This site is a mess
This site is a mess. I changed my address with both the banking and website. Placed an order that is going to an address that I moved from years ago. Been on the phone for hours with the run around. Don't bother go to the store.

Do not open a Mauriceâs credit card. The customer service is awful. I was charged a late fee for paying a few hours late on the due date. Did not realize it and paid the late fee 2 days late. Was then assessed another late fee and when I called they told me I now had another late fee for the late fee. So $96 in late fees for a $48 purchase I paid a few hours late. The customer service person just kept reading off a script. I only use the credit card to get rewards which donât happen very often anyways. It is NOT worth it. This was my favorite store but not sure I will be back.

I've tried 3 times to order online with my Msstercard. Every time I get a message Instantly saying Mastercard is freezing my account because of the high amount of fraud from this business!
So, I had to call to free up my card. I had the opportunity to re-order, so I did...after they warned me! I never received an e-mail confirming my order. I called the store that it was to be shipped to and they had No record of my order, But.. my card was charged!
I really Love their clothes but will have to drive at least 35 minutes to the closest store. Abd hopefully the credit card service won't flag my card Again!

I've never had a bad experience at any Maurices I have shopped so I don't know what's happening at the other stores or if people just expect red carpet treatment.
As far as the credit card issues, that's a Commenity Bank issue not Maurices, and Maurices can not fix the bank issues so giving them a bad rating because of the bank holding the credit cards doesn't make sense.

I love that Maurices has clearly made some changes recently - they have clothes that are cute and stylish again, and I love all of the social media reels they are putting out lately, showing off everyone's unique take on styling their clothing.

I had not visited Maurices for a long time, not loving the look or quality of the clothing, but recently there is great improvement in both of these areas. The real purpose of this review is to commend the staff of the New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. They are helpful, polite and clearly the team is happy and work well together. It makes shopping a pleasure to go to the store that provides a very pleasant experience. Thank you to the lovely Manager and all the employees who make an effort.
I am cutting my card up
I am cutting my card up. Recently, I was in a Maurice's store and agreed to get a credit card and then paid for my purchases at the same time with the same clerks. I just got a bill for my purchases. They put the payment on an old 5 year old card and billed me. They can not apply the money to the new statement without a dispute. I hope the dispute happens before the date of payment or it will effect my credit rating. The claims person suggested I pay the bill and be reimbursed. Why? It is not my fault that Maurices screwed up. This is ridiculous and what a racket. Just always keep your receipts for instances like this.

Visited my Clovis, CA store and Desirea was a delight to work with. She greeted me as I walked into the store. She helped me find what I needed and set me up in a fitting room. It's very uncomfortable for me to do clothing shopping but she gave me all of her attention and eased my worries on finding what I needed.

Do not shop from this store. Iâve had a Mauriceâs credit card years ago but they are now predatory. I only got the card to get a discount. 2 pairs of pants for 37.00. I paid on time online but apparently even if you pay on due date they claim it wonât post till it processes. So the next month I wanted to pay it off. Apparently what showed up online was not my full balance. I went back over everything and couldnât believe the interest they were charging. Late fees on top of late fees. This used to be comenity bank which is now bread financial. Do NOT get a credit card from Mauriceâs or one affiliated with bread financial. I now owe almost 70.00 on a 37.00 purchase. Absolutely disgraceful. I will never step foot in Mauriceâs again, and I will not ever own another store credit card. I believe theyâre all becoming predatory and deceptive.

I have been shopping at Mauriceâs for nearly 20 years and never had a problem until today. I made an order last night after hours and for some reason it it got shipped to the wrong address. I called immediately but since it was after hours I could get help. But they will only allow 30 minutes to change the order. Now they are refusing to cancel or reroute. Now they are saying just to call UPS to reroute. So they donât help or donât take responsibility for the flaws in their system. Mauriceâs has lost a long time customer.
Shirts shrink excessively
I love my store in Muncy, PA. The girls are so helpful. I love the jeans but I feel like all the shirts I buy shrink extremely bad after one wash. I dry on low heat but always end up being short.

Applied for a credit card after being a customer for the majority of my life. I got approved it woulsnt let me use the credit card online where I applied but said when I applied that the 30% off offered with first purchase would be sent with my card but when I finally got it and used it it didnt apply called and they claim you only have 24 hrs to use it. Thats not what it said instead of remedies they offered to just close my credit card account. The clothes have went to shit both in style and quality. I only buy jeans the Kancans are decent but Silver jeans have also went to shit the material is so thin might as well be wearing leggings. Customer Service is a scam
I really love Maurices and have been an avid shopper for close to 20 years now. Honestly half my wardrobe is from this store which is why this upsets me so much. I wonât be spending a dime more at Maurices after my latest experience.
During the most recent âTick Tockâ sale, I ordered a significant amount of clothing and accessories during the sale. I ordered online and during the check out process, I updated my shipping and billing address again. Now I havenât lived at my previous address for 3 years and have updated my info on Mauriceâs website a few times to reflect my new address. During the check out process, I noticed once again my old address was set as the default so I reentered my new address and deleted my previous address. Same for billing, updating my card on file and associated address. Before checking out I checked to make sure both addresses were correct before submitting.
Once I submitted, I did not receive the confirmation email right away and did not think to check for it when it wasnât in my inbox initially. I went on about my evening and later that night I checked again. That is when I noticed my billing address was correct but my shipping had once again reverted back to my previous address.
I need to state here that my order was placed on Sunday evening so there was no âcustomer serviceâ available to help that night. So I reached out via email as well as the âchatâ option the next morning and was told repeatedly there was nothing to be done about the address, all changes needed to be made within 30 minutes of the order being submitted. I asked to just cancel the order and was told I could not cancel because it had been 30 minutes. Ok, so I asked what my options were since I could not change my address or cancel my order. I was told I could contact UPS once my order shipped to change my address for delivery.
Well today I received my shipping notification so I did as I was told. I contacted UPS to change my address and initially was told it would be $48.62 PER package (I have at least 2 as of now) to change addresses. So itâs going to cost me close to $100 to change the delivery address. As I am trying to pay for this, UPS informs me that Maurices has restrictions placed on changing the address and I cannot complete the change of address.
Iâm honestly fuming. I have never experienced worse âcustomer serviceâ in my life. I did everything I was told to do, and it was going to cost me $100 to change my address. And then PLOT TWIST: Maurices does not allow for address changes per UPS. I literally cannot do anything but tell my bank to dispute the charges at this point and hope they will get me my money back. I hope this is a lesson to anyone else not to trust this company. Iâve never been more disappointed. Buyer beware.
Legit Company and goods
I have been in the store and our local and even out of area Maurice's have great staff. Clothing is nice and fits well, if it snags or is damaged normally they replace it. Always a great place for clothing for a bigger girl and even smaller girls
