Wont buy again
DHL put the dirty bin on top of my parcel on my door step and Organic Delivery company wouldn't pay the return cost for a refund. Disgusting !!

Hi Merlin,
As explained to you on the phone yesterday when you called demanding a refund and also in our follow up email to you, DHL did provide us with a delivery photo which we shared with you which showed the box being left on your doorstep intact with no bin in view.
We explained that we were ok with you returning the order which we would refund in full once received but that we can't arrange a collection for you unfortunately as the delivery evidence we were provided by DHL shows the delivery was completed with no damage or bins in sight.
Our boxes are always sealed so your order is protected but if you would still prefer to return your order please do so to the return address we provided you with.

Some of the produce was good. However cucumbers, round courgettes, patties pan squash were all over mature and unusable. Also the red potatoes were mostly tiny and difficult to use. The broccoli went yellow after 48 hours. I won’t buy again but will be more careful in future about where I shop for organic produce. No refund was given. Disappointing experience.

We did respond to your email that we received yesterday regarding this order and as we explained in our email, this order was delivered just over a week ago now and we normally hear from our customers on the day of delivery or the day after if there are any issues.
This way we can determine if the issue is a packing or courier problem and we are able to offer a refund or replacement as this can be investigated within a reasonable timescale given that our deliveries are fresh food, the longer this is left the more this deteriorates and it makes it difficult for us to help given that we can't investigate quality issues if over a week has passed since the delivery is made.
We have processed a partial refund for you today as a gesture of goodwill and we're very sorry again that this was your experience.

Generally good produce but let down by missing items and flimsy bags.
It's easy enough to order on the website, although it would be really helpful if you could see all the fruit, veg etc at one time, rather than having to scroll through lots of pages. It would also help to have things that come in a variety of weights to be listed as one item, where you choose the weight rather than separate items. It's a bit annoying, as well, that some products are only available in London. I think they know where you are when you login so could make those items unavailable.
Generally the produce is fresh and arrives on the day requested. It's eco packaged which I like. The bags can be a bit flimsy and so double bagging or some stronger bags would help, especially for things like potatoes (the bag ALWAYS breaks as you try to lift them out).
I do find it irksome that when something is not available, it just doesn't arrive. Eventually, you get an email with the fact it was missing and is refunded. Refunds are quite slow (standard 3-5 working days) and I'd like to know before the order arrives as they must know when packing (outside London this is the day before the order is due to arrive), that way I could either go shopping or add it to my supermarket order. Range of produce is not a large as some places BUT they do have stuff you can't get in supermarkets AND it is sometimes cheaper to buy, so it's worth looking around at prices elsewhere before ordering. Free delivery for orders over £30 is definitely a draw to ordering every week. Watch out for the days when you can't have a delivery, so as not to be caught out (we are all too used to 24/7 deliveries now).

All the vegetables and fruits were…
All the vegetables and fruits were packed well for delivery and arrived without anything bruised or broken. This is an important thing for us since we live in a remote area. Most of all we enjoyed the fresh vegetables and the fruits of mouth watering full flavours.
It was one off order, and I’m considering a regular ordering.
Thank you for providing excellent organic produces and the fruits.

Delivery by DHL was a day late
Delivery by DHL was a day late. Fortunately I had a few days off work so I was in the following day. The produce was still in a surprisingly good condition, with only the lettuce a little brown, which I thought prudent to bin ( compost ). I may use again but use of courier may make me think twice.

Choice is good and delivery very…
Choice is good and delivery very quick. I found ordering not very straight forward and ended up with 4 times the amount of shallots than I needed.
The quality is very good. The only fly in the ointment were the sealed bag of Romano peppers - one had gone and the other very soft.

Quick and easy order
Quick and easy order, but the box had clearly been knocked around a bit and the Alfalfa was warm, which is not good, it's ok though. I might order root veg again, but I would not order any chilled foods or fragile veg/salad. I think it has to travel too far.

The mangoes delivered looked perfect .
The mangoes looked perfect, haven't tried them as waiting for them to ripen.
One item wasn't available and I was quickly refunded. I will definitely order again. Very reasonable price wise.

Arrived on time
Arrived on time, although box was damaged. Large Veg box,even taking into consideration the time of year,had a poor selection of green veg. What did come,was tired and bruised, and limp.

Terrible packing,
I usually order from Riverford but thought I would give this company a try. Prices are good, delivered on time but packaging was very poor. My fruit and salad items were packed loose in the same box as the potatoes, swede etc. Most of my items were bruised, smashed or damaged, the sprouts were slimy and since my complaint most of the other veg that I thought ok has deteriorated at an alarming speed. All I managed to save was a cabbage, one apple, potatoes, leeks and beetroot so I paid £32.00 for products that went straight in the compost bin, I did get a refund of £12.27 but that did not cover the cost of what I threw away.

Ordered veg, cancelled day of delivery
I ordered some special veg for a birthday meal for some friends. They cancelled mid day the delivery was due, even though the order was confirmed for a week. I didn't have time to order somewhere else for the big day, very disappointed

As we explained in our email to you, we pack all orders fresh the day before delivery. The item you ordered was available at the time you placed your order but unfortunately wasn't when it came to packing which can happen sometimes, although we completely understand how frustrating this can be.
Due to our hosting system, when we process any refunds the notification can take up to 24 hours to reach you and this is why you didn't receive your email until the day of delivery. We have raised this feedback with our host site as we agree this could be much more efficient and would improve our customers experience.
