Wrong colour, I'm told its my fault !

Used the search function to find the correct bike listed, only 1 option for a 2022 Specialized Tarmac SL8 with a deep red to black fade, just the one ! I selected the red and placed my order. when the paint arrived I was immediately suspicious even when it we still in the container, sure enough, not even close. Contacted the supplier who then asked for the serial number of the frame which I did, I was then told they don't have that colour yet ! no mention of a need for the serial number on the initial search.
No refund offered when asked, I was told "you chose the wrong colour"
I paint a lot of bikes, I will not be using this company again.

Hi Rick,

Thank you for your review. All reviews are appreciated whether they are positive or negative, as they help us to improve our processes and procedures.

As discussed, your order was for the Maroon Specialized colourway. Upon checking the serial number with Specialized UK, the colourway of the bike was confirmed to be Red Tint. This is why the colour of the touch up paint was not a match to the bike.

If you were unsure as to which colour you required, our customer service team would have been more than happy to help.

Unfortunately, we can't offer refunds or replacement paint where the incorrect colour has been ordered.

If we can be of any further assistance, or if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us on 01536 454018 or via email: sales@onlinepaintshop.co.uk

Kind regards,
The Online Paint Shop

Excellent company

Firstly the product supplied was great. I have not used 2K clear coat aerosols before but with my limited skills and facilities was able to get a very good result. A semi gloss finish is a challange as it can't be enhanced by sanding and buffing.
Delivery was very swift, price good, and communication top notch. Many Thanks
