Millets - Eastbourne レビュー 

I walked into the Eastbourne Store at about 2.20 pm on January 22 nd and was greeted by Jason who could not have been more helpful. He sourced the Walking Boots I required from the storeroom and was knowledgeable and understanding of the nature of my requirements. He was a welcoming,professional and pleasant example of good customer services. Thank you.

I went in to buy a big bag for travelling and Phil offered assistance on which bag was best for value and suits my needs. Phil gave me great advice on how to use the bags functions effectively when I'm carrying a lot of weight so I can get the most out of wearing it comfortably for long periods of time.

Shopped for a pair of walking shoes and was helped by Allison. She had a good understanding of the products and was able to answer any questions I had.

Hugh was very helpful and friendly while serving me to check the fit of the walking boots I was buying, and making sure they were satisfactory, and in advising on the shoe care products. Thank you very much 😊

Phil, with his extensive knowledge of footwear and shoes, was particularly impressive. I wouldn’t have considered buying if he weren’t there. Alison was fantastic; she helped me measure my feet. It felt like I was transported back to the 1980s at Clarks. I highly recommend these two.

I can not praise the staff enough at this branch. In particular Phil.
He was so helpfull kitting me out with walking boots ahead of my trip to scotland. I dint feel pressured or rushed.
To the point i said im going to have a shop round and have a think. He said "no problem at all"

That means alot to me. So i did return and was met with his smile and helpfulness. Brilliant asset to the team and staff.

I went in wanting walking boots.

I left with boots,socks and a cleaning kit.

I bought walking boots at Millets Eastbourne today. I was so impressed by the personal service I received. Phil’s knowledge and experience was superb. He spent as much time as I needed to choose from several styles that he recommended according to my size and activity. I left the shop supremely confident I had boots to last me for the rest of my walking years. Thankyou

This is not a review for a purchase , but more like a helpful hero! Henry came to me aid today, a Maybugs employee, apprehending a shop lifter that had left the premises. I took it upon myself to go after her and try to take her back to the shop, to give back what she had stolen! Of course she wasn’t having any of it and we got into a bit of a scuffle. Henry was passing by and jumped to my aid, with lots of other passers by, who of course just watched on. He assisted me in getting the Maybugs stock back to the shop, but the most important thing was his kindness in helping, both of us really could have risked our lives, but he didn’t think of that, he helped me. I might add I’m a 60 year old women and he is a very young man. I have a 20 year old son and I would be so proud to think that he too would have stepped in to help. So you as a company should be proud, also his parents, more so Henry himself. What ever it is you plan to do with your life I wish you all the best and let it be said, anything is possible and thank you again.

Phil served me today in millets great customer care I wanted a pair of walking boots I was fed up of buying rubbish he measured my feet that does not happen any more and then I tried on several boots he was checking all the time then we got the right ones great light comfortable and also showed me how to do them up the correct way . I wish more shop had a Phil thankyou so much .

I came into the store looking for good walking boots as I am doing the London to Brighton ultra challenge in may 2025.

I asked a member of staff for help and advice his name was Phil.

He not only checked my correct measurements for size and width he also help me pick out a few different ones to try on explained the correct way to lace them up and how to wear them in to make sure they are the right ones after purchase.

He recommended the correct socks to wear for thr time of year and all about how to clean them correctly.

I was and am very happy with my purchase.

If anyone needs any help and for the right advise then the staff will be more than happy to help but if you get the chance ask for phil he is a true gentleman and a credit to millets.

I was served today by Henry. Having walked into the shop in a terrible fluster having not brought one Christmas present, I presented him with some ideas as to what I needed for a family member.
He spent time listening and understanding what my family member needed and in the most kindest way helped calm my Christmas shopping nerves and guided me around the store showing me wonderful solutions to my woes.
Henry you are an utter life saver! If only every shop had a Henry like that. Worth his weight in pure gold. Merry Christmas one and all.
