An Excellent Service
It was as pleasant and painless as organising the appointment.
The two ladies who dealt with my requests/ needs were exceptionally kind and thoughtful. So kind that I chose to have my tetanus & Polio vaccination at Nomad clinic rather than go to my GP where it would have been free; chose Nomad because I knew my GP practice couldn’t possibly live upto the excellent service I received at the hands of the two very able, friendly and efficient ladies.

I travelled 40 minutes for this…
I travelled 40 minutes for this appointment. When I got there the lady had no idea why I was there. I explained I booked an appointment for an injection. She said their internet is down and cannot access medication online. She said I could rebook by calling a number which she provided a leaflet. However I wasted my time to turn up to an appointment which could not take place. I should have received a phone call about this issue before I travelled 40 minutes. Won’t be using this clinic again.

Outstanding service from Anna with my last-minute vaccine requirements

I have used Nomad for the quite a while…
I have used Nomad for the quite a while now for all my travel vaccine needs. The staff are super helpful, knowledgable and very personable and really are one of the main reasons I keep coming back to them. Very happy with their service.

Vaccination and blood test support
I have had several appointments with Nurse Danielle over the past 8 months to complete a series of vaccinations, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
At my first appointment, I was very nervous about the injection but Nurse Danielle was incredibly understanding and reassuring. She took the time to acknowledge my fear, and reminded me that many other service users feel the same way. She provided a stress toy for me to squeeze and guided me through a calming breathing technique, that helped ease my anxiety and reduce the pain I felt. Before I even realised, the injection was done — and it was far less painful than I expected.
My first experience being so positive, really built my confidence to return for the rest of my vaccinations. Nurse Danielle went out of her way to ensure she was available each time, which helped me develop trust in her care. I was no longer afraid of the injections because I knew what to expect and felt safe in her hands.
Today I had a blood test to check my immunity. I was hesitant to come for this appointment because of a previous bad experience I had during it. However, knowing Danielle would be the one carrying it out gave me the encouragement I needed to return. I trusted her care and felt safe enough to go through with it. She used a small needle, only took the amount of blood that was absolutely necessary, and helped me stay calm throughout. I was genuinely surprised at how painless and swift the experience was.
I truly appreciate how much Nurse Danielle has supported me over the past several months. Thanks to her care, I no longer fear vaccinations. I would rate all my appointments with her a 10/10, and I now feel much more confident moving forward. She is kind, professional, and an excellent example of patient-centred care.

Just expert advice
We had been concerned about getting a certain vaccine for travel due to our ages being over 60.
The nurse on site was very thorough in her explanation of the risks of travel to country we were visiting and eased our minds in terms of our ability to have tge vaccine.
We are booked in for later in the year.
