Smooth and easy visit for the fitting of a set of tyres pre purchased online. It was easy to make the purchase and receive a good discount.
Booking for the fitting was simple. I arrived in plenty of time and the vehicle was bought into the fitting bay quickly. Only had to wait around 45mins, then I was on my way. Very impressed.

Their website is straightforward with lots of tyres to choose from and as a customer you're well informed about the things that matter such as seasonal suitability, capability in wet weather and level of road noise. Purchasing and payment was done quickly. The team at Protyre Carlisle were the final piece of the jigsaw and they carried out their work in no time and without issue. Go elsewhere. Very unprofessional
Had 4 tyres fitted to my Audi RS3 by Gates at Carlisle. A 3 min drive from home. Upon inspection when finished there where 2 wheel nut covers missing (checked them on my drive before setting off as had this happen before)
Mechanic with a sour attitude told me they where missing and that was that. Basically called me a liar. Will never use them again.
update. checked the work and low and behold all tyre vale caps loose and all wheel nut covers not pushed on properly. To make matters worse all tyre pressures set at the wrong value and all differnent. No attention to detail here. AVOID gates tyres Kingstown Carlisle

Couldn't reset the diagnostics on a 72 plate Honda.
After laying out £130.00 at the Honda dealership I was grateful to Dan for organising a refund. The staff are poilet and diligent but the diagnostics is stone age!

Really great service from Phil, explained the brand options, prices and delivery times. Tyres in next day and fitted in under an hour was easy to book a time that suited me. Just great can’t recommend enough. Cheers Phil and the team!
