Excellent prompt emergency advice
Excellent prompt emergency advice in a face to face video call. Recommended taking your dog to an emergency vet within the hour otherwise there could be major problems later. Which we did. Our dog is now fine.
Quick & Easy
Really quick and easy to speak to someone, and got some great advice that ended up saving us the time & money on what would have been a wasted trip to the vet!
Quick response but advice not appropriate
A very quick appointment response (as I was not sure how quickly I could see my normal vet) but, understanding the full history was not available, the advice given was completely discounted by my normal vet.
No Response to Emergency Call
Our 5 month old puppy suddenly developed a very swollen face, left side of mouth, across the muzzle, above the nose and a very swollen eye.
Immediately used the app to contact PawSquad, and was informed that a vet would respond in 90 seconds. Got the name of the Italian named vet Francesca (cannot recall full last name but began with M) and after 12 minutes decided to try again. The same deal, but on the line for half an hour, in the meantime my wife contacted our own vet Emergency Service and was advised to check if the poor little pup had been stung. I carefully checked but she did not appear to have any pain, but was anxious and in discomfort. I checked the garden to find that she had dug up an ants nest away from the house, and after discussion we decided to wait and see if there were any further symptoms and call back if she appeared to have any further symptoms.
In the meantime I had been disconnected from the PawSquad app.
If this had been a worse emergency, our pup could have been very ill before any response. I will be discussing the lack of response with our insurer LV with whom we were offered the PawSquad service, I shall not be renewing with them.

Reassuring advice

Very fast response with amazing Vets
Very fast response - able to speak to the vet on video via phone or by text . I have used this service twice and both diagnosis and advice were correct , calmly dealt with where needed , signposted and escalated if necessary . You can ask I anything big 24/7 - or small !! Amazing service , excellent
Takes your money
Tried to use this service today and scheduled and payed for appointment. Went to the waiting room for my appointment where it said most calls are seen to in 90 seconds. I waited 25 minutes and then my appointment dissappeared. Just hoping they refund me my £24.

Professional service from dedicated vets
Really helpful in guiding me to the correct steps. Sadly my dog was old and although a stomach upset had prompted me to ask for advice, the PawSquad vet recommended I take my dog for a physical examination, given his age.
It prepared me for what was inevitably to come. The lady was kind, clear and supportive throughout. I highly recommend pet owners to seek their help if you need it.

My beautiful girl was bitten on her pad, and I was very worried. I spoke a wonderful vet she made me feel very comfortable. She took her time to make sure she knew exactly what had happened. She gave me very good advice. not just you need to take her to your local out of hours vets. that would have cost me a minimum of £500. She only cared that my fur baby was getting the correct treatment. I had spoken to the out of hours emergency vet they said to bring her in and they would do tests and give her antibiotics. The fee alone is almost £350 the antibiotics for 10 is £140 then blood tests on top. She said I didn't need theses as the wound is clean not very deep at all. Over 2 week on and all healed with no infections.
Excellent service
Such a great service, I’ve used it many times during our vets out of hours and when abroad. The vets are always helpful and knowledgeable and it’s great to have them there 24/7 when you really need someone to reassure you…excellent service.
My dog had a problem at a weekend
My dog had a problem at a weekend, not serious enough to warrant an out of hours appointment but still concerning. I used PawSquad to get a vet's opinion which put my mind at rest and I made an appointment with my vet on the Monday.
PawSquad is a great service for those times when you need some advice and reassurance.

The vets were excellent on both calls and I was very impressed with the vet on Sunday who ring me back on Wednesday and apologised. Very good service offered by Paw Squad
WARNING
WARNING. Did not help with my query and when I tried to cancel my membership with them the customer service team was not good at all and told me they charge you for 3 months every month before you're allowed to cancel even if you don't use it so they just basically want to take your money.

An important and invaluable service
My dog had surgery and had managed to remove a couple of of her stitches with the edge of her buster collar I contacted Pawsquad and spoke to a vet sent pictures and was advised what to do their care and compassion was invaluable I would not have coped with the worry and stress had it not been for them. Also had problems with my membership as it was not going on and the vet I spoke to said she would speak to their IT I was contacted by a lovely gentleman called Levi who sorted it all out for me. This company supplies a fantastic service and their customer service is impeccable. I would not hesitate to call them again if the need arises and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. And I can’t thank them enough for making mine and my dog’s bank holiday weekend a lot less stressful than it could have been.
