This company is the worst. Don't buy a thing from them. Unorganized and no clue how to run a business or treat customers. I bought a pair of ski poles from them and they sent me the wrong poles that had the sticker of the right poles on them. Meaning someone at their warehouse mislabeled them. Then a week later I order a pair of skis from this company and they then cancel the order because they don't have them in stock. It's 2021 the software exists that this shouldn't happen. I then call customer service to ask why they can't run a business professionally and I got hung up on reinforcing the fact of their unprofessionalism.

Don’t waste your money here thinking you can accumulate points and apply them to your order. They won’t apply, then you will get repeated false promises to put you off until the NON-DISCOUNTED charge goes through. All the while, Moosejaw Reps will bald face lie to you and promise the credit is coming. They will do this REPEATEDLY. It never does. Their “points program” is a SCAM! If you want to REALLY get your points to apply to purchases AND reliable customer service, stick with REI.

Moosejaw has account fraud issue in March 2021, my account has been hacked and my reward points has been redeemed to gift card to a different email account. Moosejaw's fraud department has no idea how to proceed with the investigation and operate it as a black box with no progress and no ETA.
The worst are, no refund and no update on if credit card information is also leaks.
Moosejaw does not care about your credit card information and your redeemed points, if you have both on their website, I suggest you to remove your credit card info or spend the redeem point ASAP.
Run away
One of the coolest things about Moosejaw is their hilarious emails and general writing style. Makes them look like a great choice over a "soulless" big box store or Amazon.
In reality, it's a front for a bottom feeding company. The lowest of the low. In addition to their "poor" rating on Trustpilot - this really takes the cake - their BBB rating is a F. I'll say again: F!!!!
Unfortunately, I got hooked by the former and didn't think to check the latter (never again). And when I reached to them because my $$$ order had been sent to the wrong address, they ignored me repeatedly (I think I emailed, chatted, and called them 12 times to their 2-3 slow and disjointed responses), and then lied outright to my credit card company (I'm not using the term lied lightly) about what had gone down.
My experience sounds shockingly similar to 2 other recent reviews here where customers got bilked over address issues. Be sure to also check out the 12/31/19 Yelp reviewer that got stiff-armed over $650.

Rip-off... they try and portray them as a group of friendly outdoorsie types, but nothing could be further from the troop.. It's a cut throat business to the core... from the false offers to give discounts to sales on discontinued items on sizes no one wears to lack of response to email to high shipping costs and free shipping thresholds and pricing structure that makes discounts worthless to complete lack of response to "promised" replies ... this is a company to avoid. Don't be fooled avoid the bear trap!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a jacket for a close friend of mine’s daughter. She wanted a Columbia jacket forever, and the family doesn’t have a lot of money. So I found the jacket online at Moosejaw. I placed the order the first time. A week went by, and I heard nothing. So I called them. They told me that it was my fault that the order didn’t go through. Even though I paid on PayPal! So I redid the order a second time per their instructions. This time I got an email that the order was canceled! Even though I never canceled! I called customer service, and got the same lame answer that everyone seems to give now for poor customer service. Blame it on Covid! I won’t waste my time ordering from these people ever again! Now I have a heartbroken girl. Who probably thinks that I lied to her about getting the jacket!

If you set your address and then use paypal, they disregard the address that you set and use the address on paypal, ship your package to the wrong place and then yell you that you are SOL.
Terrible customer service, Return policy joke
Terrible customer service. Ordered a pair of shoes that do not fit. Sent them back as a return and recieved the same exact shoe back in the mail again. Only after contacting them was I told that they do not do exchanges except for the exact item that was previously ordered. ???What!?
I am now being told that their policy is for returns only and in order to recieve a refund I must send back the entire order that was placed! (Christmas gifts). Again, ???What?! They also have no idea when the shoe size I need will be back in stock as per their cs rep "they do not keep track of stock"... "sorry :("
Their customer service is a joke. We will never be purchasing from them again.

I am giving two stars because the first order I placed with moose jaw was perfect and no hassles. Today for two hours I’ve been trying to order a pair of boots and nothing but problems. I won’t try to shop there again because it is way too much of a hassle. I recommend this company spend less money on comedians and more money on a website that works and accepts a split tender. DONE!
What a joke
What a joke. Skip this retailer. Failure to send me all the items i ordered. Been tossed around saying it shipped only to be told on the 2nd week of waiting that products never shipped. Save yourself the trouble and go to an actual store. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT. Getting a refund is also a struggle.
I was told, "It's fixed!" FIVE TIMES, and it never was.
Placed an order on 11/20, and realized immediately afterward they had my old address. I emailed that night, and contacted customer service the next day. I was told no problem, all fixed. I then watched for the next ten days as my package headed to my old address several states away, including being on the truck for delivery twice. I contacted them FIVE TIMES over this time period, and was told each time, "Oh, now it's fixed." I was also told twice I would receive a phone follow-up to confirm, and was never called. On the 10th day, when the package was still in my old state and they were saying they were "working on re-routing it" I gave up. Nice people, broken business.

Moosejaw sent be two items by mistake. I sent them an email to let them know and they didn't reply asking me to send the accidental free item back. My new favorite company! Thanks Moosejaw!
reliable website, careless warehouse
based on the review of others, their warehouse seem to be problematic and was constantly having trouble delivering the right thing.
but based on my experience, the two merino 250 bottom i bought were delivered in 2 separate parcels in correct size, color and is brand new.
but they did forgot to give me free sticker and promotion card even though on the shipping slip it says so. packing slips were included in both package, and that's how i know they didn't give me the sticker and the card, which i did not mind.
overall, reliable website, but their warehouse has a habit of making careless mistake.
okay site for purchasing outdoor clothing. not sure about equipment though.
Received socks instead of pants
Having a terrible experience with them. Ordered two pairs of pants. They sent one pair, sent socks instead of the other. I called them and got a cheeky message saying they were playing ping pong instead of answering my call. Dumb. So I emailed them. Got some momentum going and then communication ceased. So I called again and finally got someone on the phone. They agreed to send me the pants that I had paid for but warned me if they didn't get the socks back within 14 days they would charge me for the pants. Pants =$45 Socks =$10 so yeah, that makes sense. If they had offered to throw the socks in for my wasted time because of they're mistake they'd still have a customer. Instead I'm writing a bad review, will tell everyone I know not to use them and will never buy anything from them again. Great business decisions guys!
Moosejaw wants me to pay for a return, even though they sent me the wrong size
Moosejaw sent me a different size than I ordered (yes, I've triple checked that I ordered the correct size).
That's fine, mistakes happen.
But now they want me to pay for return shipping to fix their mistake. Not only that, I bought the item at a 25% discount, and if I want to buy the correct size item after returning the wrong size they sent me, I have to pay the full price.
In other words, although they messed up, to fix this and get the right size I have to pay nearly $10 in return shipping plus $30 for the full priced item.
I understand that some companies choose to charge their customers for ordinary returns. It is not ok, however, to charge for returns when the company sends you the wrong item.
I don't support these types of business practices and will no longer purchase anything from Moosejaw.
Note: Moosejaw used to be a good company, but they were acquired by Walmart not too long ago. No surprise that the customer experience has deteriorated.

I purchased a $35 long sleeve Prana shirt (Order #147731370). I wore it once - carefully - and washed it gentle/cold with Woolite for Dark Clothes. The shirt faded. However, I communicated with Nadia and Jessica regarding a return, and they were very helpful.
