Simply outstanding service and quality of work. We had the catalytic converter stolen from my wife's 20+ year old Mazda MX5 Mk1. I was offered 3 types of repair, with full explanation of pros and cons, and chose the one where they fabricated a new section of exhaust, grafting in flanges for their generic type approved cat. Job was exceptionally neat- some compound bends in pipes to get it all lined up and really neat welds. Remaining system was thoroughly checked pre-job and there was a post-job full system check and emission test, all for a very reasonable price. I'd recommend them to anybody.

19.10.2020 Had my exhaust repaired in Reigate today on my Fiesta ST Line.

The Reigate branch were lovely! Friendly staff, happy to answer questions and did not push you into sales. I’m young and know nothing about cars so it would be easy for them to overcharge me. They checked the corroded exhaust free of charge and explained that although corroded, it didn’t necessarily need replacing for a while. They’d previously repaired my exhaust saying the fix would hopefully last a couple of years and overall that cheap fix has lasted 10 years! For honest staff use the Reigate branch, can not recommend enough!

Just had my exhaust replaced & fitted today while we are in ‘lockdown’, as I need to MOT my car or at the very least keep it road worthy. Extremely happy with the service provided by George, to include social distancing measures being in place. My car was ready within 1 hour and this company is more cost effective than Kwik Fit who quoted me 2.5 times the price for the same job. George also noticed that my right bearing will need replacing, which was super nice of him to give me a heads up that it will need looking into.
I would not hesitate in recommending Mr Exhaust to friends and colleagues.

I was unable to get a full replacement exhaust for my 1985 Mercedes from my local fitter. Having read glowing reviews for Mr Exhaust I decided to give them a call. George made a variety of enquires on my behalf and was able to source a full exhaust via three of his suppliers. I travelled some 30 miles a couple of days later to pay a deposit and allow them to examine the exhaust. The car was put up on the lifts and George suggested that I might want to keep the existing back box and advised that an exhaust hanger was missing too. The exhaust was fitted a couple of days later and a bespoke hanger fashioned from stainless steel, as a replacement part was unavailable. George again put the car up on the ramp so that I could inspect their handywork. The workmanship was first class and the cabin noticeably quieter with fewer vibrations too. They may not be local, but I’ll not hesitate in making a 60 miles round trip for another exhaust as and when it is required.

Excellent, friendly service and very efficient. I was having difficulty locating an exhaust system for my car due to it being over thirty years old - however they were able to locate one, ordered and fitted it for me. It was affordable too! Really happy with the service, would definitely reccomend.

Great service book in for Monday morning , promptly replaced exhaust and got on my way excellent service.

This is the second time I have called upon Me Exhaust in Reigate, they fabricated a custom Y section of exhaust for my Mini Cooper SD a couple of years ago, their results have stood the test of time, so when my second car needed some work done to it's sports exhaust there was only one team I could turn to.
I had a consultation 2 weeks ago the guys looked at the problem and came up with the solution. Today I collected my car they walked me through to workshop showed me what had been done, my car now runs smoother and pulls better than ever, the exhaust had been removed respired where needed and rehung ( above what had been quoted but within the quoted price!)
I cannot pause these guys enough the quality of work is great nothing phases them. It's good old fashioned customer's service backed up with the ability to do what they say can.

I spoke to George on the phone to get a comparison quote before ordering an online system to fit myself. He invited me in for a no cost/no obligation opinion of the problem and I'm glad I took him up on it. The fault was broken brackets, not a failing cat. The fitter who performed the repairs made such a good job, the man's an artist for sure. I've never seen such good welds - and in an area which will never be looked at again - a real craftsman. Don't hesitate, get in to Reigate for proper old school service and quality.

Write a list of all the things you want from a service company, and you will find them here! I have used this company over a number of years for different cars, and not only are they the best price but best work too. I travel over 50 miles to get them to do my work. No one likes waiting but they will give you helpful advice on how to spend an hour or so in Reigate and provide free tea and coffee too.

I visited Mr Exhaust to change the rear exhaust on my ageing Mini Cooper after two company's had been unsuccessful at the replacement. The guys from Mr Exhaust were entirely professional, competent, capable and courteous throughout. Even though they had to modify the supposedly correct exhaust which took far longer than the cost justified they were marvellous. They make the impossible seem like the normal and I would recommend anyone to make this business their first call for everything exhaust.

Top quality job. Staff are so helpful and friendly offering a map of Reigate and things to do while you wait. Free coffee in the waiting room. An opportunity to see underneath your car at the problem beforehand and the fixed exhaust afterwards. You can be confident of a quick, cheap, professional and reliable job from these guys. Top notch!

22/09/2018 Mr Exhaust Reigate

I intended to replaced the rear exhaust on my Skoda 1.9 tdi.
Firstly I checked online on their website, it was advertised as being a Bosal exhaust, even the part no was given (Bosal 282-985), I was pleased with their price, I called to get the appointment - all fine.
I arrive there, car checked, they agree the part must be replaced, they bring a cheaper part (Walker 22977), I informed them about the difference , that it looks cheap, but they said that unfortunately, Bosal is in admin they can't give me the part mentioned on the website, but the price is the same!!!

The guy was polite, well trained ( in defending company's interests, he honestly deserves a pay rise), finished a 10 min job in 45 min (is anyone surprised here?!!!) , replaced unnecessary, in my opinion, 2 mounts free of charge ( probably embarrassed by the entire situation), allowed me to inspect the job.

At the end of the experience, I received £10 voucher like all previous customers, which I will never use, and some marketing materials; I had a coffee free of charge. ( to clarify, the coffee was not at the end, but while waiting for the job to be done)
I wasn't invited like the previous customer to review online their job, a clear discrimination, but why, why?!!!!

I ended up paying more for less in terms of quality ...

Will I ever use them? Ahh......No.

Fantastic service. Drove from Haslemere as the price was considerably less than quotes I got locally. George sorted my wife's C3 center box out quickly and also repaired a small hole in the end box for free. So refreshing to find a company that actually cares and goes the extra mile.

Would highly recommend Mr Exhaust. Had my car exhaust booked in and repaired today. Went like clockwork. Done exactly what they said they would do for the price quoted. No nasty surprises when you get there. Very polite staff. Quick service, all done in an hour. Nice waiting room with complimentary refreshments. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Credit where credit is due!

I needed a new exhaust (I guess that's obvious!). I did much searching around and calling. One such call was Mr Exhaust in Reigate. They seemed over the phone genuinely polite, and the man I spoke to was very knowledgeable and offered various options without giving it the hard sell. I explained I was searching around and again, he was polite and wished me all the best and said that I could pop in and they'd honour the quote.

In the end, it was the cheapest (not but much but the next cheapest didn't inspire me with confidence!).

I drove there, parked and explained I'd got the quote from [Dave, Bob, Mike, Pete - sorry I forget who it was!] for a new exhaust. The chap at the desk was very friendly and said "yes no problem - we'll get it done right away". They took the keys and it was on the ramp and the exhaust was off in, I reckon with no exaggeration, less than 60 seconds!

Anyway, in the meantime, he tapped at his keyboard and said that heart-sinking thing: "Ah, er, very sorry but actually the quote it's quite right". I'm quite cynical and thought "here we go..." He said "It's actually £8 cheaper than than!" Result! I asked how long it would take as I was planning on doing a bit of a stroll around Reigate. He smiled and we both looked at the car and he said "Er, about another 10 minutes. At most!"

But then he gave me a map of the town and proceeded to tell me the way to go, the best parts to see and told me not to worry about hurrying back as they'd just park the car anyway. Also, not to pay until I get back to make sure I was happy with the job. So, I grabbed a coffee on the way out and did a 3 hour tour of Reigate.

On my return, the car was there, parked and (to my untrained eye) the exhaust was spot on. I paid my reduced cost, and got a free pen, pad and money off voucher for my next visit!

In summary:

1. This is what the very best customer service is about not just in the automotive industry but in any industry. CS reps could learn a lot from this.
2. They genuinely seemed to place my customer satisfaction above simply grabbing the money.
3. All the service was with a smile and I was not once chivvied along.
4. They went the extra mile but (unexpectedly) offering a sight-seeing map of the town and some recommendations.
5. Price was very competitive.
6. Easy to get to and park in.
7. Nice town. :)

Finally, this all happened about 9 months ago to give myself time to answer what some will see as the most important question: does the exhaust work and is it still attached?

8. The exhaust still works perfectly and is still attached perfectly. :)
