The training was absolutely amazing, and the product is even more impressive. I had done a lot of research previous but the training opened my eyes to so many more possibilities. The staff are great and you can tell they all enjoy what they do, super knowledgable and happy to not just answer your questions but expand on them to help you understand just how much you can do with this.

I recently purchased a Loxone Audioserver and Stereo Extension directly from Loxone for my home automation system. The hardware concept and ecosystem are strong, but my experience with support has been extremely disappointing.
During installation I discovered that the Tree Turbo interface on the Audioserver appeared to be faulty. The Stereo Extension powered up but could not be discovered by the system. I contacted Loxone support and provided photos, wiring details and the troubleshooting steps I had already carried out.
The response I received was that Loxone only provides in-depth technical support to registered installation partners, not to end customers. This was surprising given that the hardware was purchased directly from Loxone’s own store. The nearest Loxone approved partner is over 20 miles from me and the cost of paying a day rate of circa £300 to diagnose a faulty component valued around £450 makes no sense.
As a result, I had to diagnose the fault myself. To isolate the issue I purchased a second Audioserver and installed it in the same cabinet using the exact same wiring and SD card. The replacement unit immediately discovered and paired with all Tree Turbo devices, confirming that the original Audioserver hardware was defective.
While the system works well once running, the process of proving a hardware fault without meaningful support was time-consuming and expensive.
Unless Loxone change their support policy for customers who purchase hardware directly, I would recommend considering alternative automation platforms that provide proper OEM technical support.
27/3/26 Update: Loxone has tested the audioserver and confirmed it to be faulty. They've authorised a refund for the unit but won't cover the return postage meaning I've wasted 5 hours and £12 buying a faulty unit direct from them. If I'd followed their guidance I've have wasted £100's (my nearest Loxone partner charges £95+VAT/hour for technical support). Come on Loxone, this is not good customer service. Sort it out.
11/5/26 Refund finally received - 3 1/2 months after the Audioserver was bought direct from Loxone.

We choose Loxone as it is easy to work with and easy to commission the system. There is no delay on AIR devices, no signal dropping as the system can take more that 1 task

Hired an ‘authorized’ Loxone installer—biggest mistake of my life. They used the wrong wires, botched everything, and now I’m stuck with a house that freezes, lights that glitch, valves that pop off randomly, and an app that crashes mid-command. Spent $150,000 on this supposed dream setup, and I’m still paying repair guys every week. ‘Authorized’ apparently means nothing—Loxone lets clowns install their gear and leaves you holding the bag. Hardware might be decent, but the whole system’s unreliable trash if this is how they roll. Avoid like the plague. 1 star. Never again.
Update March 7th 2026 “Company replied asking me to email—sent it Feb 26th. Zero response since. Guess they just wanted me quiet.”

Ik heb 7 jaar terug het hele huis laten installeren met draadloos Loxone (dit was aangeraden). Peperduur en de lichtschakelaars bleken de batterijen niet te blijven zitten, de wifi verdelen ging niet goed waardoor constant alle batterijen vervangen moeten worden (die niet blijven zitten), instellingen zijn zelf niet aan te passen en nu blijkt na 7 jaar dat ook de verwarmings stelventielen niet blijken te voldoen (en op voorraad zijn) waardoor deze ook tegen een hele hoge prijs vervangen moeten worden. Ieder inregel momentje wordt in rekening gebracht en iedere schakelaar en stelventiel is per stuk 122 euro. Ik ben inmiddels vorig jaar en dit jaar alweer bijna 8000 euro verder en nog werkt het niet optimaal. Een "servicebeurt" kost mij ook nog eens 1500. Waarom hebben we niet gewoon een lichtschakelaar en verwarming met aan en uit gekozen? Ik kan niet meer terug maar denk er goed over na..
