From time to time, like all retailers, we do unfortunately encounter items going out of stock unexpectedly. Whilst we appreciate this is frustrating, we did immediately process a refund for the unavailable items as soon as your order was dispatched.

In relation to the sirloin steaks, we are genuinely disappointed to hear your comments, as this is a product that receives enormously positive feedback from the vast majority of our customers. We would very much have welcomed the opportunity to discuss your concerns directly and try to resolve the issue for you. However, from what we can see, we haven’t received any direct contact regarding the steaks themselves.

We always encourage open dialogue with our customers because customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. Whilst occasional issues can arise with any company, we are always very keen to investigate concerns and do everything we reasonably can to put matters right.

It sounds like you put together an amazing feast there. The short bone tomahawks are always a real showstopper, but we’re especially pleased to hear the Chinese chicken thighs stole the show. They’ve become a huge favourite with so many of our customers.

We also really appreciate you mentioning the packaging and insulation. A great deal of care goes into making sure our parcels arrive in optimal condition, so it’s fantastic to hear the ice pack was still frozen on arrival.

As all of our beef is a natural product, there can occasionally be some variation in shape and thickness depending on the size and section of the animal the steaks are cut from, so we really appreciate your understanding regarding this.

We’re genuinely delighted to hear that your son enjoyed the food so much, especially the ribeye. “Lip smacking” is certainly the sort of feedback our butchery team love to hear. We’re also really pleased that the pie and chicken went down so well too.

We are, however, very sorry to hear about your experience with the courier deliveries. We absolutely understand your frustration, particularly given the weight of the parcels and the importance of having sufficient time to answer the door. Whilst the vast majority of DPD deliveries are carried out excellently, we completely appreciate your concerns regarding the occasions where the parcel has been left too quickly on the doorstep and we are actively engaging with DPD to help improve that.

We will certainly pass your feedback on to DPD, as parcels should always be delivered with appropriate care and consideration. Thank you again for your support and your honesty in sharing both the positives and the areas where improvement is needed.
