If the true value of online shopping lies in its unparalleled convenience, 24/7 access, and massive variety, which transformed retail into million of dollars. First, your website is setup as though you’re shopping for groceries instead of fabric. You waste a lot of times, closing out pop-ups to find any fabric.

it takes several days for your Customer Service to fill the order, and to get your order to USPS. I have a package at this moment waiting for a label and next, it has to be process to be shipped to me. It take me four hour to drive to your store. On the other hand, It will take a total 10 to 11 days to get my fabric from New York to Ohio. This is your definition of convenience. I forgot to tell you about shopping. if you need help, matching up any fabric by color or anything. You can forget about that too.

I ordered several different fabrics and was contacted about one that was sold out. They said they would deduct the price of that item from the order total. No problem. I appreciated the outreach and information. However, when the items were shipped, and I was charged, the amount charged was more than it should have been. Minus the missing fabric, the taxes should have been less than what was charged to my credit card. When I pointed this out in a follow up email, I received an unhelpful reply that merely restated what they had charged without explaining why they had charged something other than the standard tax rate. Something vague about "duties, taxes and fees." No, that's not true, because the original tax rate they applied before the deducted fabric was correct for my state! It's a small amount, but it's the principle: you can't charge arbitrary amounts and tack it onto an order. Basically they doubled down on the mistake and refused to refund it.

The fabric is fine but I had a terrible experience with you and your customer service. I absolutely gave grace for a storm that happened on a Monday (which was after my order) so I called on a Friday to see if the order shipped and your customer service didn't have to lie and say my order was shipping that day. No one made them do that. I wasn't even upset just asking for an update. So when it hadn't even be picked up by DHL to be taken to USPS until the following week, I was quite upset. AND then we have to wait for DHL to hand it off to the postal service which took additional time. Ordered 2/23 and delivered 3/6. Far from your estimates on your website.

Worst website! Very buggy - if you move your cursor at all, the screen jumps away from what item you're looking at! I tried using the Coupon Code they emailed me on my first order and I keep getting an error message saying it's not valid! I copied and pasted it!!!! Too much time spend trying to figure this issue out and it shouldn't be a struggle! Can't even review the fabric I wanted because I will NOT order from a company that's this dysfunctional!!!

I’ve ordered a few times, and never had any issues. The fabric is always beautiful.
I would order more often, except that 1 - their website has to be the slowest website, pages take sooo long to load that sometimes I just give up, and 2 - shipping/duties to Canada :( I buy mostly from Canadian stores because of this. Not Mood’s fault.

I usually order high-end fabrics from Mood that I can’t find in local fabric stores, but my recent experience was deeply disappointing, especially for a company that advertises high quality and premium fabric.

I purchased 0.5 yards of silk duchesse satin at $74.99/yard. Two days after placing the order, I was contacted by a rep (Vanessa) who informed me that the only available cut had some minor damage near the selvage. They offered a mere 0.25-yard store credit, which hardly compensates for damage to such an expensive and limited quantity of fabric (and isn't even equal to the price of the fabric I bought). They also refused a higher store credit or partial refund.

What’s even more frustrating is that the same fabric still shows as in stock on their website, with 181 yards available, so I’m not sure why I was told this was the last piece. I expect honesty and consistency from a company selling premium materials, so this is just beyond disappointing.

Normally, I’d overlook small imperfections, but this is silk duchess satin a luxury fabric that needs to be flawless, especially when ordering only half a yard. I explained that the damage could make the piece unusable for my project, and again they refused to offer a better credit or cut. Unfortunately, I couldn’t wait or order from somewhere else as my order was for a wedding next week.

Sadly, this experience has destroyed my trust in Mood. For the price I paid and the way the issue was handled, I expected far better. Never ordering from them again.

There I don't know what's going on in the reviews on this website but this is a perfectly reliable place to get fabric from. It does not have 20 million child sla- i mean employees, it has a small number of adults. if you have an issue with your order someone's not going to respond to you within 5 Seconds. you just need to wait but you will end up with what you wanted and it will be what it says it is, unlike trying to get things through Etsy or Amazon where it's like you have no idea what's going to arrive but it's probably going to be polyester no matter what, and half the gsm stated

I have no stake in this. I'm not a designer I don't work for mood I don't care about mood but like seeing stuff like what im seeing here is just so ridiculous

I just received a pair of pants that are supposed to be a linen look with flower embroidery. The pants I received were a print and not only that. Whomever sewed these pants is a joke.

Ordered two pieces of fabric. One of the cut pieces was cut off grain by a quarter of a yard on a 1.5 piece. That makes the piece unusable for a 1.5 project. Not very impressive with my first order.

Do not trust them, the sizes at way too small, and the fabric is very low Quality , do not be deceived by the pictures you don’t even have a phone number to contact him
It’s taking more than three weeks to get the sweatshirt. Bad delivery time.

I ordered some buttons that cost about $1.00 to ship, and was charge $6.00. The buttons do not work and Mood fabrics does not give refunds!!! In today's world
that is just really poor service for such a large company.

Oh my god. I love this store when I go to NYC, but ordering online is crazy. It's complicated, not at all user friendly, and the shipping took 2 weeks (still not here)...
At this rate and with the cost of shipping to Montreal, I could have made the trip!

I've been to the store while visiting New York and loved the fabrics, however, when I placed an online order at home, they left out ALL THREE cuts that I ordered and just sent the notions. The cuts were listed on my packing list but weren't in there. When I inquired they offered store credit since there wasn't sufficient fabric to send the orders, but then they never gave me the credit either. I continued to comminicate with them for about 3 months, but finally just gave up. Don't order from here.

For the most part I have had very good luck with the fabric I've ordered online. Some of the jersey material on sale can be VERY off grain, which I wish they would post (ie fabric is 2nds or imperfect). My biggest problem is their fabric reviews. I've submitted multiple reviews and while my 4 -and 5-star reviews get posted, none of my 1-star reviews were ever posted. So you cannot trust the fabric reviews on mood.com.

I had purchased fabric from this company a couple of times in the past and was thrilled when I came across their free patterns, Needless to say my excitement did not last long. The instructions for these patterns is vague at most and when I commented on the blog for the garment I was making the response I received was "the instructions reflect their no-cost nature, and was also told I should have made a muslin first and that maybe I was not a good fit for free patterns and should try patterns that were not free. Then Elisabeth Moore wrote that if I needed more assistance to email her, which I did and received no response after a week and learned that the matter had been closed. So I wasted money on fabric to make a garment from a pattern with no detailed instructions from a person who would rather see customers lose rather than guide them when they experience difficulty understanding how to assemble a garment that she designed.

There are very good selections at the store. The store is organized and Ms. Trinity, the store sales clerk, was very helpful and guided us through the selections. She was very eager to help us, explained the right material for the right dress and she was very knowledgeable. She deserves to be the Employee of the Month, if not the Employee of the Year.

Very unpleasant check out staff that over charged me by double the price on 2 items. When I called to ask them about it, the man was very rude and just said, too bad, that’s our price and then hung up on me. Never going back and will never recommend the place to anyone either.

I ordered several swatches, decided on the fabric I wanted then ordered. I received the wrong fabric. I communicated with “customer service” in multiple emails sending photos back and forth including photos of my swatches and what I received. I was told I should have ordered swatches!!! So apparently my emails were not really read or reviewed. I was given the option of ordering new swatches and a store credit. I will be returning material and hope for a refund but not holding my breath. The swatch I received matched the website (which I tried to explain) but did not match in weave or color what I received. Not sure what is happening there. I was also told I might understand if I had ever worked with fabric???!!!! Well Mood received my fabric this week and messaged me that I did in fact get the wrong fabric and are now apologizing and sending the correct fabric. Thank you Mood

Their fabric selection is good, but their customer service is abysmal. I ordered a zipper that was clearly broken and not functional. After sending a picture and video and purchase proof, they transferred me to a "specialist" (don't know why we need to get a specialist involved, the issue is obvious), but I haven't heard back from them in 8 days. It was also an expensive specialty zipper, so I am down $20. They also may run out of the fabric you order, and send you a partial shipment with less yards than you ordered or only some of the items you order without approval. When I complained they said "This is how the industry works" (lol, what?) Very inconvenient since you usually have a specific project in mind while ordering that you wouldn't be able to complete with a partial order.

DO NOT, I Repeat DO NOT buy a gift from Mood Fabrics. Was gifted a 200$ electronic Mood Card that was never sent. Buyer had to call and email Brittany several weeks to get a resolution that ended up being a store credit of 300$. Get to the in-store register to purchase fabric and Linnette says she can't locate credit. She wasn't much help at all, looked at me like I was speaking another language. Ended up buying fabric with cash, but I will take my business elsewhere. I hear Melinated Fabrics has great quality fabric.
