Very poor service recieved from thisâŠ
Very poor service recieved from this company. Booked a vip airport lounge for my wife and I returning from our honeymoon. Booked the lounge online, recieved an instant booking confirmation and a downloadable ticket, everything seemed fine.
Upon arriving at the airport I followed the instructions given which were to report to check in desk 31. We arrived at the check in desk, showed our ticket for the lounge, and the man checked our baggage in, so far so good. We then asked where to go for the lounge and was directed to passport control.
We patiently waited in the passport control for some time, but eventually got through, and once in the departure lounge sort out the vip lounge to relax and reminisce before flying homeâŠ.only to find it closed.
When we eventually found a member of staff to enquire about it we were told that the airside lounge is closed and that we have to go to the one before passport control, but once through passport control, we canât go back, and so starts the problems.
We had to spend a fortune on food and drink, in a hot, stuffy and poorly facilitated departure lounge (one of the main reasons we booked the vip lounge in the first place as we had been advised about this). We even refused the food boxes the hotel provided for departing guests knowing we had booked this, what a mistake that was now appearing to be.
I quickly got in contact with Musement, who apologised and said there wasnât anything they could do with regards to accessing the lounge now, but would contact the team and process a refund, this softened the blow, and we settled down to sweat it out watching Netflix waiting for our flight.
Upon arriving back in the U.K. I recieve an email to say it was our fault for going to the wrong lounge?? Safe to say this annoyed us, but nevertheless I responded explaining further that how could this be our fault when we had followed all directions given.
Several days go by and zero responses, so again I get in touch with Musement. 2 hours going back and forth they offer a 50% refund as âa gesture of goodwillâ as they saw there was no blame on there part for what happened.
They then finally offered a £20 voucher (which after this debacle are we really likely to use) and say there is nothing else they could do. I asked if I could escalate this further or speak about complaints, they then direct me to TUI complaints and end of conversation.
Safe to sayâŠ.less than impressed and will not return for future business!!!

I booked an electric cart trip in Krakow and made a mistake and put today's date in. I tried to reschedule the trip for when I am actually going to be in Krakow but I was told this was not possible as there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. I understand it was my mistake but how can I cancel within 24 hours when I only booked the trip 24 hours ago. Surely there should be some room for manoeuvre in exceptional circumstances
