I bought a ford ranger from this company and from the outset it looked a reputable business, they were very attentive and polite,but then again I wouldn't of expected anything else when j was spending £25,000 !. The showroom is packed with a very impressive selection of high end and middle of the range vehicles and on the outside looks stunning ! But don't be fooled all that glistens isn't gold.i had the ranger for around 4 weeks when it had a problem with the auto gear box! It had been bodged with a cheap repair and broke down I contacted Aaron and yes after a bit of a frosty conversation he agreed to pick it up and repair it.i got the impression by his manner thst he wasn't to pleased thst I'd complained. I got the truck back and all was OK until it started to play up again and this time I took it to a local mechanic who on inspection told me the trucks engine had been replaced and had not been put back properly.. I now have to get these problems fixed myself .Aaron praises his highly skilled mechanics for their skills but even an average mechanic should notice when an engine isn't fitted correctly??.
I sound bitter ! But I'm just passing on my experience of this showroom and warn don't pass over your hard earned cash until 100% satisfied..

Bought a van from these chancers just before xmas 24 (£16200) lTold them i was coming to have a viewing the previous day and also as i set off on my journey(4 hours by train)
On turning up there was no van, they said it was getting an mot.
Three hours later the van turned up in the dark around 5pm. I was under pressure to buy van because of ulez plus insurance company was about to cancel my insurance.
They had a mechanic trying to turn off engine management light while i was looking round the van
On driving away smoke was billowing from exhaust and engine management light came back on.
Returned van to them a week later and waited 3 weeks to collect it. In the meantime they lent me a very small vw fox so i had 3 weeks loss of earnings as need a van.
Recieved van back but didnt use it for 6 weeks as was out the country.
Within 6 weeks of driving it i noticed it was losing a lot of oil. They had permantly turned off the stop/start feature and the engine management light. Next thing i know the van qent into limp mode. I got a local garage to get it running normally. Now its back in limp mode and local garage refuse to tough it as they say theres a oil burning inside the engine. Dpf is totally blocked and 8 months after purchase i have a van i cannot use.
I wouldnt trust these chancers as far as i can throw them

Purchased a Amrock Pick up after looking around for a while, very good choice, I went to buy a Blue one but the Black one was far better deal a tad more but less miles and newer. I dealt with Aaron who was very helpful and just left me to decide while having a coffee, the choice is VERY good, I read the old reviews but since they were close i though no harm in looking. Nothing i read re the negative i found to be plausible, must be someone having a bad day. Its the world of used cars, most work but some were just built on a Friday and the fitter wanted to go home early, its pot luck but choice, help and knowledge were 100%. Well worth a trip as the choice is always yours nobody makes you hand over your hard earn cash. Enjoy, I'm off playing for the weekend

Read the Budd reviews just seems like somebodyâs having a go. Just bought another car from these guys excellent service lots better than the main dealer at least you deal with a human. So far brought a Landrover, Porsche and just picked up a Mercedes. I had an issue with a key for the Landrover. Essy resolved. Some people I think just like to moan. Honestly no issues I would deal with again.

I was interested in a Dodge Ram advertised for £29500. I suggested my Toyota Landcruiser as part ex and surprisingly the sales readily agreed £20000. They did not ask for photo just the model. I agreed to do the deal on Friday (21/06/24) a 129 miles drive. I insured the Ram and had my Toyota cleaned for £100. I had an enquiry last night but told the person I had a deal. Today the sales guy rang and said he had sold the Ram. I was incandescent with rage and asked why he had not taken a deposit from me to which he replied â we donât take deposits as people arrive and change their mindsâ. I am 70 and have never been treated as badly as this. I looked the information held on this company which didnât look good. Buyer beware

Aaron is rude and does not tell the whole truth about the condition of the car, he sold me a car with a hidden defect that he did not inform me about and it was not written in the description of the car. fuel is getting into the engine.I informed AAron about this.he told me that I should go to a mechanic, he would cover the service costs(he didn't reimburse me for any of the costs) I took the car to the mechanic, then I ordered DPF filter cleaning, nothing helped, the problem came back, so AAron took it for repair, and from that moment on he started being rude, started calling me names and swearing at me, he gave me back the car and told me it had been repaired. I had no choice but to file a case in court ,see you in court.
if you want to buy a car from this dealer, check every inch of the car at an authorized showroom before paying the money. Check it out yourself too. Don't rely on the seller's description.

Poor communication, odd company
Tried contacting twice through eBay, no answer. Tried emailing - no answer. Tried calling and eventually got through to someone. Explained I was following up previous coms I had sent but the person on the phone didnât seem to have a clue.
I explained the situation, and he said he was not interested in a PX and the phone cut off. Fine if not interested than just thank someone for the enquiry and let them know, ask if they are interested in the car still - but donât waste their time. But then the same person called me back and proceeded to ask details about the vehicle, age, mileage etc which I told him.
I was told to WhatsApp details and they would contact me next morning to try and do a deal, very odd, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. So I sent everything through. Fast forward a few days, no response no call again.
The annoying thing is, I was thinking of just buying the car I wanted if I liked it and selling mine separate - would have just been easier for me to do a PX.
Given their lack of response and eventual confusing communication with a potential customer, it gave me zero confidence that if there were any major issues with the car after purchase that they would address them, and after sales support could be equally as shocking.
After reading the reviews Iâve found on line it seems like a common theme, so it has probably done me a favour and Iâve dodged a bit of a bullet to be honest.
I own a digital marketing agency and I would never ghost or qualify out a potential lead like they seem to so easily. Iâve got a few large social media accounts for petrol heads and also my own company organising road rallies, Iâll definitely not be looking to these guys for sponsorship and will be letting people know to be very cautious about this dealer.
A nightmare for a year.
Bought a Hummer H3 and it was one of the worst experiences of my adult life.
Riddled with issues and a constant money pit, I drove it for about 2-3 months out of a year of ownership otherwise it was in the garage as it wasn't driveable or at a mechanic's garage trying to be fixed for another problem. Praters did pay out for some of the work done in the 3 month warranty but overall I lost significant amounts of money trying to fix what was wrong with it. For example, I was told the car didn't come to the UK with an alarm from the factory which was utter rubbish as there was an alarm fitted but had been disconnected we later found out. Spent a fortune on that. Brake lights went on and off all night draining the battery, interior lights weren't connected, seatbelt indicator front passenger side chimed even when plugged in, EML light came on when someone sat in the front passenger seat, underneath was dramatically rusted, potentially from salt water so had to get that worked on, dodgy start from time to time which we never worked out, among other electrical gremlin issues too numerous to mention.
The two blokes at Praters were pleasant at the time and weren't pushy or anything of that nature so I can't fault them there but I have learnt so much about 2nd hand car purchasing from this nightmare. We part-exchanged and they didn't even check over my old car first which should of set off alarm bells.
Finally sold the vehicle at a massive loss but glad the nightmare is over. A very expensive learning experience.
