Otherwise all good and I would use the same company again.

Great experience overall. There were a few delays that made me worry the purchase might not go through, but the team pulled through in the end. They were accommodating and worked closely with my developer to finalise the sale before the deadline. I appreciate their effort and would still recommend them to anyone looking to buy a house.

Overall i am happy with the service they provided. My only negative is the time it takes to go through the whole process when i had a very simple case

The communication and process that we went through was extremely poor. The system they use models itself on the way they have worked for years internally and doesn't lend itself to communication with the clients at all. The concept of this team and that team and the other team. We don't care about that and we shouldn't need to hear about those teams even existing. It should be a series of states that we progress through and currently the system is very very bad at explaining that. After 2 months we were still on stage 1 and it wasn't clear what the hold up was. When we chased we were told that we were needed to fill in some forms that we get access to via emails with a limited period access code. We had no idea that this had happened as it got caught by spam. Later in the process we chased to see what was holding people up and we were told, for the first time that we needed to provide 3 extra pieces of documentation. Apparently we'd missed the request because at that stage we were getting 6 emails a day from the system each with massive of attachments. We have day jobs and couldn't keep track of all of the information that was being sent through in legal jargon that meant nothing to us.
The experience was stressful and highly illogical.

Good service from LPL but I think the frequency, clarity and consistency of communication can improve from the individuals we interacted with.

At the start, I felt there was great communication and was made to feel like this was an easy to follow process. However, as a first time solo buyer, I felt like there could have been a bit more reassurance approaching the contracts and what comes next. Maybe this is also on me for expecting a little more guidance and I could have asked questions rather than turning to google and family/friends! My only other suggestion is better personalisation. Most emails were never personal, just stating ‘Good morning,’ and I feel like that extra touch would also provide the reassurance.
Overall, it has been a seamless and unproblematic experience and I really can’t fault or complain and would definitely recommend!!

Absolute amateurs! I can not give them less than a star unfortunately.
They asked the same documents multiple time, even documents I sent them weeks ago.
They asked the same question on evening and morning even if was responded in the evening straight away.
They asked information/documents which are not relevant for my case.
They gave me false information.
They do not have any clue how to communicate with the client and explain what are the steps and what the client has to do.
They are rude having to call having to call 5 times in a day to be answered once plus email where they don't respond.
They don't know to read a bank statement.
An absolute nightmare! Avoid!

This company helped to complete our remortgage. However we found our appointed person to lack in communication sharing, proactiveness, chasing external agencies involved etc. They quoted us different to what they had already quoted us halfway through but agreed to continue thank goodness! They waited until us as the customer asked for updates to then chase or provide issues that had been ongoing for days. The whole process of remortgage took 3 months! Whilst some delay was due to external reasons a large proportion of this was due to this company and their team. This lead to us paying varied rates. When I expressed my concerns and complaints to our appointed person and their manager it was acknowledged that delays did occur however they were unwilling to expect any responsibility and any compensation for the time lost and money lost.

I would not recommend and will be taking my business elsewhere in future.

We did reach completion and I am grateful for that, but in the early stages of the process it seemed as if my case wasn’t a priority. My case handler was seemingly unavailable and very difficult to get in contact with and things took an awful long time to be responded to. I believe that had things been dealt with better in the earlier stages, I could have moved in a week earlier. At the end of the day, we got to completion though and I am grateful for this.

We had a great experience with the solicitors. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently, and communication throughout was excellent. We were kept updated at every stage and always felt like we knew what was happening. Would definitely recommend their services and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
