I ordered a wig a year ago, the hair kept matting was frazzled and snapping like crazy was gutted cause the amount of money I spent, they agreed for me to send back which I then had to go get a hair replacement system fitted as I didnât have a back up without my wig till this mess was fixed. So eventually they said there sending me a new wig which they did I had my hair replacement taking out a few months ago and thought il go back to my new wig to wear and within days again matting at the back and the hair again frazzling and snapping!! Absolutely devastated people with hair loss are dealing with enough without dealing with these kinds of problems!! This wig is supposed to make me feel better about myself and all itâs done since I first ordered is make me feel worse. Never ever order from this company believe me people!!

Iâve been following Nuola Wigs for a long time and always wanted to purchase one of their wigs. I waited for a special occasion, and since Iâm getting married in October, I finally decided to order the Ciara wig.
Before placing my order, I had a short consultation with them and exchanged many emails to make sure I was getting the right wig. They even sent me extra pictures of the Ciara, and it looked exactly like what I wanted.
When the wig arrived, I had mixed feelings. Let me start with the positives: I have a very small head, so I ordered an XS cap. I was worried it would still be too big, but it fits perfectly. The cap itself is really well made. The length is good as well. The hair looks nice at first glance, although I havenât washed it yet, so Iâll leave another review once I see how it behaves after washing.
Now to the disappointments: The Ciara wig I received has visible layers, even though I specifically checked with them before shipping and was told Ciara does not have layers. On their official videos and photos, the Ciara wig also appears straight and without layering, and it also looks fuller at the bottom than the one I received, which makes this even more confusing.
The color also doesnât match what was shown on your official photos and videos. The Ciara wig there has a softer, lighter chocolate-brown root that gradually blends into warm, golden tones toward the ends. The wig I received, however, has a much darker root, and instead of a smooth golden balayage it looks more like cool-toned streaks. The highlights appear almost white or ashy, which gives the overall look a more neutral, cooler tone rather than the warm, soft blonde I was expecting.
From what I understand, Nuola takes blonde wigs and custom-colors them before shipping. That means their main responsibility is to get the color right â but unfortunately, in my case, they didnât. Considering this wig is one of the pricier options on their website, I really didnât expect such a mistake, especially since I ordered it for my wedding.
To be fair, the wig doesnât look bad â itâs just not what I ordered.
UPDATE:
I was given the option to return this wig and receive a new one, but by now Iâve completely lost trust. There is no guarantee that the replacement would have the right color, and Iâm terrified it wouldnât even arrive before my wedding.
I canât explain how hurt I feel â I cry every time I look at this wig, because all I can think about is that I paid nearly $2000 and ended up with something I never wanted. Before ordering, I had a consultation with them, I checked everything, I asked so many questions over email to make sure it would be right. They knew it was for my wedding, and still it was delivered wrong.
They call themselves hair specialists, but I honestly donât understand how such a mistake could happen. Instead of making me feel beautiful and confident, they have only added more insecurity on top of everything else I already struggle with.
Now I need to pay also hair colorist to fix it, but only white parta could be fixed, the dark parts are too dark for any coloring.
If anyone would ever like to see photos of what I received compared to what was advertised, Iâd be more than happy to share them.

I purchased a wig from Nuolawigs and at first all seemed well with Fadzai and others responding to queries in a very timely manner. After purchase, I was sent a wig with roots that were over-bleeched so looked like I had dandruff when worn. Sent pictures and they agreed to replace wig after I sent the wig back to them, which I did promptly many months ago and after initially agreeing to send out another wig, to date they have not sent a replacement wig or refunded my $1700+ I paid in early April. I have sent many emails chasing this up and after initially saying they would get back to me, they have now ghosted me and are not replying back to any of my messages for a refund. Absolutely terrible customer service and fraudulent behaviour. 0/5 stars

3 stars because I was initially extremely happy with my wig and because they tried to resolve it but I just canât send my wig back without a replacement.
I lost all my hair very quickly last year due to alopecia universalis. I anticipated losing all of my hair so I had ordered in advance.
When my wig arrived it was beautiful and thick.
Fast forward to roughly 6 months later, I was having terrible issues with the back of the wig matting and constantly sticking out from my head.
I did contact them and they kindly offered for me to send it back even though it was past the 6 month warranty.
Sadly I cannot send it back as I donât have another wig yet.
I only wear my wig to work 3 days a week at home I donât wear it.
Iâve been very careful withy wig, Iâm a hairstylist and try my best to look after my wig Because it was such an expensive purchase but a very necessary purchase.
Iâm so disappointed with the shedding in the back and from what Ive researched it shouldnât shed this much so soon.
The back is really balding and it gives me severe anxiety because I already lost all of my hair now Iâm worried my wig is losing hair.
Again they did offer for me to send it back but itâs just not possible for me to do that.
So Iâm pretty upset and hoping to find a less expensive wig here in the US.

I received a product that was far from what was promisedâwrong specifications, poor qualityâand when I raised concerns, I was met with cold, evasive communication, delays, and a total lack of empathy. They were far more interested in protecting their image and funds than doing right by a medically vulnerable customer.
