I drive 25 miles to Micheldever because every time I go there I sense I am getting a great price and the people fitting my tyres really know what they are talking about. I discovered them in the 90s when I found they could supply 4 tyres for my SAAB for the price my local dealer wanted for 1. Just keep on going back.

Had a puncture on a tyre that was under a month old, another company said they couldn’t fix it and tried to sell me another tyre. Took it to Micheldever tyres who repaired it promptly and without comment, thank you for doing a good job and not trying to stitch me up

Making the booking was easy

We made an online appointment and were seen exactly on time. Very competitive prices and excellent service.

Service is much slower with new owners, but no faulting the quality of the service.

Very pleased with the tracking and tyre fitting. Needed two more tyres and had to send someone to pick them up. They were very helpful.

When I arrived and checked in at reception, Tom could not find any record of the booking for the job, which was to install a new car battery and check whether the centre brake lights needed replacing. However, he managed to locate the correct type of battery and to allocate a mechanic to install it there and then. Thanks for saving the day.

Audi picked up a screw on the shoulder. It was still poking out but unscrewing it made it leak, so couldn’t drive on it. Took it down in the boot of the Mustang and explained the situation, no problem! Drove back with the new tyre, chucked that on the Audi and headed down again to get the second one done. £50 per tyre cheaper than Halfords Autocentre, super helpful and now Audi has two new fronts! Great value and good service

The job of two tyres fitted was very good, but had appointment for 11.00 but left there at approx 13.15 so what's the point of booking a time slot. Will still use though as they are good.

The checking in operative Jake or Josh realized on checking my online order against my fitted tyres I had mistakenly ordered Van tyres! so he sorted it for me by getting correct tyres in for my car and appointment to have them fitted th next working day,Well done Jake/ Josh 👍😀 we

Excellent service and expertise would highly recommend!

Firstly, when I arrived in plenty of time for my booked appointment, there was a queue, so i left my car and went into reception to tell them I had arrived, and was told to go back to my car and wait. After what seemed like ages, finally someone came over and took my details, and i explained that my wheels needed swapping as i had just bought the car and the front and back wheels were on the wrong way round and needed swapping back as the front and rear are different sizes. Then the wait went on. Eventually, because of the delay, I was told to take it round to have the free wheel alignment done, and while waiting for that was then told that one of my tyres wasn't in stock, and that i would have to come back tomorrow. Then i was offered a set of inferior tyres to the ones i had bought, and then he came back and said that someone was going to go to the warehouse and get my missing tyre! It had the alignment and that was really out, but when I told the guy that my wheels were the wrong way round, he said that the alignment test shouldn't have been done until the tyres and wheels had been done, he was not impressed that he had not been informed! Then another wait until the job had been done and the alignment was re-done. It was fine this time! But, considering that I booked a slot at 2.30, I didn't leave until gone 5pm! The tyres were great, and the price was fantastic but the service needs sorting out and the staff need to make their colleagues aware of any issues the customers may have! Also, is it worth booking a slot when you are still put in the 'drive in' queue? I think booking and paid up front customers need to be given priority over the 'turn up whenever' people.

Great service. Had a flat tyre at home. Couldn't get the tyre off to change to the spare. Micheldever quoted for a new tyre plus call out(reasonably priced too)
But when the mechanic came out he managed to do a puncture repair, saving me money! Thanks Micheldever!

I have been going to Micheldever Tyres for approx. 40 years. Mainly because they were always a better price and held more stock than retailers in town.
This time I was asked if I had ordered the tyres, which I hadn't.
I was then quoted a price. Thinking it was a bit high, I asked if they could do a better price. They reduced the price slightly, so I had two tyres fitted.
On returning home I checked the Protyre website and found I had been charged £18 more than the online price, and there was a further online discount of £10 with a code.
I guess the moral is, book online. But really I was disappointed with this sort of behaviour from a long standing, local business.
