Horrible communication and unreliable inventory
I was a loyal Maurices customer for the past 10 years and have exclusively bought my jeans from them up until now. Every time I've gone into the local store the selection of sizes is disappointing. Finding a pair of size 16 regular jeans in their Maurices brand is almost impossible.
I decided to go ahead and place an order for 2 pairs of Maurices size 16 regular slim bootcut jeans on September 12th. As of September 17th the order is still processing. I reached out to Maurices via chat and was told that there's low inventory and the warehouse is looking for available stock in other facilities. I was also told the warehouse will contact me with a shipping date when inventory is found. There was no notice from Maurices prior to this about the items being delayed due to low inventory.
If there was no inventory available then the jeans should not be available to purchase on their site. Horrible communication from Maurices and I'm tired of the inventory issues.
Made the mistake of buying a gift cardâŠ
Made the mistake of buying a gift card online to pick up at the store. DON'T DO IT! The store never recieved it, even though I got repeated emails telling me it was ready to pick up at that store. The sweet gals at the store were on hold with customer service for 4o mins. and where assured my $300 refund was on the way. Never was. I called customer service and said they couldn't help me - had to go to a different dept. that would "get back to me". Theft.
Terrible Customer Service
I placed an order online and it took 3 weeks to receive my orders. I went today to pick up my orders and my order for 4 ladies tops were not in my package. Instead there were two size 4 little girl tops and 2 little girl necklaces! I asked the sales clerk at the store to help me return the items and she no we can not take back any online purchases. This is the Conroe Tx store off of League Line Rd. Wow! Terrible customer service. Iâm not sure who this company has working in their Wharehouse but obviously they need a better quality and order control person. Donât order from this store you will be disappointed! Here is their return policy on the Mauriceâs web page but they did not honor it!

First time shopping with the company and the last
First time shopping with, and ordering from Maurice's, and it will be my last. I ordered a pair of shoes, order came and I got a right size 6 and a left size 7.5. I chatted in and asked customer service what to do, and after 10 minutes of waiting someone finally answered. Each response was at least a 4-5 minute wait, which is a joke! The agent refunded me the shoes, and when I asked her if I could just have a new pair sent out, she said they only had 9 in stock, which is not what the website showed.
In the same order, I ordered a black skirt, and they canceled it without telling me! I only found out when I went in to check my status. I looked at the same skirt online and they showed everything was available. So I have no idea why they canceled the skirt.
Then, from the same order, I finally get an email saying they canceled the skirt and that a shirt I ordered will be delivered on 13th. Later in the day, I get another email saying the shirt would be delivered the 14th.
Worst shopping experience ever.
First & Last Time I Will Shop Here
I shop at Torrid regularly, but Mauriceâs is right across from them in the mall so I finally decided to check them out as I need a new pair of black pants for work. Not one employee greeted me when I came in. One of them passed me multiple times and didnât bother to ask if I needed help finding my size, which I did need the help. Then when Iâm ready to try them on, no one is at the dressing room and I have to go to the register where two employees are just chitchatting. I ended up loving two of the pairs I tried on, but I was so disgusted with the lack of customer service, I put the jeans back where I got them from and walked out. I walked by the register multiple times and got nothing from the two standing there. I will stick with Torrid, they have amazing customer service! I feel like companies just donât care about how their employees are treating their customers anymore. Iâm seeing a lack of customer service everywhere and itâs what will send me to another store. Not a good first impression.

Went for sip snack and $5 tees. A real joke. No one mentioned anything about it. Two girls âworkingâ just laughing and talking. No sign about $5 tees. I had to ask. Tees I wanted to try on were very high. Had to get hook and tried to get down myself. No help in dressing rooms. Had to keep getting dressed to go get different size. Very poor customer service. Saw something I liked but didnât get it because I was so disgusted with service. I was the only customer in store.

I wasn't going to shop at Maurices Hermiston. My last shopping experience was terrible. I'm certainly glad I went in last night. The sales associate Ashley went up and beyond her sales expectations. She helped me find the perfect outfits for my nieces wedding and reception. Right down to the size accessories and shoes. I can't thank her enough. She needs a raise and employee of the year if you have such a thing? Coodoo's to her! I'll be back to shop at Maurices.

Has been repeatedly sending me communications regarding their site/orders I never used/placed for some lass called 'Nikie' which started around the start of the COVID panic.
Absolutely zero support for over 2 years, continues to send automated emails, their 'STOP' response doesn't work at all.

I placed an online order on 1/10/23 to be delivered to the store closest to me. On 1/17/23 I went back online to check the status, it showed items had been delivered to the store. Called store, they stated they had not received. Called Customer service, who also contacted store received same info. Representative the checked warehouse and the items I ordered were no longer available. Rep said the would issue refund. I noticed the charge was still listed on my February Maurices credit card statement so I called Comenity who gave my acct a provisional credit per investigation. On 3/14/23 they sent a letter stating they were charging my acct due to no communication from Maurices along with interest. On 3/19/23 I contacted Maurices Customer service and found the credit was never issued back in January, so credit was issued at that time supposedly!!!! I was told it would take 3 to 5 days for it to show on my acct. I spoke with a supervisor on the 5th day who said the charge of 58.63 plus the interest of 4.02 would be the by the end of day but he would send an expedite email to billing dept anyway. As of 3/27/23 they have credited my acct 85 cents

Absolutely love the store & customer service at the Plymouth Indiana location. When I order online I have all items shipped there & shop in this store also. Always friendly & knowledgable employees.
Poor customer service
I've shopped with Maurices for many years and have always been treated with courtesy, no matter the location. The past three months, I"ve visited two stores, one in Rochester, MN and Decorah IA. Not one employee greeted me nor anyone else when entering the store. One employee was complaining about a previous customer. I understand that others 'actions can be annoying. It is unprofessional to share those negative comments when others can hear. Customers need to be recognized when entering the store. It may be the last time I visit or purchase items, as local boutiques value their customers.

i haven't had any trouble with shipping or buying in store. the only thing is i am big in the waist area and the medium's fit great on the top area of my body,but the top doesn't fit around the waist so i have to buy a large then it's to big in the arms,chest etc..
CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESNT EXIST
Placed order for 2 tops, with store delivery on 11/25/2022. One top was ready for pick up in a couple days. As of 12/13/2022 the other is nowhere to be found, even though itâs literally in stock in the store it was supposed to be shipped to. Other than a âlable createdâ the day after the order, the shipping never updated again for this one top. I chatted, emailedâŠwas told due to high holiday volumeâŠwhen I received it I could get a refund. Long story short, I paid with paypal, filed a claim and got a refund today. Most their stuff can be bought on Amazon or other boutiques, so save yourself the headache. Maurices is trash.

I used to love Mauriceâs! Bought pretty much all of my clothes through them! The past few days they have shown their true colors! Sneaky, underhanded, lying, to name a few characteristics. I have many examples, but one would be a representative refusing to answer my question when I asked for the total the representative told me he couldnât tell me the price until I gave him my credit card number! Got the credit card through them was charged numerous late fees 2 months after I had paid off the card due to something that happened out of my control. I did what customer service told me to do and was still charged anyway. They steal your money throw your name in the mud and ended up having to close my card because of it. Absolutely disgusted

I have been a cardholder for 13 years. The problem I am having is that I have been locked out of my account for months! All I get from customer service is that their password resets are handled by another company. Maurice's has known of this issue for awhile and will not take the necessary steps to correct this problem!

I order items and they ship to the store, and the store can't ever find it. They have you call maurices and you wait 20 min. Then they put you on hold 2-3 times and tell you your order was shipped to the store, but they can refund or reorder. I asked for a reorder and I am put on hold again and they come back and say it is no longer available!! This had happened far too many times. I love they clothing but obviously the company has problems.
