Very poor turnaround time and incorrect availability info on website...

Chose an in-stock item for two day delivery. It wasn't until late on the night of the order that I was asked to call in to verify an address (an address that PCM has shipped to before), and then it was the Saturday after the Thursday order when I received an order status e-mail stating the item was on backorder. PCM failed in every way possible. If you want something reasonably quickly, PCM doesn't seem to be the best choice.

Very disappointed with PCM

Very disappointed with PCM. Item was advertised and still is advertised as coming with 2GB of RAM, 32GB hard drive, and Win10 Home, but when package arrived, none of this was included. I had even called prior to ordering to confirm these items did indeed ship with the PC and was told yes by two different individuals with PCM. I called support and was told that no, it does not come with those items and is strictly a bare bones system. Will not buy anything from PCM again.

On Saturday May 6th I placed an order …

On Saturday May 6th I placed an order for 2 items that were in Stock and ready to ship the next business day. I also paid $42 dollars and change for guaranteed next day delivery. Both items were supposed to be delivered today May 9th. ONLY ONE item was shipped! So I called customer service, and get someone who can barely speak the English language, and ask them to remove all shipping charges from the order, which they agree to do... Next problem arises, the still have the WRONG dollar amount with sales tax.... Now this is not rocket science here, subtract the shipping and calculate my tax by multiplying the item totals by 1.08 for my tax rate in NY by the county I am in... She can't even do that right! Insists my order total is 4 dollars and change more than it should be! Really? Can't speak good English, can't use a calculator, what the the heck is wrong with your company? Now let's top that off.... I get a confirmation email for the order and the email asking me to take this survey, and a tracking number for the first item, which is a cpu... The other item still says "in process" as I type this review at 10:55pm on Tuesday the 9th.... No tracking number, no confirmation of shipment email... Nothing!!!!! What kind of slack jawed business are you running here? I paid a few dollars extra for the mother board to get it all at once next day overnight. Could have saved $20.00 on the motherboard by ordering it separate from a competitor! Think long and hard before you set down the dollars to buy from this company, their shipping is terrible, customer service is terrible, the intelligence of their employees is terrible!

Absolutely unprofessional company

Absolutely unprofessional company. Bait and switch galore. They cancelled every single order I placed with them except one, claiming incorrect price. And the one order they did ship, they sent the wrong item and charged me $56 for ground shipping of a 0.7lbs package. Completely horrible and unacceptable!

Our sales guy is great

Our sales guy is great; which is the only reason you are receiving 4 stars. Your customer service representative called twice after the order was placed asking personal information which is not required for a purchase. She wanted to know our landlords name and why don't we own our home and wanted our landlords phone number. This is not information which is required for making a purchase on line and should never be asked.

I ordered a second 8-port smart switch for my home network - the first one worked great, right out of the box, and the item was so much better than what I could find locally. PCM has been a great resource for me.

Re-Stocking Fee

i ordered the wrong item and I was required to pay to return it. Other online service like Amazon and Staples would not charge me to restock an item. I believe that this company is aweful and I will never use PCM again. Just aweful!

Why say item is on backorder, when it is not?

The only issue I had with the transaction is that I ordered the items before noon, but when I checked the status in the afternoon it said they were placed on backorder. This caused some panic, because I need these items in order to do my job. I had already had one company show they had them in stock, only to find out the next day that they were on backorder. I do appreciate you getting them out to me, but it is messed up to say they are on backorder, then send an email in morning saying they were sent. I went to bed, worrying about if I would ever get them and be able to go to work.

Difficult purchasing experience

I was ordering something on behalf of my company so using a card that did not have my name on it but I had full authority and all relevant security info etc. Took a week to get that sorted then when the order was finally shipped it was returned to sender for no reason. Called customer support, call dropped immediately. Called again and the girl on the other line had me on hold for 15 mins while she tried to figure out what happened. Overall, very painful and long process for one item.

Unsatisfied

I placed an order yesterday around noon for it to be delivered today before 10am. I called several times yesterday to get a tracking number but it wasn't available. Today I called and to my disappointment what I ordered wasn't shipped as promised. Nobody can give me a reason why it wasn't shipped yesterday. This has definitely interfere with some business we were doing. Now they promised to ship today to delivery tomorrow. It's almost 3pm and still no tracking number. I will not ever purchase anything from this company nor will I recommend it.
