ordered christmas hamper, meanet to be delivered within 3-5 days. 10 days later still trying to contact tham via phone and email. have no idea if i am getting my hamper and nearlt 80 pounds out of pocket. they have my money and i have no meat. thanks for ruining my little christmas with my sons. cant afford to get anything elkse as used last of my wages for hamper

Have used this crowd for years, firstly via franchisee at local market which packed up, then local store, which packed up, then finally for last 2 years online regularly. Up until my last order, everything been fine but now, as like so many others I've spent £100 and received nothing. Order is now 2 weeks overdue, no response whatsoever to the half dozen emails, the voice mailbox is full so won't allow messages so I've initiated refund claim via PayPal. Sadly I won't be the last and should have seen the reduction in their sales network as a warning of things to come. To be honest the quality has deteriorated as well. I don't buy chicken from them now as last lot was on verge when it arrived and just smelled wrong so we binned it to be on the safe side. Rib eye was awful. Only saviour are the sausages and bacon.
Update. Order arrived yesterday. Everything there and looks OK, although the packaging designed to keepnet chilled isn't doing its job. They use a large foil bag with ice packs in too big a box. Contents had spread sufficiently to move away from ice packs and majority of sausages and bacon were at outside/room temp. Fortunately it was fairly cold and parcels left on porch Top side looks to be good although it may morph once cooked ! Had email day before saying backlog of orders the cause. Would recommend not using the online northern number with useless customer service and Google the Shoreham number as that seems to be answering. Sadly this appears to be the classic 'selling the soul to the devil' and forgetting about what others had built up.

Poor customer service. The last time I ordered I had to chase delivery which was very quickly resolved but this time I put my order in an order on 26th November and am still waiting for delivery or a response to any of my 4 emails I have sent chasing my order!
They do not answer their phones either. Absolutely poor and unacceptable service

just received my christmas hamper and steak/ chicken fillet packs today, first time ordering and will definitely order again looks fab.

Previous orders were okay. Meat is fine, not excellent quality but alright. This year the delivery of orders is abysmal. Don't know when they are supposed to arrive, it's much longer than advertised on the website. I'm currently waiting for a order that is a week overdue and Malpass customer service Dave doesn't seem to even know where it is, whether on route or not packed yet. Currently waiting to hear if I'll get my order this month or if I'll be refunded. Either way, this is the last time I order here.

I am giving malpass a break , I have ordered about 10 times, the meat quality is great and good value, it’s a shame of late that they aren’t communicating on delivery so it’s hard to plan your meals because you don’t know when it will arrive and more a shame that they don’t just tell people where they stand …. I don’t care if it takes a fortnight but tell me that ! I do hope they sort it out because it’s good meat ….. perhaps they have just got too big and lost control …..? All the best malpass

I have been ordering meat from Malpass for some time and never had any problem - until now. I ordered goods on the 20/11/21 - the money went out the bank quickly. Looking at there website it tells me that my order should be delivered on Wednesday 24th November 2021 - guess what no delivery. I have TRIED to contact Malpass 4 times. Finally today Friday 26th November I got a reply " You should get your order tomorrow" Saturday 27th November. If companies are having problems WHY DON'T THEY CONTACT THE CUSTOMER. It is rude to ignore when a customer is trying to contact you.

Whilst the quality of the meat is very good I have had nothing but problems trying to sort my subscription out. I don't get responses from calls, Mail box is full and never answered), no response to web chat and no response to emails. I have ordered subscriptions and then hear nothing more. All I want to do is know it is in place and when the subsequent boxes are being sent out. Poor customer service, which is a real shame

Been having filet steak from these for some time now and have been excellent, the latest 9 packs for £65 has been rubbish and is not filet from a cow, such a shame will be going elsewhere.
Please do not part with any cash to this fish and chip shop firm, read all the reviews!
Malpass I hope someone takes you to court !

Terrible. Ordered my meat last Monday and after phone calls and emails, still not response or delivery. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Never again will I buy from Malpass, I'm so disappointed with my latest order, I have been a customer for some years now, firstly in store, and more recently online. I arranged for my order to be sent to my parents as we are at work all day, after 5 days, I emailed to ask when I could expect delivery, I waited 3 days for a reply, then to be told my order would be delivered at the weekend, knowing my parents would be away, I asked for an address change.Eventually, I was told this would be ok, the following day, I received an email to tell me that my order was out for delivery ( to my parents house) Luckily I have spare keys. On arriving home , I took a look at my order, the packing was shocking, honestly, my grandson could've packed it better, do they just throw it in and seal it up??? and I found that the packs of chicken fillets I normally buy, have shrunk by half, but not the price, £40 for 2x 2kg bags, when I normally pay £40 for 2x 4kg no thankyou

If gold medals were awarded for incompetence than look no further. Like so many recent reviews on this company I have been let down with a delivery promised for Wednesday and as I write this review it’s Friday and still nothing. They refuse to answer emails or phone calls. Past experiences have always been positive but clearly something has gone very wrong which is a shame. Stay well clear.

Received my order on the 5th November, ordered 24th October so not 3-5 working days as advertised. Package was delivered by DPD and temperature of contents was +4.7 degrees. Short of sausages was advertised 1.2 kg but actually 800g . Contacting the company by phone is impossible as just a recorded message and don’t reply to email. Very poor service

I've been using Malpass online deliveries for a little over a year and they've always been brilliant. This time has been so bad I think I'm going to shop elsewhere in future. I got no warning the delivery would be late and it was 4 days after the expected delivery date before they responded to my messages. I was told they were busy with a rush of orders which would've been an acceptable explanation had they told me this before my expected delivery date. They then failed to deliver for a second time 2 days later. Again no communication and no response to my message. I advised them I wanted a refund and filed for a charge back with my bank yesterday. My order has just turned up this morning 4th Nov. I ordered on 24th Oct. I gave a 2nd star only because my whole order was there, unlike many on here who had items missing.

Brilliant service got a email saying when it was gokg to be delivered no issues. Great packaging all good. 5 stars.

Very poor customer service ordered on the 24 oct now the 3 rd November still nothing tried phoning no one answers up to now have been pleased with deliver now will not use it again

The only positive is that the meat was delivered albeit 6 days later than expected
My main criticism is the lack of communication informing me of delays, and the fact that your phones appear not to have been getting answered.

Up until my last order I've been Happy with my orders, but this time it was a week late and one item was missing from my order.
