We’re genuinely sorry to hear that this particular order did not meet your expectations in the same way as your previous experiences have. As all beef is a natural product, there can inevitably be variation in fat content, marbling, and overall appearance from one animal to another and from cut to cut. Having reviewed the photographs sent through, we do stand by the advice provided that the fat covering and marbling shown were completely normal for the cuts supplied. In fact, the steaks photographed looked excellent and very much in keeping with what many customers specifically look for in well flavoured beef.

That said, we do completely appreciate that personal preference varies considerably. Some customers prefer heavier marbling and fat coverage for flavour and tenderness, whilst others understandably prefer a much leaner finish. We offer a wide variety of cuts and specifications to suit different preferences and we are always more than happy to guide customers towards leaner options where requested.

We are, of course, disappointed that this order did not align with your personal preference, particularly as you have previously enjoyed orders from us, and we do genuinely appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

We’re pleased to hear that you were happy with the remainder of your order, although we are very sorry to hear that there was an issue with the chicken drumsticks. That is certainly not the standard we aim to provide.

As soon as the matter was brought to our attention, we of course processed a refund for the affected items, but we completely appreciate the disappointment and inconvenience this would still have caused.

We’re absolutely delighted to hear that your first order lived up to expectations after discovering us through Facebook. It sounds like you created some incredible meals for both yourself and your family gathering, and hearing how much everyone enjoyed the food genuinely means a huge amount to us.

From the diced steak pie and chilli through to the sirloin, fillet, pork loin, topside, sausages, bacon, and diced chicken, it’s wonderful to know everything was such a success. We especially loved hearing about the crispy roast potatoes cooked in beef dripping too.
