Do not buy from this garage. I wish I had read these reviews first! They will try to sell you a car at all costs but if anything goes wrong, they are not interested. After sales care is non-existent. My car had unseen damage and needed a number of repairs and replacements, yet when asking for a refund under my rights (Consumer Rights Act) they refuse. Any subsequent repairs are botched and done cheaply. They just don't care. They should not be allowed to trade and give second-hand car dealers a bad name. DO NOT GET INVOLVED!

Avoid at All Costs – Disastrous Experience.
I purchased a car from Liberty Green in May 2025, and it has been a complete nightmare from day one. Upon getting the vehicle home, I immediately discovered an oil leak. The dealership was extremely reluctant to help, but eventually took it back to "fix" the issue.
By late December 2025, the oil leak returned. When I contacted Liberty Green again, they flatly refused to take the car back in or offer any assistance. While trying to resolve this with them in January 2026, the car went into limp mode.I took the vehicle to an independent garage where the news was devastating: oil had contaminated the entire engine. The repair bill was quoted at £6,000—nearly the value of the car. Liberty Green have taken zero responsibility for selling a faulty vehicle and failing to fix it correctly the first time.I have now been forced to scrap a car I owned for less than a year. This garage is unprofessional and sells unreliable vehicles. Save your money and your sanity—stay far away from Liberty Green.

The sales team were warm and friendly however two and a half months and a fault appeared with the clutch. The owners of Liberty Green have zero interest in helping you. Happy to state it’s wear and tear and not their problem. Would not accept responsibility and offer a free repair (under the consumer rights act). I would strongly advise not buying a car from this company! Having researched the company more I am now finding more customers who have bought cars that within a short space of time show serious faults. We are currently applying to the small claims court in hopes to get some of our money back.

Bought an epace jaguar from liberty green. The vehicle had a major electrical problem that they said was no easy fix. I was still in my 1 month period and asked for a refund. The manager marc said he would need to take advice. Which I found distressing. I needed a car fast so came to an agreement on another car which was cheaper and got the balance refunded,they did lend me a car and gave me a 15 month warrenty so can't fault them for that. The sales team Andy and Milo are very friendly. My only gripe is trying to get the boss Marc on the phone. It took days to get hold of him and felt he was avoiding me. All well that ends well. In the end the issue was resolved. I did later notice a puncture in the carpet by the driver seat and emailed Marc the boss but he never replied but Milo did . As I said my only gripe! Would I go back to liberty green ? Well they owe me 15 months warrenty so yes

Bought from them under their former name (DCC) in April 2024 as we needed a bigger car for our growing family. We had our car less than 2 years and already need to find a replacement which is very difficult finacially. It was not a cheap car either. We were told major deterioration noted in previous MOTs had been resolved and they came up again in our first check a year later. Not trustworthy.

VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM

I want to share my experience with everyone I purchased Car on the 22/09/2025 literally after 4 days I got issue with the car the engine management light on I called them spoke to Robert who was Sales Person on the day when I purchased the car he was the one who sold the car to me I explained him the whole situation that how is that possible after just 4 days the engine light is on I would like to return the car because I’m not satisfied with car he said we cannot do anything about it you have to speak to the warranty team so I did tell him that why you are making me doing all that as I looked at your website it states that all of your cars undergo a 128-pointcheck before being approved for sale which I assume this car didn’t but again by his response it seems he’s not willing to help he’s passing to the next person I had the OBD Scanner at home so I checked it shows the fault in the Catalyst System then I called up to the warranty team they said we book your car to get diagnose and the individual claim limit is £250inc VAT anything over you have to pay from your pocket which I wasn’t happy at all about they seclude the car to be checked on the 10/10/2025 then on the 07/10/2025 I received an email the garage and date has been changed to the 14/10/2025 so bear in mind meantime the car is sitting on my driveway I’m paying for the uber to get to work and paying for the car insurance and road tax without using it which made me very upset as my friends telling what’s the point getting a new car when you are not even able to use it so then I called to the dealer again on the 07/10/2025 I manage to speak to the manger his name is Julian I explained the whole situation I would like to return the car under Consumer’s Rights Act 2015 if it happens within the first 30 days and it happens after 4 days so please I’m getting very stressed about this I even said I’m happy for you to deduct any mileage has been used since the car I used even I’m willing to pay the admin fees or anything after long conversation he said I want you to take the car to the garage for diagnose and then if it’s something minor I’m not going to accept the return but if its something major we will talk about it what we can do so I said to him I can tell you the fault which is related to Catalyst System and it is major I will take the car but if the report says fault related to engine gearbox or Catalyst System I’m not going to keep the car and I’ll leave the review to make other people aware how you guys treat your customer after sale as there no support at all I was struggling with the purchase, so my brother helped me buy. Guys, please do not buy any Cars from them; buy from anywhere else, even if you have to pay extra for your peace of mind, so you can get at least 6 months' warranty. I guarantee you they will not support you at all after your purchase. I did mention to them I was going to leave this review on every platform so no one gets treated the way I got as I worked 15-16 hours a day to buy this Car but it wasn't worth it I could have purchased it from Approved used garages I regret it now based on my experience and with the honest review you guys decide what you guys want to do.

Excellent professional service in purchasing my car. All processes explained thoroughly and patiently. Miray & Jeff both very nice, polite and fair. would thoroughly recommend.

Fortunately I bought a car online so had the additional consumer rights to be able to return inside 14 days for a full refund. The car I bought was dropping oil on the drive. The oil was black despite Liberty Green claiming it had been serviced. The oil had been overfilled and given the damage this can cause I insisted on the return. I regretted not rejecting the car on inspection as I stupidly didn't check the oil until later. The drive back to their premises was about 2 hours and I pre-agreed they were happy for me to drive it, which they were. The drive included the car going in and out of emergency mode due to a gearbox issue (dashboard error message) and then the engine light came on. I made it, which was in doubt...car was back on sale within a week. To be fair to them they did process my refund without any complaints, although this was of course a legal obligation to do so.

Avoid this dealership at all costs! I bought a used car from LibertyGreenCars (formerly DrivingCleanerCars) in August 2024, and within days of ownership, I discovered a major fault—the heating system on the driver's side didn’t work.
Since then, it has been over four months of frustration, multiple failed repair attempts, and zero accountability from the dealership. Instead of owning the issue, they passed the buck to a third-party warranty company, forcing me into a cycle of ineffective repairs while they ignored my complaints.

I have now had to escalate the case to Trading Standards and my credit card company for a Section 75 claim due to their refusal to resolve the issue. If you’re considering buying from this dealership—don’t. Once they have your money, they won’t care about you. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. 🚨
