Harwell units from Only Oak Furniture
I was impressed with the quality of the furniture. I bought a display cabinet first, followed by the small sideboard.
I was so impressed that I have now ordered a corner display cabinet.
Very helpful staff when you enquire about any aspect of your orders.

Misleading delivery schedule. Good product.
The kitchen island I ordered is good but I am not impressed with the extremely long time it has taken from order in September to eventual delivery in April. I was told on numerous occasions that delivery was imminent. Delivery couriers very eager to drop and go despite me asking for them to put it the right way up on floor and to give me time to check it. I will not be using Only Oak Furniture again.

While we're glad to know you're happy with the kitchen island itself, we completely understand your frustration regarding the long wait and the repeated assurances of an imminent delivery that didn’t come to pass. That’s not the experience we aim to deliver, and we sincerely apologise for the delays and lack of clear communication.
We also regret that the delivery service fell short of expectations. Your request to have the item positioned correctly and checked should have been respected, and we’ll be addressing this with our delivery partners to prevent similar issues in the future.
We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will use your feedback to improve both our service and communication going forward. We're sorry to lose your trust and hope you’ll reconsider us in the future.
Empty promises
We ordered a Butcher’s block on 27th September with a 9 weeks delivery schedule. We called at beginning of November and were assured we would have it in time for Christmas. It was eventually delivered on Saturday 5th April after the courier firm postponed delivery from 4th April. We sent emails in December, January, February and March querying a delivery date and were told on numerous occasions “it’s on the water” and should be with us by end of the following month. We’ll never use this company again.

While some delays were unfortunately beyond our control due to supply chain issues, we recognise that our communication should have been more accurate and proactive throughout the process. We’re currently reviewing our procedures to ensure we handle situations like this much better in the future.

The chest of drawers is beautiful so solid and well made. Could not be more delighted
A big thanks to the delivery team who gallantly lifted the 1 ton chest up the flight of stairs to our bedroom. Even my husband was out of breath watching them

Beautiful furniture and well priced
Beautiful furniture and well priced. I wish I had a bigger house so I could have more Only Oak furniture, so much to choose from. It all arrived very well packed and protected. The Company looked after me when I had a problem with the delivery company. It was dealt with in a very professional way. Well deserved five stars and have already recommended Only Oak to a friend.

Kitchen Island
We ordered a stand alone Kitchen Island from Only Oak Furniture. They have a very good customer service who were quick to respond. We are very pleased with our kitchen island and fits our requirements. I would also like to mention the delivery company that was used, they were very helpful as we couldn't receive the goods on the initial day and were happy to rearrange a suitable day.

My new large oak desk is just as I had hoped.
The delivery team were very professional and placed it where I requested. At 80 years of age I found it a struggle to remove the cardboard and polystyrene protective covering. Not easy to dispose either.
However overall the item purchased is exactly as required and I’m very satisfied with the product.

Lovely furniture, shame about the courier.
Very pleased with the tables. They are just what I wanted.my experience was spoiled by the delivery company who gave me a delivery date then delivered the tables a day earlier then sent me a message apologising but they couldn’t deliver! Change your courier!

HiFi cabinet - very satisfied
Bought a HiFi cabinet in the Scandic range.
Very pleased with the unit - seems solid, well constructed and is good to look at. The oak finish is handsome. I had to screw in the legs myself and was worried about something in the unit, like the glass shelves, falling and breaking while I tipped the unit to fit on the legs. However it was so well packed that nothing moved while I was doing it.
There could have been information about how to move the glass shelves - 3 positions are available but it’s not immediately obvious how to move the shelves up or down.
Very pleased in spite of long wait for delivery - well worth waiting for.

Island delivery
The two lads were here earlier than expected and they were happy to bring the island around the back and in through bi-fold doors, they were friendly and careful when carrying out the delivery. After they had gone I unpacked the island and was very happy with the island, we think it looks fantastic, Many thanks

Beautiful item which is really well made.
The piece of furniture was really well packed up with cardboard which can be recycled, and when I opened it up I was delighted with the quality of the item. The bookcase is lovely and looks even better than on the website. The customer support through the process was also excellent.

Lovely Shoe Cupboard
Customer service lady was very helpful when I phoned re stock level, which was low. It seems I ordered just in time & I am delighted with my new shoe cupboard. It looks good in my hallway, is very well made & the sloping shelves easily accommodate my husband's size 12 shoes. It arrived very well packed & delivered with care by 2 delivery men. Would not hesitate to order from this company again.
