I used to be a Maurice's fan
I used to be a Maurice's fan, but now am completely disappointed in the store. I had 2 recent problems:
1. I bought a shirt and it had damage. I returned it to the store and they ordered me a new one. When the replacement came, I discovered that they charged me a second time for the same garment. It took 2 phone calls and I guess I will find out next month if they really gave me the refund on my credit card. Also, how did they get my Mastercard number???
2. I bought some black jeans and when I washed them, they got all streaky. I took them back to the store and was told that nothing could be done.
This is not the way to keep customers.

Terrible customer service. They would rather close your account than make things right. I have been a customer for 25 years and just closed my account, so disappointing.

If you have stores in Canada then why not have a Canadian website? Got fooled and was charged in American dollars. Was told it was stated and when i checked it was in tiny writing at the bottom left. Not really a deal when the order ends up being double the price.

I used to ADORE this company and loved buying clothes from there! However, their clothing gets more and more expensive, but made cheaper and cheaper. Very poor quality of clothing! I applied for credit card to get the BENEFITS THEY SAY THEY OFFER, got approved on the spot. Could not use the card on their end so the benefits they offered if I got approved I did not get. They never mailed me a card, went to the store had to get help there. Store was great, they said customer service sending new card. Got that card, I tried to use that card to get the benefits they stated they offered if you use their card, again, could not use that card since that card was mailed to me WITHOUT a expiration date. When I called to ask about the date they said, "sorry, we need to mail you another card". They did. Same thing happened, no expiration date. Called them because I wanted to make an online purchase again. I then asked how I could purchase what I wanted online and to still get the BENEFITS OF USEING THEIR CARD with my online purchase, they said, "sorry, you cannot"....so, another purchase made my AMEX to get what I wanted BUT STILL NO CARD BENEFITS WERE GOING TO BE GIVEN TO ME....NO REASON TO HAVE THEIR CREDIT CARD. Pain in the butt, I tried to close my credit card and they said it will automatically close in 5-8 months if I do not use it. I asked why I could not close it right now, they said it will automatically close and it currently has a $0 balance so there is no issue with that. I stated, "zero balance because I cannot use it", they replied, "we can send you another card". NOPE, 3rd card in 2 months that I could not use....service is horrible and benefits they offer with a card was a nightmare and never did get.

I love the products but trying to order online is a nightmare..my last order was canceled 3 times and I missed out on a lot of savings I do have a credit card with Maurices which I love because I can save but a lot of my sizes arenât in store so I have to order which I can never get to go through so Iâve just been ordering elsewhere
The worst customer service in storeâŠ
The worst customer service in store Waterville Maine. The first time I decided to stop by after 8 months or so to see if maybe management had changed and taught help to be courteous, nope! Final time for a quick stop gift card for my daughter in law for Christmas, 3 staff at register and myself the only shopper in the store. Do you think one of them could acknowledge my standing there, again no! Thatâs enough for Maurice. I hope you survive these trying times with such attitude.
Charged my bank account TWICE for anâŠ
Charged my bank account TWICE for an online order. They wonât correct their error even after I sent them proof of the overcharge. Tried to contact their âcustomer serviceâ and spent over half an hour on hold. I have left several messages and a call back number to reach me. Nothing! I have never experienced such horrible customer service. I still donât have what I ordered because they donât deliver when they say they will. I will never shop here again.
Beware! Payments post after 72 hours!
So apparently if you make your payment to Mauriceâs two days before the bill is due you will be charged a late fee. The payment will not process for 72 hours. And thinking you had satisfied the bill you wonât be contacted again until the next late fee is past due. Beware! They will hit your credit score and you are helpless!!! They just lost a customer who shopped there often for myself and family members. This companies handling of customer service is deeply lacking.
Horrible customer service!!
Found a top that I liked in their store. They didn't have my size but offered to order it online and have it shipped to my home for free. Perfect! When the clerk was filling in my information she asked for my address, gave it to her and even spelled it for her. When I got home and received the email confirmation I noticed the address was spelled WRONG. (Not even close to the correct spelling). Called the store right away and they directed me to call their customer service #. Called them immediately. . After waiting almost 15 minutes on hold before talking to an agent, I was informed there was nothing they could do and I would have to call UPS customer service to get the address changed! I was not able to do that without a tracking #! It has been three days since the order was placed, still no tracking #. Customer service was of no help at all. This whole experience has been frustrating especially since the error was on the sales person for not putting the correct address in the system. I will probably never see this item which is frustrating as it was to be used for a Christmas gift. But I have learned my lesson and won't be shopping at Maurice's in the futures
Horrible customer service, deceptive stock on website
I placed my first ordered at mauruces.com. Added two sweaters since they were on sale since I was ordering the jeans. At no point during checkout was I informed the the pants were out of stock or backordered. They charged my card the full amount. I went to check status today, and the jeans show 0 quantity. Contacted customer service. Was told pants on backorder. No date for when the pants will be in stock. Asked to cancel the tops since I wasn't informed. Representative refused. Asked if they could refund the pants, which I have no idea when they will be coming. Representative refused and offered me a coupon. Absolutely ridiculous. This is my first and last time shopping here. I'll be returning anything that arrives if it ever comes.
The worst customer service
I went to order some shirts off their website. Never received a confirmation email or anything saying that the order was placed. On my account it shows an order number, but then gives me an error code when I click to track the order. Never hit my bank account thankfully. I went onto the website to talk to customer service - I waited 15 minutes for the agent to respond. She told me she would look at it and "be right back," 35 minutes later still nothing. You'd be better off going into the store to buy anything. Customer service is terrible.

Was in the store today in Kernersville and I was greater with a big smile from Chatisy. She was so pleasant and very nice. She made me feel like I have known her all my life. She helped me find a size in jeans that I needed. They fit perfect. I shop in this store quite often. At least once or twice a week. The clothes are always so nice and the store is very clean. They are the worst customer service IâŠ
They are the worst customer service I have ever seen! I drove over 30 min to go to their store over an order their website created that had no items but was trying to charge me $25. They told me only their customer service number could fix it. I called and have been waiting over 3 hours and not a single person answered or let me know how many people are in front of me or how long I have left. I finally made a second call while I was waiting and chose the text instead and it took over an hour for a customer representative to contact me. Even in the text they took forever to respond back and even tried to pawn me off on the number I was waiting on the other line for over 3 hours when I asked for the order number that is canceled. I wasted over 3 hours of my life and 30 min of gas money over a mistake THEY MADE. Anyone that has an issue with Maurices just go to your bank instead and have them forced to cancel any glitches Maurices creates. Going through customer service DOES NOTHING!!!
