Rude and disrespectful customer service on the initial phone enquiry today with Sharon at the Rotherham Parkgate mobility regarding a purchase of a stair lift for my mother who will be returning home after 5 weeks in hospital.
She asked for my mothers height and weight and when I explained that she is 6 and a half stone and only 4ft 7 due to weight loss from illness and osteoporosis, the response I got from Sharon was
“I got more than I bargained for with the answer to that question!!” I was flabbergasted at that response. If this is the standard of customer care before purchase, I certainly do not wish my elderly mother to have to deal with this lack of empathy or care and for this reason I will be making a purchase via another well established company who do value customer care.

Darren was brilliant. Excellent service and help. I can't fault the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble. Great.

Just had a very helpful session with Danielle at Loughborough. Danielle took a lot of time helping us understand the advantages and disadvantages different wheelchair options. Nothing was too much trouble.

Just purchased a mobility scooter from the castleford branch and was very pleased with the whole experience. Keith was very helpful, very knowledgeable and extremely patient. He really took his time with me and explained all my options,

Just wanted to say that the lovely lady in the Worksop branch is always so friendly and lovely as well as being very helpful and knowledgeable.
It’s not very often that I feel I get such brilliant customer service as I do when I go into the Worksop branch of Parkgate. Nothing is too much trouble for her.
I can’t remember the exact dates I was there but I went once years ago to get my mum a wheelchair when she was terminally ill and again more recently with a patient I support to get her a walker.

Thankyou to Nick at Crystal Peaks, he has helped Mum get moving and confident again with her new walker. He was so helpful with his advice and support which was given so freely and with humour, too. We, the family, are so pleased and would certainly recommend Parkgate.

I visited Parkgate Mobility Batley today for the second time to look at the Admiral quad motor chair, I was still unsure about buying it but Berni was very informative and helpful and friendly I ended up buying the chair and really pleased with the customer service. I would definitely recommend.

We visited Parkgate Mobility in Wakefield today and were very ably assisted by Adrian. He answered all our questions, helped us with a demonstration run, gave us lots of very useful information regarding the product ,all with a great sense of humour and a wide range of knowledge.
We were very satisfied with the service we received and were therefore very happy to make our purchase there and then in the store.

This was our second visit to the shop today, and both times we were served by Adrian. What a genuinely lovely man he is. He helped us with every question we had, including ones we hadn’t even thought to ask. He was extremely professional, helpful, caring, and compassionate during the very sad situation we have found ourselves in. We’re truly grateful for his support and kindness. Really excellent service provided by Darren yesterday delivering an access ramp for my dear Mother. Very helpful, friendly, understanding, patient and supportive. Kept me informed re approximate arrival time and arrived exactly as stated. Very impressed with the service and the equipment is very good too, fit for purpose and it will make a big difference. My wifes mobility scooter developed an annoying 'clunk' on the rear wheel. The repair was carried out by Stuart within a couple of days of our reporting the fault. Start arrived in good time & had the problem diagnosed and repaired within the hour. Great, first class service.

Easy to book a service appointment by phone. The work was carried out promptly and Wayne, the engineer who carried out the work, was pleasant, listened to my explanation of the problem with my scooter and then explained what he had done.

I went into the recently opened shop in Armthorpe a couple of weeks ago and explained to Amy what is was I needed to query. She was very helpful and gave me a catalogue to take home to view. My return to the shop resulted in getting the information and item I needed . Amy was very professional in her offers of what was available. Friendly and positive, knew exactly what it was I required. No nonsense approach . Brilliant service I felt quite at ease in buying the correct item for what I needed. I would recommend this shop and products even if its just advice that's needed

A company that is trustworthy is harder to fin this day and age; I have one in Parkgate Mobility. Wayne is especially deserving of praise; polite, quick, listens to understand. Much appreciation! Peter
