I always prefer supporting independent businesses, and my understanding is that this is a family run manufacturing outfit, producing high quality finishing tools (better than the cheap imports). Very pleased with the equipment I received. The customer service is really excellent (I was confused about the abrasive grades on the product I bought, and they guided me through it). A really excellent business.

I placed an order for two needle files, a minute request by any standard. A representative from their sales department telephoned me the following day, advising me that one of the items was out of stock and suggesting an alternative. The alternative was not suitable for my particular needs - it was too long and would have been impossible to use under a lens. The representative offered a refund, which I accepted. The remaining item arrived the next day, as did the refund.

Exemplary, impeccable service, unusual to say the least in a commercial environment normally driven by the bottom line. How refreshing to find that there is a place for the human touch.

Despite being a new customer, with a minuscule order, the company treated me as an old-established, substantial account. I suspect, given the treatment I received, that I shall become one! Well, maybe not that substantial…
