Do NOT EVER get a subscription with them.
Absolutely terrible. If a teacher/professer ever tells you to get a subscription for a book, say no. I've been paying for my classes book for 3 months and a week, the class is now over, I don't need the book subscription anymore and I CAN'T cancel it. There is literally no option to cancel a subscription, there is only an option to EXTEND it. Absolutely robbery and deception. I'm stuck paying for this book for 5 MORE MONTHS now, when I'm not using it at all.

I can't believe I didn't check Trust Pilot before subscribing to Pearson. It was HORRIBLE! You are committing to paying for 6 months minimum if you miss the 14 day grace window. Secondly, I thought once you're paying a ton of money for a subscription, you get access to all their books. WRONG you pay for just one book! It is a ridiculous their policy. DON'T USE PEARSON! Just buy the book for the same price, and sell it after.
Failed an entire class due to Pearson
Failed an entire class due to Pearson. First of all the site is horrible, it crashes, lags, spelling errors, badly written questions and if you submit something double check that the file doesn't submit as a blank file, that's if it lets you submit at all.
During my final in an Excel class, I had finished the 2 exams before the time was up but thanks to Pearson the first file was submitted as a blank file while the second file wouldn't let me submit due to a submission error, by the time it let me submit the second file the time was over. Due to the exam being worth 45% of my grade, I ended up failing the class. I've never written a bad review before but this site truly earns it with how badly it runs.
Understaffed and it shows
I travel a lot. I always end up waiting at Pearson for personnel. Today it is a missing gate agent. Last week it was missing ground crew. Before that, inadequate number of people working security. This airport is terribly understaffed and it shows.
Terrible experience, always passing the blame
Peasons site is an absolute nightmare to deal with, the site can crash at a whim, it can loose your account details, and when you contact their customer support, they will blame everything but their own system.
Trying to get files for exams off their site, and they were saying the account was not recognised. Despite working the day before, they tried to claim the fault was with our schools firewall, which was stopping the authentication process.
IT department checked and no changes had been made on our end, and we could still access the site, inspite of them claiming our firewall was blocking all access.
Even when IT spoke to them directly, they tried to make the same excuses, and would panic when told they were actually speaking to our IT team, and had checked that nothing was blocked on our end.
Account miraculously started working a few minutes after the call ended, almost as if they finally pulled their thumbs out and did their job once they were forced to deal with someone who could call their lies out and get them to do their job.

Really annoying
Nice woman that helped me in the chat, but could not do anything. Have been in the chat for over an hour and been calling the service for over an hour, and still did not get help. At the end they said I should contact another service, but then I end up in the same chat... I hope they will contact/help me in the folowing days but I doubt it. Now I lost 55 euros for nothing.

Always a horrible experience as a teacher to get involved with them. They are discriminating pay. So when you are european or white you get paid more for marking. Based on personal experiences.
Then every 3 month they look you out from your account and you need to waste 2 hours to get access to your account.
Advise for any teacher, stay away from this organisation.

I am fortunate enough to attend college with reduced tuition fees. That does not mean, however, that I should be paying egregious amounts of money to access low-quality and derivative homework. $80 per semester at minimum? Seriously? There is already outrage about this, but it needs to be louder. I would rather take a hit to my GPA than pay this organization another cent of my money.

Pearson might be a good program...once you are in.
I find every time I have to call to access my text book, each time there is some problem with actually reaching my text book to a point where I stopped using a text book and hope for the best.

I have had the worst learning experience using this platform as a student. From doing homework to taking exams, I have not enjoyed and had so many difficulties in every assignment. During a statistics exam, I must open and close 20 or so different graphs and charts. Many of them did not even load so I am missing information when trying to answer questions. When closing the graphs and charts, it would often change my answers I had previously selected. This caused me to miss several questions even though I had answered them correctly beforehand. Anyways, I don't understand why universities and other schools continue to use programs like this when it is always an awful experience. This hinders learning experiences for students much more than it aids.
Paid £77 for an urgent order
Paid £77 for an urgent order. After several emails of chasing and providing the same information again and again only half of my order arrived. I have emailed them and get no response.
It's poor form. We are forced to use them yet they have zero accountability for the standard of the service they should provide.
Seeking legal advice due to malpractice.
Took a payment to deliver a service they offered, didn't complete in time then refused a full refund. Initially charged £57 and could only return £20 without certificate. Now have to wait for an email to process with no point of contact. Happy to give this to my legal team to execute accordingly.
Refunding is a drama
I asked for a refund, and they said it would be done and dusted. Not only dit I have to call/mail multiple times, I had to wait 3 months to get it. Adding on to that, they missed 3.61 of the refunded value. Its not a big enough amount to make a fuss over, however I do find it odd and frustrating that they just did not refund me fully even though they had stated in an e-mail (so on paper) that they would. I'm actually pissed.

Error Code 1001 and terrible customer support
I have had the same 1001 Error Code for a textbook I already purchased for two semesters in a row as an issue. I have called customer service over 12 times over the course of both semesters where I have gotten disconnected and my problems were ignored. The first time, it took over 2 months to get access to my coursework. I really hope it doesn't take that long this time since I'm tired of asking for extensions. This company is so disconnected, the servers barely work when you do get the textbook, and the help is minimal. If there is another option for your textbooks, take it!!
