Thank you for the excellent service you have provided from start to end. The PC was for my sons 16th Birthday. I have limited knowledge on gaming, so you took the time to advise me on the several options and things (specs) to look for in a computer, all without any pressure to buy. This was reassuring for me as it’s daunting buying online, especially for something so important.

When I did choose the right PC, you took the time and consideration to let me know each step of the way, how the build was going, including sending photographs and all details of the delivery times and dates of arrival.

You made sure it arrived in good time, which was a stretch as I did leave it until the last minute, and you ensured it was all set up smoothly by guiding my son with setting it up.

You clearly run a professional company with wonderful family values and customer service at the core, which is very rare to find.

Thank you again so much, and for anyone wanting to buy a PC and worried like I was, or just want advice on what to buy, I would recommend Jason at Merker Computers, you’ll be in great hands.

For a review on the actual PC .. going by the reaction from when my son received it and now barely being off it, I’d say he’s more than happy! He’s said, “ it’s so much quieter, graphics’s are brilliant and there’s loads of storage.”

Fantastic communication and assistance from the outset. With a budget in mind Merker Computers were great in advising me of what was best when looking at a potential upgrade for part of the machine.

As a bonus they are local to me so not only was it great to support a local business the collection was a doddle.

The machine was easy to set up and has plenty of capability for what it is needed for.

All in all a great customer service from a knowledgeable and friendly company.

Friendly and helpful service

Great service, ordering my sons his 10th birthday present, I was able to ask questions and flexible with delivery. Everything arrived on time and I was kept up to date with every step from the computer being built to the delivery date/time! Would defo recommend for anyone getting a PC! Thank you so much!

My PC has been fully cleaned and polished. With all my new parts in place, excellent cable management and speedy service. Glad to have had the peace of mind and security.

Honestly, everything from the start to delivery day was absolutely superb. As a single mum having recently moved to the UK, I was sceptical about just using any company. This is my sons first gaming pc and a very special gift for him. When I googled and researched various companies, Merker came up with the best referrals and reviews. And what really stood out for me was the fact that it's family run, it wasn't just another order to them. I could tell by the way they ensured we were happy every step of the process. What I really valued was that I was not taken advantage of, they could have recommended the more expensive options but Merker shows honesty and integrity.
My son absolutely loves his gaming setup.

Merker computers were really helpful when trying to organise a gaming computer for my son’s birthday. Computers are not my strong point and it was really great to have them offer me advice and options but in a non pressured way.

As someone who only uses a computer at work, with the support of an IT department, when the Christmas request was a gaming computer, I really didn't have a clue where to start.

Jason at Merker was a complete Godsend. He went into great depth to understand which games our son was using, so he knew what functions he required and once I confirmed our budget he gave me several options, explaining the advantages of each.

Our son's gaming PC has been in place for nearly 2 years and there haven't been any problems at all. I've been back to Merker in that time, as I wanted to purchase a second monitor and they were super helpful in letting me have all the details oh what I needed to match the one my son already had.

I would 100% recommend this company to anyone else who needs to kit out their gamer!

(My IT department were extremely impressed, if not envious, at what I'd managed to achieve within my budget!)

Marker made buying a gaming PC for my son so easy. I had no idea what I needed to get and Merker gave me all of the options that suited my sons needs perfectly and recommended the best build for my budget.

Build was fast and my son is extremely happy. We will definitely use again for future purchases or upgrades.

Fantastic professional advice on gaming PC needed for a teen without over selling, arrived on time, looked the business and works perfectly. Amazing buy, wouldn't hesitate to recommend Merker Computers.

Poor. Bought a PC for my son for gaming for £500 early in the year (2024) and granted I don't expect a massively powerful machine, but I expect it to be modern, I've just had a look inside (because it had issues).

The controller for the lights on the fan I've never been given a manual for and now the lights no longer work.

Then I'm horrified to find the motherboard inside that has been used is from 2016! An 8 year old motherboard! No wonder it has such a short warranty (which has now expired). Because of this, the motherboard doesn't support Windows 11 so end of next year, the PC needs to be replaced due to the lack of support. The board is a Asus H110M-A/DP, which has no Windows 11 drivers for it. The fact the board still has PS2 connectors for keyboard and mouse gives away how old it is!

Then we move onto the CPU a Intel Core i5-6600 which is!!!! 9 years old!

And the RAM. Equally as old. So old no longer appears on Micron's own site.

The case is equally old. Only has 1 USB 3 port on the front, which gives away its age.

There are plenty of modem systems that can be built for £500 without using a 8 year old motherboard!

Fully ripped off!

Sadly, this company is building PCs for people who don't know what to look for.

Avoid.

UPDATE-The attempted claim by Merker computers that my review was for a different company is also false. I'll say again, nothing is mentioned on their site that the kit you're getting is out of date and/or potentially 10 years old.

If this was all clear and all transparent (remember, Windows 10 will no longer be supported end of next year and the computer we had built doesn't support Windows 11 because the board isn't compatabile due to lack of a TPM chip) then it would be fine, but its not clear.

Also trying to silence a review by falsely flagging it is a bit disingenuous.

This Company is amazing. This is the second computer we've had built by them for our sons. They are fast, they give advice on the best unit to buy, the communication is amazing, there's just nothing to fault at all. I would highly recommend
