Been ordering from Mercola for several…

Been ordering from Mercola for several years and spent maybe thousands. Beginning of March told you were having warehouse issues and shipping my products was delayed. The vitamins did arrive and I was sent emails as to their delivery status. ***Now, Order #021230934 dated April 1, 2026 (tonite is April 7) has not been shipped and no date is given. Further, the memo doesn’t even list the Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B complex. It only lists: “Lutein - being processed; Magnesium - being processed; and Sleep Support - being processed. What does “being processed” mean? Where are the Vitamin D3k2 and Vitamin B complex? I am out of these supplements because I have not received the supplements in a timely manner. Just refund my money if you cannot be responsible - and you have shown that to be the case. I find your service unprofessional and harmful as I need these vitamins. Vivian

**Glory be. Box of supplements arrived a couple days later. One vitamin missing but it always takes longer. Whew

REC’D EMAIL STATING THE $13 monthly discount and the $40 market cash I couldn’t use when ordered the vitamins but owing to me promised for ten days would arrive in my bank. The $13 showed in my bank but NOT THE $40 PROMISED IN THE EMAIL. WHEN I CALLED TOLD TO EXPECT IT THIS AFTERNOON. NOTHING. Maybe spent hours on the phone trying to ascertain when I would finally receive the supplements and now there is no refund of $40 AS PROMISED IN THE EMAIL AND ON THE PHONE.

** Rec’d a call from the lovely Caitlin whom I trust to resolve the issue. NOW, hours later read a message from the Mercola team appearing to have been written before her call. YOU HAVE WRITTEN TOTAL FALSEHOODS. I do not believe Mercola support can get anything correct, based on my exasperating experience of the last ten days. Caitlin got it right but I see your response written before her call got absolutely everything incorrect. I am wondering about your competency.

We do see a $20 return processed for a promo code that was not applied at the time of your order.

For your most recent order, it was shipped in two separate packages, which is why the initial email only reflected part of the shipment. Based on both tracking numbers, the order shows as delivered in full as of Monday 4/6. This was the order that was placed on Wednesday 4/1.

That said, we understand you mentioned a missing item. Please let us know exactly which product you did not receive, and we will be happy to reship it to you right away.

Poor quality organic cotton products

Their SITO organic cotton towels are the worst towels I've ever had. I've never had any other towel have so many pulled out threads and loops no matter how old they were. They did not want to give any refund or replacement past 90 days. I'm thankful for the health knowledge that Dr. Mercola has given me, but this makes me question the quality of their other products. I also bought the organic cotton womens underwear which were very thin & didn't last long either, easily getting holes along the seams. Interesting how their website no longer allows product reviews like it used to. Buyer beware.

I’m echoing what a couple of others have said…
Placed order 2 weeks ago and it’s still ‘processing’! I was told that there’s an issue with the warehouse and they’re unable to cancel the order.
I do like a lot of Mercola products which I usually purchase on Amazon. So I guess this is a lesson in patience …

Took my money and want me to wait a month.

Their order site allowed me to purchase the product that was not in stock. Waited 13 days to call them my order still had not been processed. Customer service said it could still be another week or two before the product is back in stock. They KNEW it wasn't in stock and didn't bother to let me know and ask whether I wanted to wait or a refund. American businesses are really going down hill. Mediocrity is their new excellence.

Careful trusting reviews from a less than honest manufacturer!

When a company uses gatekeeping and clickbait on your website, you should always think twice about giving them your hard earned money. By requiring an email address for instant access—followed by a pop up that essentially states that was a lie & reader is now REQUIRED to verify email “to protect email privacy.” More deceit. This indicates a company that does not operate with integrity or honesty. If you aren’t being transparent with your ridiculous gate keeping requirements for readers to access info on the website, why would you be honest with the results of herbal supplements etc. Do better Dr Mercola & Co.

Shockingly incompetent handling of orders

It is difficult to find anything that Mercola gets right in terms of shipment of international orders and handling of customer complaints.

To be fair to the company, their products as such are fairly good. However, when it comes to international delivery, the term "incompetence" takes a whole new dimension.

I ordered a number of Mercola products (Order O20964430) on November 21, 2025 for delivery to Weil am Rhein in Southern Germany. Normally, delivery by Fedex, which is used by Mercola, takes 5-7 business days. After hearing nothing for about 2 weeks, I inquired about the status. The response on December 2 was that Fedex had delivered the package to Cologne, 300 miles north of the destination, where it apparently got stuck in customs. Mercola had no clue what Fedex was doing and why they were doing this, and only provided a Fedex tracking link that either didn't work or just showed the package being stuck in Cologne since December 2 with no progress. The Mercola "customer service" department promised to follow up - nothing happened. I then messaged again on January 8, complaining about the lack of progress and any type of communication from Mercola. Finally, after a few days, some "service" person appeared to receive my messages and all she could say that the order was stuck and nothing was happening and that I could contact Fedex (not Mercola!) to refuse delivery and then start a refund process. After I complained again, another "service" person initiated a refund process on January 12,2026 of the ca 366$ I paid for their non service. That refund is still being processed. In that context, one thing that needs to be added to the list of Mercola incompetence is that the refund is processed in USD - foreign customers such as I usually pay in a foreign currency (such as CHF in my case), and thus any credit card fees (which are usually rather high) and foreign exchange risk is borne by the customer - a scandal in light of the fact that Mercola messed up the delivery. The customer pays fees for Mercola screwups - decidedly an interesting customer service concept. They offered the spectacular amount of 10$ "market cash" as compensation, which is of course a discount on future Mercola purchases and completely useless - why would anyone take the risk of going through another Mercola delivery screwup for 10$ of "discount"?

It is scandalously incompetent how this company deals with international customers. In essence, once they hand then package over to Fedex, it is done for them and whatever shenanigans ensue are none of their business. They pretty much say so in their response to customer complaints, pointing out their perceived loss of visibility once Fedex produces their magic - elegantly overlooking the fact that it is Mercola's responsibility to make sure products get delivered to the customer and to properly supervise the transport companies.In my case, this is already the third
delivery issue within about a year - the first two were not pleasant but could be dealt with, but this odyssey is the last nail in their coffin.

I would strongly advise international customers to never use Mercola - their level of incompetence is simply unrivaled. I have been a loyal customer for a few years and even reached Premier status, but am now dropping them completely and discontinuing any business relationship.

Short Shelf Life

The last orders of different products have had a short shelf life. Why buy 180 day supply (2-90 day bottles) if it's going to expire in 5 months?

Horror experience

Horror experience, they cancel the orders based on -I have no idea what. I made. A purchase on Black Friday than after they canceled they informed me, through a AI generated mail that they canceled the order because of some card issue (card works perfectly fine)I can not get the promotion anymore. Customer service is so disrespectful and literally mocking paying customers I m a customer service trainer for many years and I know what is all about. The whole experience HORROR

Watch out

Dr. Mercola was my Internet health guru since 2012 and for over a decade I trusted him and his products implicitly. However, in the past few years every order has been very near pull-date and unusable. For example, today I received 4 bottles of L-Glycine (each bottle a 90 day supply) and 3 jars of BCAA powder. They are all pull-dated for 6 WEEKS! Also, 10 bottles of vitamin c (60 count each) are all pull-dated for 3 WEEKS! There is no way most people would be able to use this amount of product in such a short period of time, and I don't eat past-pull date food or vitamins. I have overlooked previous orders where new paper labels with pushed out dates have been placed over near expired items, but when paying a premium for vitamins, I expect at least a 6-month shelf-life. I am a platinum member and have spent thousands of dollars at Mercola.com. Yet, after waiting on line for customer service to get confirmation that they could "make an exception", they are going to email me a "one-time courtesy label in 2-3 days" to ship products back. Now, I have to waste my time waiting/looking for a label, packaging this stuff, drive a half hour to the Fed-Ex store and stand in line to return the old vitamins. They said "When we receive the products, we will issue a refund in 10 business days" and will not include the customer loyalty credit in the original order. This is insulting to me on many levels, and I can't justify ordering from this site in the future.

Update: I went to Fed-Ex to mail the package before receiving the Mercola response, but wouldn't have missed work and wasted time waiting for a driver to pick up the box anyway. There were 11 people in line and one clerk working at a slow pace in the store. Not wanting to loose my day at Fed-Ex, I took the box to our women's shelter nearby. They seemed grateful for the donation, although it was a bootless errand for me!
If the internal process calls for pulling products within the time-frame mentioned, why did all of those different items get sent? Not going to use more time on this.....

For example, a 90-day supply item would be pulled 90 days before its expiration. That said, we understand that receiving multiple bottles with limited shelf life is not ideal—especially for customers ordering in bulk for personal use, which is less common and something we don’t always anticipate.

Regarding the return: we completely understand that driving to a FedEx location can be inconvenient. We’d be happy to schedule a FedEx pickup directly from your location, so you don’t have to go out of your way. Once we confirm your account details, we can arrange that promptly.

We also want to make things right regarding your refund. Please be assured we’ll review the matter of loyalty credits as part of this resolution once we locate your account.

Service failed me this time

Generally, I have been happy with Mercola for the last few years. This time I wanted to place my usual order but clicked next to the product and ordered the wrong stuff - which incidently costed the same amount. I noticed within the hour and wrote an email to please change the product - price was exactly the same. Instead of acting on my request they tried to persuade me to try the product I had ordered. I answered I did not want that. 6h later I got a mail that my parcel had been sent and I got a mail that I could send it back it I did not want it. Now I have received it and it would cost me 41AUD to send it back. Not happy!

I have been buying from Mercola for…

I have been buying from Mercola for years and I am pleased. His vitamins are costly as they are of high quality. i wait till they go on sale and stock them. The customer service is fabulous,they are very polite and knowlegeable. If they dont know they check for me.
Their vitamins are of high quality. Even my naturopathic dr sells them in her office! Many health food stores sells Mercola vitamins. Reading some reviews makes me wonder if it is a witch hunt.

I too got continually temporally banned…

I too got continually temporally banned from the forum, and sent the generic nasty email that my comment doesn't fit the new focus, it's been deleted, and I'm banned, and my enquiries as to why weren't answered. I was never rude or out of line. I was conversing with someone else who also got repeatedly banned. Mercola has been censored on the internet and very understandably angry about his unfair treatment. Then he goes and does it to his followers. This has really turned me off him and I don't buy his supplements anymore. The forum has now been taken down. Is he a control freak?
His articles have become contradictory and confusing. e.g. oxalates are now good, for the microbiome, and too much meat will lead to your demise. He is consulting with a psychic speaking to an entity about how to increase joy in your life. You can find it on google, and about how he sacked his top executives, including his sister. (I actually agree with the reason for the sackings.) I too just skim over the articles due to the contradictions.

For some reason absolutely unknown to…

For some reason absolutely unknown to me, I was banned from the forum. I learned a LOT from the people there, almost as much as reading a Mercola article. I tried to get to the bottom of it, calling customer service three times, and they could not tell me. I also e-mailed twice. And all the people I knew and had made friends with I cannot access and I don't see any of their comments and helpful advice anymore. It is as if everyone that followed him (that I knew) has fallen off the face of the earth. Totally not cool and to not give a person to rectify whatever the issue was is not fair. I used to love reading his articles and the comments. Now I just skim through them and delete (the ones in the past few months).

Glad I read these reviews - will not order supplements

Articles on newsletter are very interesting but recently I have found them to be contradicting which causes confusion for a person who is just trying to keep healthy, buy the right supplements etc. Was thinking of ordering supplements from him, but am so glad I came to this review site and have discovered that they could be inferior in quality and double the price. So will not be ordering.

No water filtration filters available

It sucks to buy an expensive water filtration system and have no replacement filters available. I've been waiting 8 months. I'm giving up and buying a new and more reliable system. Honestly, the water just tasted so-so as well. I cannot recommend Dr. Mercola.

Charges DOUBLE what the products are worth

Dr Mercola charges way more than the product is worth and I can see now he is not about helping people but uses his health message to line his pockets and get rich. I can have no respect for people who do that and I will never purchase products from anyone doing that unless they charge a fair price and not based on greed.
There are products around that are just as good at half the price. Do NOT waste your money.

EDIT: In regards to your response, prices on some items went up by 50% or more over a year or so. That to me looks like it is selling well for that price and so we can put the price higher. But please fell free to explain why so a huge price increase if that is not the case.

I always research what I purchase and I have found equivalent or even better with no fillers and ones that do not use soy etc. So I do not find your reasoning valid either. I find no justification for your higher prices despite what you have said or based on the link you gave.

To be honest, most supplements are priced to high from most places. Just some more than others. A lot of suppliers are taking advantage of people that are suffering or having heath problems, and the suppliers know they will do almost anything to get rid of those health issues, and so they charge accordingly. It is taking advantage of people and it is wrong.

TRANSPARENT AND TRUTHFUL

By telling the truth! I was told that the Vitamin C has been sourced from organic corn from US. I don't believe this is true since I got 2 versions from his staff.
I have noticed that the supplements are not as effective as before though the description is very flamboyant and claimed as superior to all other supplements.
Since about 6 months ago, I have found strange things happening on the website. Not performing in very transparent manner.
I used to trust Dr. Mercola before but now question myself. Also sourcing for better supplements.

I deeply appreciate the research

I deeply appreciate the research! I've been reading Dr. Mercola's articles for years. We've also been buying his supplements for many years, but am hugely dismayed to read other reviews regarding sourcing and quality! I'll need to research further.
Update.
I read the link provided and there is little specific information about sourcing. I simply do not trust supplements sourced from China.

Avoid at all cost

Dr Mercola preaches against the establishment concerning health care but he is jus as bad or worse. Jus another greedy business owner. I used to buy from Mercola until my Vit D went from a tar color to a Mocha color by means of dilution. Basically reducing the milligram but keeping the price the same. GREED!!!!! Also jus recently discovered their ingredients are sourced from China. Much better and trustworthy companies out there unlike this greedy douche.
