I ordered the wrong partâmy bad, though I think not surprising. I needed a Gecko WP2, so I ordered it, not knowing that WP2 comes as a 115V and 230V model. (Why Gecko chooses the same ID for both is a mystery.) I didnât discover my mistake for several weeksâdidnât have time for repair. Once discovered, this company will not accept return. So I have a $400 doorstop.
Warranty isnât worth anything
Solar cover failed after 2 years with a ten year warranty. It wonât be covered because all the bubbles fell off. Thatâs not covered according to them. Donât buy from them!

I did not receive the GW9015 reducer cone nor did it include 412-0130 40-ft hose. Why would I pay so much for the little bit of stuff that was received? Requested refund on 6/7/2023.

They falsely advertise products. Almost all the pool safety covers have the exact same photo. I ordered a mesh safety cover for our inground pool. Photo showing it covered a rectangle with center steps. We got the product and after several days of rain we finally were able to top snit and noticed it DOES not cover the steps.
Chatted that night with a rep who need further education on how to communicate with customers, who hold us she âshe could not assist because it wasnât her jobâ
Offered to mail a return label and we could return. So then we called which again was a joke. No help there either. All we have ask is either a complete refund or send us the right one.

I needed a replacement Grid Assembly for FNS Filter. I read some of the online reviews but still decided to give it a try. They were offering a 40% difference and free shipping. I contacted customer service a couple of times to check on the order. They were very responsive. I received the filter package exactly as stated by the company. Great experience.

Good luck ever getting your item..
Placed an order for a replacement salt cell a week ago. Verified both on the website and via customer service rep item was in stock. Order was placed, credit card charge was submitted and then the fun began. Never received a tracking number, contacted PSW to investigate.. item is out of stock. A few days later, I check again, item is in stock and being processed. Still no tracking number. The next day I check in, item has been fulfilled, but no tracking because shipper hasn't picked up yet. Next morning, still no tracking.. customer service says item is out of stock.

Horrible customer service. Ordered a salt cell replacement that was defective (union threads miss aligned). Said they'd ship a new one as soon as I dropped my off at FedEx. They didn't. Then they said they'd ship as soon as they'd received it. They didn't. Then they assured me it would ship as soon as processed in 1-2 days. I then checked on the website to find out the part is out of stock! Had to call them again, and they said, oh yeah, it's on backorder. Unbelievable. Will never buy from them again. Spend the few extra bucks and buy elsewhere.

Horrible bought a brand new spa heater for 3500 and waited 2 weeks to have a pool tech installed to find out it does not work. Once contacting them about the problem. They infomed me they are partnered with pentair and that if they would send a replacement I would need to send it back and they would not know when I would get a new one and they could not give my money back nor pay for the shipping it back to them. Bad experience and poor customer service. I ordered a part to repair our salt cell system and it sat âpreparing for shippingâ for 3 weeks. Part showed it stock so I called several times and customer service to get a delivery timeline and I was told (twice) âit was going to ship in any day.â Customer service rep was really clueless as to when the order item would ship. I went to an alternate vendor and got my part in 4 days. With all the similar customer feedback reviews postedâŠI do not recommend them for any service or products.

I ordered a pool cover from Poolsupplyworld.com. I did not receive notice that it was shipping, and it was delivered to someone at a completely different address in the neighboring city. When I complained, all they could do was offer me $15 (I asked for my $50 shipping fee to be refunded since I had to drive 15 miles round trip and pick up the 50 lb pool cover myself). I am very disappointed and will not do business with them again.

Pool Supply World is one of the worst and distrustful retailers I have purchased from. I bought a T-15 salt cell from them that had a one-year warranty. The device stopped working after 8 months. I contacted them about the warranty and they did not get back to me for over a week. I called everyday after that to check progress and after waiting 15 minutes they told me that I would hear back shortly. After 7 calls, I finally was told they would replace my device, but I had to send the broken device in first. This is pool equipment. I canât remove a salt cell and still have a working pool. Besides the fact that my pool is starting to turn green because of a defective salt cell. I told them I would pay for the new one and then they can refund me once they receive the broken one. They refused to do this too. So now I am stuck. The next day I get an email saying that they are not going to honor the warranty. Donât trust this company. They have horrible customer service. There are so many better places to purchase from.

UPDATE: Maybe because of review? I was finally contacted by Pool Supply World (via email). They issued a RMA, and the purchase was refunded (over 6 weeks after I initiated the return), and they even paid for shipping. I was ultimately satisfied with the outcome. Still not impressed with customer service.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased a 2" Pentair slide valve that turned out to be defective when I finally opened the box. I was delayed in inspection because weather turned cold after purchase. I notified company of defect 3 days after their arbitrary 45-day return window. They sent an email asking for details when I complained. I responded immediately, but they have not responded to repeated calls and emails and a "chat session" for more than 3 weeks. I learned that when more than half the reviews are negative, don't buy - save yourself the aggravation and money: Don't buy from Pool Supply World!

Purchased a pool robot cleaner last year. It no longer cleans the pool. I have chatted, emailed as well as spoke on the phone about the year warranty. It's been a month now and still can not get any progress.
Going back to my CC company and file a complaint to refund $$.

Steer clear of them. I ordered an item for my pool and 8 days later it still had not shipped. Twice they told me "it is scheduled to ship today". When I look at the same item on their website it now says "out of stock" which they clearly know. Suspect this is a fraud / scam.
UPDATE: I emailed them telling them to cancel the order, much like other testimony here, they magically shipped next day. Of course no traceability number I could verify. What I did do is block my credit card, I may have to change the number of it but much better than these pirates accessing it. I was curious and checked out the 5 star ratings. They are generic and all written over a couple month period in 2020. Obviously employee written. The 1 star comments are consistent. This is a ONE STAR company.
Never purchased anything but charged my card!
I have never heard of this company nor have ever purchased anything from them. However, today I see a transaction for $189.60 on my debit card. I had to file a fraud claim. After reading the reviews, I feel they may have stolen my CC number!!!

Company has not responded to a warranty request on a salt cell. They directed me to Hayward when their product page clearly states that it is not a Hayward product. I left 1-start reviews on their site and they keep removing the reviews. Very disappointed and would not recommend buying a warranty product from there.

I have no problem with diversity but when I need to order parts I need to speak to someone who speaks English FLUENTLY. This has not the case for me with PSW until this summer; I have been a customer for years and have had excellent help. After 42 minutes on the phone and three different reps, went to Amazon instead.
