Hounded ever day by texts emails letters post over a debt they can’t confirm is mine.

I’m a vulnerable adult and they hounding worse than a dog on heat.

Scum of the earth,bottom feeders,lowest of the low,absolute garbage company is being polite,if there’s 1 company you would wish to go bust it’s this one, 1 star is to good for these crooks

So threatening bailiffs next even though I don't owe the debt absolute out criminal you've already given me a ccj for no reason. So I ain't paying something i do not owe in the first place and I will be going to the ombudsman as you're company us corrupt as our pm and that says it all

I had been given 7 days to get in touch about a debt.

I've emailed twice about this and no response and today is day 7!!!! Can someone please get in touch!!!

UPDATE have already emailed complaints no reply. Called and was 87 in queue which is not viable when working. I’m now past day 7!!!!! And will probably get penalised for not contact you when I have done nothing but try.

The website won’t let me set up a payment plan as it says there’s already one in place but according to the email it’s not the case and I need to pay in three

I have been paying every month on my account, tried to set up a payment plan online like I was advised but the website wouldn't let me. I continue to pay online the remaining £115 I called them today as I had a threatening email saying they were taking me to court for the whole £115 the man I spoke to just kept insisting I go through a budgeting list which I have done online but he just kept repeating himself so I hung up. Awful Company I will not be communicating with them anymore.

Had a payment plan set up with them for over a year no problem. I recently suffered a relapse in my mental health issue and messed up my finances causing my payment plan direct debit to fail. Although I have not fallen behind on my payments and make them manually, they keep contacting me via email telling me I am failing to keep up with my CCJ and will apply for further action because no payment plan is set up.

However there is no option at all to set up a payment plan on the online portal, every time I've reached out to customer service to correct this before they even started emailed me has been ignored! Completely useless and frustrating system.

If I could leave no stars, I would. I was on the phone to their so- called helpful staff for 1 hour 20 minutes. They outright LIED that they hadn't received my email when I've had an acknowledgement back! For a legal firm, I find this deeply concerning and will be making a complaint to the Solicitors Regulation Authority. I offered a payment of the amount owing which they refused because they wanted over £250 in legal fees and interest. When I offered to agree to the legal fees, they still refused wanting £115 in interest. How they call this "helpful" I don't know. How is anyone supposed to get out of the debt hole, when they keep adding on outrageous amounts on top of it?

This company are acting in conjunction with there partners Lowell
They have contacted me saying I owe them money on an order that was made many years ago and was paid off from Jan 2016 until Jan 2020
They will not give any information as a charge was put on my property which I want removing
I am in contact with land registry and will take them to court over this fraudulent claim
I have contacted you asking for further information by email but you have declined my request

Absolute clowns this company ive looked on my credit report and they added a ccj to my file even tho I was on a iva what a joke

Disgraceful company preying on the vulnerable. They failed to update my contact details despite requesting they do so on two separate occasions, and continued sending correspondence to an out of date email address that my abusive ex-partner had access to. When I complained about the GDPR breach, they simply apologised but said there’s nothing they can do, but the failure to communicate with me appropriately meant they decided to take me to court and I was therefore not served the relevant paperwork. They outright refused to keep the case in their hands despite my offer to pay. This has left me at a significant disadvantage when I am newly postpartum and incredibly vulnerable. As a result of their straight refusal to remediate their mistakes, I intend on taking the GDPR case all the way and suing for the relevant damages. Such a shame as this could’ve been resolved so much earlier and easier, saving a lot of paperwork for the both of us.

Where to start with Overdales.
Have a debt with Lowell from 6+ years ago I engaged with these people as they are relentless with their bullying and aggressive debt collection, I admit I set up previous plans and have failed to pay due to mental health problems, the last letter giving me 30days to set up a plan or pay in full was 6/11/25, so I filled in The paperwork with a payment plan and offer, kept copies for future reference 23/11/25, got another threatening email 5/12/25 saying I had failed to contact them so they are proceeding to go to court, so I emailed them twice on 5/12/25, sent all paperwork as attachments, then again on the 6/12/25,
No reply so called them and nobody available as they was having a business event, so emailed them again 9/12/25attached forms again, then got the county court papers so I filled them in with my defence and printed off all emails as proof required, the court then forwarded the same forms to Overdales to respond to.( all the emails had dates clearly showing when they was sent) but again Overdales are claiming no contact and consistent in asking for proof of contact.they also claim that I logged into my account 5/12/25 and didn’t issue a payment plan, this function isn’t even on the account page for me to even complete just a demand for full payment and court costs, even now they want costs paid for and it hasn’t even been to court,
Raised a complaint with Overdales on 26/1/26 received a response to include all emails that I had sent ? Which did again and no reply since apart from a court small claims form from them demanding all up front or split in two or £30 a month )they know I can’t afford that) plus £122 to set that up !!!
So are they saying that all forms of communication from me and the court have all gone missing, so they must have received the court papers with the defence proof otherwise they wouldn’t be able to deny my claims they ignored all contact, this place just wants to increase the debt as much as possible,
How they can say with any amount of professionalism that they haven’t had any contact or paperwork when it has been sent 6 times by two different places.

I’ve have sent 3 emails to both the help address and complaints address with no reply. I am trying to set up a payment plan to clear my dues and it won’t let me do it on their online portal.

They practice predatory debt buying—purchasing old debts for pennies on the pound (like buying a £500 debt for just £30) and then using aggressive legal threats and CCJs to squeeze the full amount out of people. I, contacted Overdales, regarding my outstanding debt.
I was put through to a lady, called Dianne. I explained my situation to her. She only cared about my financial well-being and the affect the payments could have on my health ,before accepting a penny from me. Dianne, advised me and I was able to pay my debt in full. Debt collectors can be *****, but I can honestly say that Dianne, is a decent person. Thank you Dianne. Keep doing an outstanding job!! X

Unable to contact them by phone due to hearing impairment so I emailed them on complaints email as that’s the only email I came across on Monday to set up a plan due to them wanting to file a CCJ and have heard nothing back about It they even have my name wrong I can’t even access my account on the portal as it states the reference number is not recognised now I’m stuck and don’t know what to do

This company has taken a case to court years after it was already fully paid.
All payments were completed and the matter was settled, yet they have now reopened the same case and started court proceedings again.
This has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience and shows a serious failure in record-keeping and case management.
I am currently forced to prove payment for a debt that should never have been pursued again. I would strongly advise others to be cautious and keep all payment evidence if dealing with this company.

By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They do not listen, constantly talk over you, and speak in a rude and disrespectful manner. Their lack of customer care is shocking, and their staff display consistently poor attitudes.
I am currently pursuing this matter through the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). I strongly advise anyone experiencing similar issues with this company to do the same. An utterly diabolical experience.

If i could give less than one star i would, horrible company who harraseed me with multiple calls whist i was at a funeral.
The debt they’re saying i owe isn’t even mine and they’re threatening to go to an address i haven’t lived at for years, non stop threatening me on phone calls and letter, always adding more money onto the debt i don’t owe, evil company

Don’t trust them! They pull info from credit reports and hold no original documents. They are actually owned by Lowell and are in the same building. It’s A Scam! Don’t pay a pennie!

I have had the misfortune to be dealing with these people over an alleged bill from sky i.e.overdales/ Lowell they claim I never cancelled my contract which in furnace I did give more than 31 days but they said they never receive a cancellation and now they’re trying to claim money from me threatening me with courts and CJ’s for something I do not owe thay do not listen and all they can say is if I want a payment plan to avoid any future costs if I owe money I would’ve paid it to sky and not to that parasite company Lowell they say their here to help you but in fact all they want is a profit and do not care about the people they’re trying to force people into submission and claim money from this has been going on now for over 2 years and every time I ask for them to show me any contract all they do is show me the same old rubbish which has been submitted by that parasitic company Lowll I have never dealt with such a lowlife company as this thank you overdales
