delivery company they use are a take on of Laurel & Hardy.. the courier delivered a mattress , offered no help, it was basically a kerbside delivery and they disappeared. When we unpacked it it was completely the wrong mattress to the wrong address. We were in a total panic as our old mattress had been taken away and there was no sign of our new mattress and we had the wrong order. Dealing with an item of this size was no mean feat!
I telephoned Mattressman straight away and asked for their help in getting the courier to return. I was told they couldn’t do this.. instead I should take photos of the mattress delivered and all the packaging and then they would be in contact to let me know when it could be collected.. really? Why? This is abysmal after service. I sent an e mail, along with all the photos.. 48 hours later, no reply , no apology.. nothing.
My advice , if you are checking if this company is good to order from, is DONT.. shop elsewhere if you want to avoid hassle and grief with your order.
Dont use mattress collection
I paid extra for my old mattress to be taken away but the delivery driver said he couldn’t take it as mattress man hadn’t provided a bag for it (which apparently is supplied by you) & he couldn’t for health & safety reasons. There’s nothing wrong with the old mattress & he didn’t even look at it. He just left the new mattress at the top of the stairs for us to deal with. Said he can’t use the new mattress covering to take the old one either. There was nothing in the order process that provided any of this information. Contacted you & hopefully you will send a bag & collect on weds but who knows?! I was also treated on the phone like I had done something wrong!! I paid for a service & you messed it up. I really wish I had bought this elsewhere but I chose you exactly because you’ll recycle the old one. They also charge you £37 for an overpriced mattress protector & if you don’t buy it. You can’t return it after 60 days. I already own & use mattress protectors & you can tell if anyone uses it or not anyway. FYI delivery company was BJS & they were equally rubbish so I’d steer clear of these people if I were you. Not a happy customer and they did not deal with the situation well which might have avoided this review.
Shambles of a delivery
We ordered our new mattress from Northampton branch, very nice salesman. We paid £50 to have our old mattress taken away and the new one put in our bedroom. The delivery men took our old mattress out and put on the road then said they couldn’t take the new one upstairs because they were worried about knocking pictures off the wall… my husband removed the pictures…they said they were taking it back to the warehouse leaving us with no mattress at all! Numerous phone calls later we had to agree that if the mattress was damaged or our furniture damaged getting new mattress upstairs then it was our responsibility 😡so to sum it up, they quite happily took old mattress out but couldn’t put new mattress in … disgusting behaviour, it was obvious these men did not know what they were doing - yet it cost us £50 for that service

This company is a joke you do not get a 60 night trial just tried to exchange a mattress for another as I have had back pain from it it was a medium but it felt more like a firm and was told I needed to provide a photograph of the bed frame as it is in their policy details he was very rude and refused to help in any way you should be able to put a mattress on the floor and sleep on it if you wish they don't refund either on returns the reviews are fake don't be fooled absolutely discusted will go to dreams from now on .

I had my first sleep on my sealy wellbreak ortho firm mattress and honestly l was in “Bed Heven “ good name if you ever want to change … as usual I always wake up a few times during the night but l felt very relaxed would definitely recommend this mattress plus the company are very professional thanks a million mattressman 👍💯

Awful company, I think half of the reviews are fake. Purchased a mattress which I absolutely hated. It gave me back pain after a week. I tried returning or exchanging but they had assumed I had taken the plastic sheet off the mattress.. which i had but they didn't know. How can someone test a mattress with the plastic sheet? I purchased the mattress protector for a reason.. extra £34 by the way. But they just didn't want to know!!! Don't be fooled by the 60 night trial.i feel scammed to be honest.
Also, I company of the mattress "Hypnos" offer x amount of nights to try, with a mattress protector and no plastic bag on the mattress and you can return it. I will be informing hypnos of this company and their policies as they are selling their mattresses.

Snuggle low end double bed
The bed I ordered (Snuggle Double Low End) is of a quality matching the price, that is, quite cheap. It could do with fewer wooden dowels and more metal bolts to make it last longer.
My main quibble is with the instructions and fixing kit.
The instructions have too many errors and omissions. You need to read it (with a magnifying glass) very carefully, and notice the errors before you start.
The fixing kit comes with one small allen key. I also needed: a philips screwdriver, a much longer handled allen key, and a power drill, as most of the holes for the big screw/bolts (screws with blunt ends) were not pre-drilled deep enough. Half of the dowel pegs were missing, and as the bed was replacing the one collected on the same day I had to make the bed without the dowels so that my disabled brother had a bed to sleep in.
Customer services were helpful and sent out an extra fixing kit the next day. Now I have to take the bed apart again to put the dowels in.

Great service from start to finish - store staff very attentive and helpful, order made efficiently and arrived earlier than expected. Delivered by Keith & Remi (Norwich) who were so polite and helpful as my husband was away and I was looking after my 10m old grandson - they delivered all the packages into the bedroom for me. On the headboard, one single button was missing - called customer services to order the single button and they arranged a complete replacement headboard to be delivered the following week. 5-star all the way
Super smooth
Customer service was great when I needed to amend my order. We were given a 2 hour delivery slot the night before it was due and our driver Keith contacted us when he was on his way. Delivery was smooth. When we put the bed together all the pieces were there and it was easy to assemble. We would definitely recommend and use them again
