We dealt directly with Phil and Tracey both of which very professional and knowledgeable on all the products.

Having severe osteoarthritis in my big toe joints I needed to replace my walking boots with something wider fitting and more comfortable to walk my dog in the forest.
Lauren was so helpful and patient trying to help me. She even measured my feet which I can’t remember happening since I was a child.
Attentive throughout Lauren repeatedly went and found boots for me to try on. I think we probably got through 7 or 8 different sizes and styles before I settled on a pair of Merrell Accentor 3.

Went to buy a Berghaus jacket recently and met with Lauren who works there, absolutely brilliant customer service, helped me with knowing what jacket was for my needs and was generally a happy person with a service with a smile! Would recommend!

Never before was shoe shopping such an insightful experience! My feet are dramatic 😂 (5.5 and too narrow for most brands). The people at Millets were super helpful. Lucky to have run into Phil - he took one look at my feet and understood what I needed and what won’t work. I was also short on time and rush buying right before the hike. Phil was patient and made sure the shoes are fit for use in the long run. Great experience!

Phil couldn’t have been more helpful when we were looking for a new pair of walking shoes. In our opinion he went above and beyond, even coming in to work on his day off to help out the staff.

I went in to buy a straight replacement from my last hiking boots (I don’t really hike, I just walk around my allotment a lot). I asked for a size 7 from a young assistant who radioed for someone else and a lovely man called Phil appeared.
Phil took me the boot section, invited me to sit down while he measured my feet and lent me chunkier socks to put over my thin socks, advising me that although people buy footwear in the morning, it’s better to do that in the afternoon and feet often swell over the day.

Anyway, Phil bought the boots I requested but on checking how my feet stood in the boots said that my choice isn’t a great boot shape for my feet. He got me a slightly different pair (same price, nicer colour!) which I tried and this is the pair I have now, to wander about inside the house this afternoon to be sure they fit well.

Phil also showed me a different way to secure my laces so the boot doesn’t grip my ankles, a vast improvement.

Yes, I spent much more time in the shop then I planned to but I’m glad Phil was working this morning.

I went in your shop in Eastbourne, I have been in many shoe shop over the last year, I went in because me trainers are leaking, it's the first time I've been in a shoe shop for many years and had the help and advice given to me with such professional advice and help,Phiand Laura are so friendly and helpful,,,thank you Phil and Laura so much.

I was after real quality gear to get me through the winters walks. Henry and Jason assisted with great advice, making sure I left with what I come in for. Great service. Thankyou guys.
