WHAT A MESS , 45 DAYS DELIVERY TERMS COMES TO 90 - 100 DAYS, THEY ARE BIG LIERS, NEVER TRUST MAERSK , NEVER GIVE YOUR SHIPMENTS TO MAERSK

Received an email stating my 75" TV Would be delivered today, but I won't be home. Maersk rep told me last night that no signature is required and that they would just drop it off. Leave a 75" TV in front of my house?! Been on the phone trying to achefule delivery with no result. If walmart uses them I should have known they would be a crappy delivery service. I'm hoping people read these reviews before using maersk and steer away from it as a company. You can't speak to anyone and corporate makes sure you can't contact them

Wish I could give it Zero stars! Awful experience having a replacement TV shipped from Vizio. Left California LAX 6/12. On 6/19, I get an email saying they had scheduled an appointment for the delivery on 6/24 between 10am and 6pm. At 5:45pm, we call the local number on the email because status says in transit. Took forever to get a human on the phone. When we did, they told us there was no delivery scheduled. Huh? Why did I sit at home for 8 hrs to have this TV delivered? They wouldn’t even look on their own website to see it was showing “In Transit”! I have no idea when or if the TV will come.

You just don't get any reply from them. Having trouble to get containers out of the harbour.

Got invoice from them to pay demurrage cost of over 10.000€ even though its there fault but can not get any one on the phone who is willed to help.

Never again maersk,
First increase costs with more than 2500usd (red sea)
Then not transport container from habour to terminal in destination country (payed over 10.000usd prepayed)
Then send invoice with over 5500usd for storage costs in habour and want sell container at auction ?
All papers are at maersk,
Call every day, no replay to mails, nothing
It tooks 2ctimes longer to get the container from bremerhaven to Container Terminal in Vienna, as from China to Europe

This is a fantastic company that ships hundreds of thousands of weapons to incinerate innocent children in Gaza. Two blown-off thumbs up.

If money doesn't matter to you at all anyway, if you like waiting days for an answer when you ask them a question then you have definitely come to the right place. If you like paying insanely high fees due to extra days of container rental then you should definitely go with this shipping company. Thanks Maersk we we do not do business with this company anymore, it was a terrible experience.

Worst line to ever deal with. Most unhelpful people you will ever come across. Your cargo will be accumulating storage by the thousands, whilst they take an entire day to respond.

Unfortunately it is not possible to give negative stars for this Maersk company in Rotterdam the Netherlands, what a poor service.
I would advise everyone not to do business with Maersk, as specially Maersk Rotterdam the Netherlands.
My Container has CIF deliver to the port of Amsterdam but been sitting in Rotterdam port for 2 weeks now with no movements.

Horrible company to have things shipped with. I had a bed scheduled to be delivered and these ding dongs did not give me a delivery time, so I stayed home all day. An unknown number called me and when I called back 10 minutes later, they did not answer or return my call. They told me I would have to wait another 2 days to get my bed delivered. I had to reschedule my laborers appointment because of these ding dongs. They need to be put out of business

They have stupid and idiotic policy they are taking over booking for a date and upon stuffing the container they do postpone to Next vessel. It means they are locking you up literally. Don't they have minimum sense how many bookings sufficient to a vessel? Wantedly they take over bookings and filling the next vessel with minimal guarantee.

They obviously have so many regular customers that they do not need any more, so I suggest you do not bother your time calling or emailing them, as they never answer my emails and nobody answers the 'phone.

Worst company every a professional scammer, They hold my container for 2 weeks and Kept charching me , one day the system is not working the other day to issue an invoice will takes time they kept charching me non stopping, then when they released my container they booked a delivery company to send the 40 Fet container, I thought the truck have a crane to put the container down o forklift, they assumed I have a magic ball to know what will happen in the future, they sent a container without any instruction on top of that when I asked who will deliver it they said we can not tell you , they wasted my money again as the container left back to the port , Its a legal requirement for the delivery company to contact a customer and inform them which type of service they have or to give the customer a chance to contact the delivery company they kept charging and charging , the customer services is soooooo bad never rely on their instructions or any information as they have no idea whats going on, If you do not push them and call them every day they will keep charging you .

The worst service possible. We work with so many shipping companies, but when comes to working with MAERSK that is real nightmare. We avoid working with them but unfortunately sometimes CIF imports come with them . This is for MAERSK TUrkey. maybe other countries' service is better, but here not 1 star if possible to give a negative star that will be the best rating.

Well, I can't say they are not a big company. They are. Sometimes they might come up as a first option if you are running a business or have an individual company and you need some solutions for shipping and logistics of real goods to your counterparties abroad.

That's allright. but sadly they are not the best option and there are better alternatives. there is a lot of room for improvement for these guys to fill. our personal experience was a bit of a combination, a mix of positives and negatives basically. You encounter inconsistencies in service delivery and you may have a hard time finding good support from their customer department. logistics solutions can also be cmplex and daunting sometimes especially if you are a small scale business or you don't deal with this stuff everyday. they are more for larger institutions and frequent shippers, not exactly ideal and suited for occasional users, i'd say.

Huge delay importing my household goods + car because of "contaminated soil" - used car will have dirt on it yah? Had to pay so much money for a carwash in Montreal and wait for my items another month before it arrived. Paid everything last year September 2023 yet keep getting Dunning Notices threatening 100USD if I don't pay. Emailed proof 15 times (each time ignored), called and was told they would look into and fix this in their system. Never did. Got another email again. TERRIBLE customer service from day one of the bullcrap car being held for dirt and then ignoring emails and consistently harassing me with these emails even though I have proof in writing that there is no hold, i have all my stuff, it's been paid, so holding fee for holding what exactly? One employee states they updated their system with proof of payment way back in September after payment was received and yet STILL getting emails harassing me for payment. Just god-awful incompetent workers

Amazon used them for my return. I filled out the form on 1/9 and they then had the carrier Forward Air contact me for pickup. They picked up the desk on 1/15. I had to contact Amazon because I had not even received a notice that they had received the desk. Well it is 1/22 and we were still trying to figure out where the desk is. Maersk says contact Forward Air, but tells Amazon to have me put in another p/u request and call them, just to get a nasty rep by the name of Jennifer who just laughed when I said I needed to file a theft report. She played the hot potato game and passed the potato to Forward Air and hung up. Thankfully Forward Air was able to find it in their warehouse still waiting for Pilot to come pick up! If you are a company thinking of contracting Maersk for your shipping... DON'T!!!
