Had to get AA as wheel nuts not tight
Had to get AA as wheel nuts not tight. Very fortunate to have pulled in when I did. Gates have kept me informed and looking into how this has happened as wheel is damaged and further part is needed. Hoping its all sorted tomorrow.
Gates ordered new wheel, replaced brakes and discs as precaution at my convenience. Kept informed throughout. Will be back for MOT.

The communication with Craig was much appreciated . I felt he did his absolute best . Despite my vehicle failing it’s MOT and costing more that I hoped he kept me informed and I was still able to get my car back on same day . Thank you

Lovely staff
I've been to Gates Tyres a couple of times for my car both times they were great the staff seem like a good bunch and very reasonable. The receptionist said they would charge the original price for my tyres as they didn't have the ones I got last time in stock which was very considerate. I really valued their service and will be going back for sure!

My car needs tyres next £180 each they’ve no chance
I phoned for motorcycle tyres having a Honda Goldwing trike.On taking it in to have 2tyres fitted £160 I was told they couldn’t touch it they didn’t know how they would jack it up I told them how I did it( no thank you),they didn’t have anyone who could ride it into the workshop I told them I would ( no thanks I wasn’t allowed)I should then have said ok I’ll ride to the entrance and they could take the wheels off there and take inside to fit new tyres but I didn’t silly me so I said I’ll take it home take the wheels off and bring them back in the car.Got home said never mind and went elsewhere gain to me tyres cheaper loss for Gates £160 and future custom.Health and Safety at work at it’s best I had the same problem in Emergency Services before I Retired.mike graham.

Efficient service
Efficient service, tyres were in stock to be fitted and there wasn't too long to wait.
The wheel balancing was accurate, not everyone manages this first time.
A minor point was that the VAT invoice didn't exactly match the online card payment amount being a few pence out in both the total and VAT amounts
