WORST PLATFORM EVER!!!

I tried to get a refund on a previous plan on Pearson and once I applied for the new plan our professor provided, I kept getting this error message, and it won't let me access my assignments. I've contacted help, but they take time to respond, and my problem is not getting fixed anytime soon. I wish my professor would pick a better platform than this crap!

This company is awful!!

This company is awful!!! I swear there was a third option to only pay month by month. Why would I get a 6 month subscription when I only need the book for three? It was $9.99 a month when I bought it. Talked to the customer service and she sent a screenshot of it saying that it was a 6 month minimum for 10.58 and it says best value. I know damn well I didn’t do the best value deal. I remember clicking a different one because I didn’t need the best value. I’m a broke college student I don’t have money to be paying for 3 months of a book I will never read again!!!

DO NOT USE PEARSON ONVUE / VUE FOR EXAMS!

Test exam setup process failed using Pearson's systems, multiple times. Spent 30 minutes (after doing pre-checks and ensuring all was in compliance beforehand) trying to finalize setup & approval for exam testing space. The OnVUE system kept rejecting my pictures, giving me nonsense justification as to why. Clearly a robot checking the pictures and failing to identify them properly.

Customer "service" is only available via chat as their FAQs are pointless and there's no usable phone number to contact for quick resolution. Spent 30 minutes trying to explain the situation to the "service" rep, they were hardly helpful and ultimately opened a TICKET for me. Unable to help resolve the issue, unable to help me reschedule or provide any assurances whatsoever that the matter would be resolved. Now potentially out ~$500 trying to take my PMP exam for PMI at home in a prepared testing environment. Unbelievable.

Worst experience

Worst experience. I ordered several digital products which cannot be accessed for neuropsych testing. After 1 week of trying to get personalized assistance without any major headway, I can now appreciate WPS even more. What a waste of money and time. I have numerous emails asking for help. I just need to administer my assessments but they will not upload what I paid for. Will call my credit card company.

Pearson deserves to be shut down for good

Genuinely if your college class uses Pearson, find a new one or pray to the GODS you can even get a C.
From the amount of money I lost and had to wait weeks to be refunded for to the awful mechanics of the website, I cannot stress how HORRIBLE it is to use. Any teachers or professors contemplating on using this, RUN FAR AWAY! Don't punish your students for no reason. Find a better method of teaching because this is the most insufficient method EVER!
Customer service SUCKS too! They seem to hire the dumbest people alive and then refuse to train them on anything except how to say "I'm sorry, I wish I knew how to help you:("
PS. I don't even think I'm going to pass this semester with the lack of information in the textbooks!

so disappointed...

The classes are so incredibly buggy. I don't think I've used a worse piece of software in my entire life. These guys are total jokesters, and yes I'm heated because I continually get kicked out of their courses halfway through an exam. Or it just tells me that my answer is wrong in CIS even though 5 seconds earlier it said my answer was right. I've missed so many points solely on their poor software, and I'm tired of it. Luckily my professor is aware that the software is sh*t and normally lets us retake important work. They have done a terrible job and clearly only care about profit as we are continually forced to buy their crap digital products. I am extremely disappointed and will speak down on them until the day I die unless these issues change.

Pearson stinks

Pearson stinks. David Treat or whatever his name is, “Cheif Technology Officer” with what credentials to be fit in this role??? I don’t know. Masters in education and phd in Phycology. How is that in line with technology. Anyways, I write this in hopes that Pearson becomes a tool that is useful someday. I was extremely disappointed when I subscribed to Pearson, only to find out its complete garbage. The platform didn’t have my book and it kept forgetting any information I put in. I hope you guys do better because what actually is this. It has so much potential for growth, yet so underdeveloped. Kind of embarrassing. Why do I care so much? Well as a student it’s hard to come by a good study tool. Now with AI what makes Pearson so different? I don't know and yet I still decided to try. Surely that phycology phd is handy when finding ways to lure in customers to a garbage platform.

I have sat the PTE Academic six times in Melbourne, Australia, investing significant time, money, and effort into coaching, practice, and professional consultation — yet I am still unable to achieve the consistent scores my Australian PR application requires.

My scores across six attempts:
Test 1 — L:86, R:63, W:78, S:87
Test 2 — L:90, R:76, W:88, S:73
Test 3 — L:75, R:77, W:75, S:76
Test 4 — L:90, R:76, W:90, S:74
Test 5 — L:90, R:71, W:90, S:78
Test 6 (original) — L:88, R:78, W:85, S:72
Test 6 (after rescore) — L:90, R:78, W:67, S:90

What concerns me most is not the difficulty of the test, but the lack of scoring consistency and transparency. My Speaking scores have ranged from 72 to 90 across six attempts with no clear pattern, despite consistent preparation throughout.

Most troublingly, after paying for a rescore on my sixth attempt, my Writing dropped 18 points — from 85 to 67 — while Speaking jumped from 72 to 90. Pearson publicly states their AI scoring is highly accurate and rarely makes errors. If that is true, how does a rescore produce an 18-point reduction in a single component? This is not a minor variance. It raises serious questions about the reliability of the scoring process.

I have sought clarification through customer support with little meaningful response. For a test that directly impacts visa applications and people's futures, test-takers deserve transparent explanations when scores shift this dramatically.

I am requesting that Pearson review my Test 6 rescore result and provide a genuine explanation.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience with Pearson VUE.

My exam was rescheduled by them, and the notification I received clearly stated that I would be able to reschedule free of charge. However, when I tried to do this through their web app, I was still required to enter my card details and pay a €40 rescheduling fee.

I also attempted to contact support twice, but the call quality was extremely poor, with significant background noise, making it nearly impossible to understand the representatives. On top of that, the support line is a paid number, meaning I would have to spend more money just to resolve an issue that was not my fault.

It’s frustrating that in 2026, something as simple as honoring a “free reschedule” cannot be implemented properly in their system.

For a service that costs around $1000, I expected a much more reliable and customer-friendly experience.

Overall, very disappointed with both the system and the support.

Look elsewhere

Ordered a hard copy of a book more than 6 weeks ago. Dont know when it will arrive and cannot find where to track the package. Even the Pearson AI assistant cannot provide details on how to track the package!!!!
I would not bother trying to buy another textbook from them again.

Besser nicht...

Selten ein Lehrmittel so verspätet erhalten und noch dazu fast auf jeder Seite 1 oder mehrere Fehler in der Grammatik, ganze Sätze falsch oder Satzstellungen oder Satzendungen falsch vorhanden. Man lernt daher Fehler anstatt wie es korrekt gesprochen wird im englischen. Dazu sehr irreführend aufgebaut durch Kapitelsprünge von vorne nach hinten und zurück, gerade für Anfänger einer neuen Sprache demotivierend, da hinten Wörterwissen verlangt wird welches noch nicht Lehrmittel Inhalt war, noch nicht gewusst werden kann vom Lernenden! Detailerklärungen was, warum wie gesprochen wird oder viele Basics fehlen komplett im Gegensatz zu anderen Lehrmittel Produzenten. Nicht zu empfehlen!

I am still waiting for my refund

I am still waiting for my refund. I respectfully request that you reconsider your decision and process a full refund of the £160 fee paid for my exam. I believe the circumstances weren't a fair resolution, and I am seeking an appropriate outcome.

If this matter is not resolved within 24 hours, I will have no option but to escalate the issue further, including raising it with the relevant authorities and sharing my experience on public platforms.

I hope this can be resolved promptly and amicably.

Pearsons servers compromited...

I'm receiving phishing messages from their servers for weeks... They don't havy any abuse contact at the website, co I can't give them the details about the abusive behavior of their servers..

If I could give this program a negative…

If I could give this program a negative score- I would. Negative 10*10^(10). I need scientific notation to rate this piece of crap. I'm pre-med and had to deal with this program for the last 3 years and it has not gotten an ounce more comprehensible since the first time I used it. The most user-unfriendly program in the world. If Pearson was a person, I'd be in jail for life.
